I ordered a stroker kit through Clegg in 2019, and although it's been a long time coming, I finally got my engine put together. Their service was topnotch, and they got me exactly what I needed to make this happen, answering plenty of questions along the way. Excellent prices, superior customer service, and knowledgeable answers. Thanks, guys!

They did an awesome job on my 350 for a 71 Camaro, now I'm having them rebuild my 455 for a Trans am. Highly recommend!

I'm still putting the car back together but the machine work looks good. The price was more then I was initially lead to believe but part of it was more preexisting damage then was thought. We will see how she runs when I get everything finished up.

I ve dropped off several sets of cylinder heads to these guys, they are always super helpful and get the job done right. Their turn around time is always super quick and the staff is always very nice. I recommend anyone who needs machining done to go to Cleggs

Had Clegg s machine my block, they looked everything over and informed me of what needed to be done. They ordered the parts I needed and had everything cleaned and machined, and ready to pick up in a timely manner! I reassembled it myself, and every one of the clearances were dead on perfect. Everything went together smoothly, I ll definitely be having them do my future engine projects! You can t go wrong with these guys and their professionalism. There s a reason they ve been in business as long as they have.

This company has ZERO customer assistance or care.Disrespectful, blaming and hiding behind their "warranty policy"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Owner started by apologizing and claiming they had a bad batch of bearings and that he would cover the labor, then completely flipped and went to blaming me and saying there's no warranty and he wont cover anything, as if I would pay him again.... SHADY SHADY!Machine Billling 10/2020Engine Installed 02/2021Lost oil pressure 01/2022 (CAM BEARING CRACKED)With only 7000 Miles! Motor literally came apart due to machining & bearing install errors.Never have your engine rebuilt by them, they will never help a customer with premature failures, their full of it!Paper work is short and bare minimum. No information is clear. My motor made it 7,000 miles and every bearing is literally toast.I've never seen a cam bearing crack, this is far from my first engine build, but my first time seeing this poor of work....Their machine work is trash...Their Customer support is trash...Their quality control is trash...Their billing and invoice dept. literally keeps track of nothing....

Highly recommended!This review is coming late but I had Cleggs bore the block and repair some damage on the head of my Honda K-series autocross car. Every bit of machine work was top notch! Not to mention I got everything back clean and organized. The engine is solid! 195psi on all cylinders, revving high and running cool. Thanks! No way would I use these guys again. I switched to try them to have a head shaved instead of the usual guy I use because they quoted me a lower price, well that lower price sure has cost me a lot now. They wanted to turn my $65 head shave into a $300+ valve job after looking at the head and kept trying upsell me. After having to go to the shop several times to talk with them on what my head actually needed, we settled on them replacing the 1 actual bad valve and drilling out a broken exhaust bolt and told me it would be about $50-$75 more than just the head shave. When they called me to pick it up I had to ask him repeatedly to tell me the total on the phone, he looks it up and tells me $225 ... naturally I was irritated. After talking to them again they told me the total was only $150. Not sure what went on in the background between calls and I was not excited about $150 since it was still more than we had talked about but I wanted to just get the motor running again and so I paid and picked it up.Well now its a month or so later as it took me a week or 2 to get the Jeep back together, and then spent the next 2 weeks trying to figure out why it ran so crappy (thinking it was plugs or timing or something) ... well finally started to suspect the head. Well I put new plugs in it ran it for a few mins then pulled them and the center 2 spark plugs are totally burned, so initially thinking a stuck valve or something something else worse (which is the cylinder they replaced the valve). Not sure what these guys did but now the valve cover bolt hole connects to a water passage. Yeah imagine my surprise when I started removing the valve cover only to find the radiator fluid started coming out of the valve cover bolt hole. You can shine a flashlight down into the bolt hole and it goes straight through now. And when I pulled the head it was clear that the reason it was not running right is because it was not sealing between cyl 2 and 3 which only leads me to believe it was not surfaced correctlyWhatever you do, go somewhere else, the guy in the front office was super nice, but thats the end of positive things I have to say about them. The guy in the back was rude and this head is ruined and I am out about $300 in parts and labor (not to mention weeks of time) and now I gotta go find a new head. My worst experience with a machine shop ever.Thats a lot of work and money wasted.

Excellent customer service and high quality work! We rebuilt a 1999 GEO Metro, which was hard to source parts for. Veryl, Jarron, and Tyler, knew where to find the parts. They were very friendly and were easy to work with. I highly recommend these guys.

I had Clay machine perform machine work on an engine block crankshaft and cylinder heads. I'm a stickler for the details. I double checked all my bearing clearances. Everything was spot on. Great job guys.

These guys get the job done right. I would recommend to anyone. The engine is solid, 305/334 stroker/matching number on a 1989 IROCZ. I shipped the block from Miami FL. I told them every thing I wanted they delivered. They sent pictures through out the process like watching a baby being born. I love my stroker motor. Kevin is an impressive sales man, he made me feel at ease and explained every step of the way. Well worth the extra money it was to ship it, they are truly pros in the industry.

They will lie to your face if it means you'll come in and possibly spend money on anything. I went in for a 93 460 rod, said they had one when I called, when I get there they didn't have it. Then they told me it would come in next day, if it ordered it that day, it took about a week and a half. These guys are rude and they will lie to you if it means they get to pocket even the smallest amount of money.Evil company, I highly recommend you take your money, business and time somewhere else.

Great service! I was visiting family for a few days and tackled a blown head gasket on a Jeep 2.5L. These guys cleaned, checked and milled the head in less than 24 hrs after my initial call. They also cleaned an aluminum valve cover that was caked in carbon deposits. Quality work and within my time window. I can't say how much I appreciate that kind of service! Brought them an EJ255 block and heads with instructions to do what it takes to make them right. They were good to communicate with me on how things measured out, what they needed to do, and what parts I would need to provide for them. Turnaround was a little over a month, but they were definitely swamped at the time (they gave me a little tour of the shop and there were plenty of projects in line). I'm very happy with the end result. Engine runs great. No oil burning, valvetrain noise, or any other weirdness.

I've known Earl for 30 years.He'll outlast just about every crankshaft ever made. These guys do fabulous work and have the many years to back it up!!! Please do yourself a favor and take your engine machine work to them!

I bought a rebuild kit from them and I've gotta say this is one of the best all time customer service experiences I've ever had. The guys over there really know their stuff and was super helpful getting me the correct info. I live in Colorado and I ordered a kit from them and it showed up at 11 the next day. I had to get more parts and they went above and beyond to help me with that too. It's really hard to find a company like this, I will definitely continue to do business with them.

They have A-mazing customer service!! I picked up a rebuild kit and the whole experience was perfect. There was a minor cosmetic ding on a piston and they helped fixed it with NO problem! No fussing over the fact it didn't matter or anything. When he came back he explained it well to me. I loved coming here and definitely always be first on my list to call for any parts or service

Truly the best machine shop I've ever worked with. I had gone to other places in the past but none compare the Cleggs. I brought in a head that ended up being cracked. So they waited for me to source another head. After pulling another head from a junk yard that eneded up being cracked as well they waited yet again for me to source another head. Once I found a head that wasn't cracked they promptly assembled the good head and made it better than new. They do high quality work and I will recommend everyone to this shop. Earl and Hunter are totally awesome. Definitely go here its worth it.

Very helpful people. First time I've taken a head in to be machined and everything went smooth. I waited to reinstall the head before leaving a review because I wanted to be sure that everything works. The engine started right up and seems to work great. The staff answered all my questions and seemed very happy to help. Thanks for the great work!

Booked pretty far out. Person on the phone struggled answering basic questions.How much too resurface,and renew valve seals.Probably good if they are booked out like they are.
