If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! These guys are knowledgeable and always willing to provide assistance over the phone. Jim is incredible and we appreciate all the work he has provided on my 06 duramax! I won't let anyone else touch my truck except for bakers!! Thank you guys a bunch for your honesty and knowledge! It does not go unnoticed!!

Just bought an 04 duramax. These guys did a full inspection oil change and filter Change. This is not what they do. They let me know it might be tough to get on the schedule but they worked with me and got it done. Made me feel great about my purchase. Great people willing to help if they have the extra time! Thanks guys! I appreciate your help!

I took a truck in to get it worked on. Clearly they didn't want to do the piston repair. They quoted me around $20,000. This is not embellished at all.They could have told me that they didn't want to touch it.I took it elsewhere after a $250 diagnosis fee. It was repaired for under $3000. Makes me wonder if they upcharge others as well. Don't waste your time or money.

I'm very impressed by the customer service and the willingness to help me with my truck. I didn't even take my truck in, I called to see if they can guide me with a problem I couldn't figure out. They had me speak with a guy named Jim because he is familiar with duramax and he was the guy I needed help from. He was able to tell me what I did wrong and what I need to do to correct it. I spoke with him several times on the phone over a few days while fixing my truck and he was always so happy to help every time. Thank you Jim and bakers diesel with helping me all over the phone. I did get my erg cooler bypass valve replaced and got my truck back on the road. It wasn't easy and you told me it wouldn't but I did it! Thank you so much!

We mistakenly thought Bakers was a big truck mechanic shop, but was not the! However the gentleman that my husband spoke with was happy to refer us to another shop that could handle what we needed done and he was absolutely spot on with sending us there. Very helpful and much appreciated. THANK YOU!!! The young man at the next shop was more that helpful and very compliant to get us in and fixed immediately, We were back on the road in no time at all !!!

Currently, I own 2 chevys, 1 LLY, and 1 LBZ. Jim and the team were amazing. I brought my LLY in for a surging concern, and he knew instantly it was my fuel pressure regulator, fixed in a couple hours. A year later, I called him over the phone for my LBZ. He was diagnosed over the phone, which was amazing, especially since I was in another state. My head gaskets were blown, which was a tough pill to swallow, but he assured me he could do the job. Here I am a year later, and absolutely no issues with my truck. It runs like a new truck. Thanks, Jim and Bakers diesel....

This place is great. Jim has been very helpful. I've honestly never been able to get in because they're always booked out weeks. I use my truck for work and always need it fixed like yesterday. But even though I've not been able to get my truck in, Jim has always been extremely helpful. I've called and asked questions and he's more then willing to help even though I'm probably a nuisance. My t case recently went out, and the shop I went to, which I like, couldn't get a t case for the price Jim could. So Jim ordered me a t case even though they aren't working on my truck! Great place, it makes sense why they are so busy.

UPDATE: These guys are a rare bunch! It is so refreshing to do business with people who care about their customers and their trucks. Work is done right and done for a reasonable cost. Plus, Thanks Justin and Jim for taking time to answer questions on the phone!!!!!No reason to go anywhere else !!!UPDATE: 5/21/2021Once again these guys went above and beyond. New flywheel and clutch, rear main seal and fuel pump. No more rattling, leaks all fixed and ALL issues resolved. (Thank you Justin)!These guys are busy, but do yourself a big favor and make an appointment at Baker s. I recommend them as the go to place for anything on your diesel.

Excellent local business. I was able to semi diagnose an issue that I was having with my truck and had an upcoming trip in which I needed my truck. I was able to make arrangements with them, get my truck to them and have them change out a few high pressure oil pump gaskets for me. their prices are very fair, their mechanics are very knowledgeable and they were able to make the repairs for me so that I could get my truck and have it for my trip. Thank you for squeezing me in and repairing my truck in a very timely manner! Thank you! Highly recommended!!!!

I usually don't write reviews so here goes. These guys are good. I have had them put in an engine and a clutch on separate visits and some other small things. Never had a problem with customer service actually its really amazing. I had some warranty work done on the new engine and they had no questions and fixed it fast. I drive from Sandy just to take my truck here. They have never tried to sell me stuff I don't need like some of the other places in the valley. Thanks Doug for keeping my truck going down the road.

Love the honesty and knolwedge these guys have. They ll tell you straight up whether it s good or bad and give honest, unbiased advice. Justin knows his Fords very well and he got me in very quickly to check out my truck for me. I always recommend family and friends to take their trucks here and they have been happy with them as well. Thanks guys!

I have dealt with Baker s Diesel for several years now and with three different trucks. They are very knowledgeable and offer excellent customer service. Jim was awesome when I owned a duramax. I recently purchased some products from Jason and he was very professional and helpful. I m a customer for life.

Got a southbend dual disk clutch. Had some squeaking going on with it after a little and Jason got with southbend and his team and got it taken care of no charge. Very happy !

Driving through from out of town, I blew a fuel line on my 97' 7.3 F250. Bakers Diesel and Tanner were amazing. They made quick repairs at a good price, the ultimate test being the thousand mile drive home hauling a camper on their work. Flawless, Solid work, thanks again.

So grateful to find someone skilled with wiring! They had it for over 2 weeks, but told us up front that they probably couldn't get to it before then, so that's just fine...we couldn't drive it anyway lol

I took my 2002 duramax to Jim thinking I needed my injectors replaced. I received a call from him stating that after his lengthy diagnostics check, . he would recommend That I just use an additive to resolve my issue( saving me a lot of money).I am in the process of doing just that. I really believe he is an honest Knowledgeable master mechanic. Thank you for your honesty. You Will always have my business..

Thought I would pretend to be a mechanic and put a fass on my 04 dodge quickly found out it was not the job for me, so I took my truck to bakers they found the problem, Lost two injectors and they had it done fast! Awesome experience, will be going back for all service/repairs

Outstanding service! Traveling through Ogden I discovered my truck had a serious oil leak. Always feels risky to have work done away from home ... but these guys were great. They immediately diagnosed the problem as a o-ring failure and fixed it that day for a very reasonable price. Could not have been more pleased with the way I was treated.

Super awesome people! Worked with Tanner on my truck. Non running truck and within a day he had it running, got it back and noticed a small issue. Called him back and he had back into the shop the next day and done by the afternoon! During the busy holiday season! Thanks a bunch Tanner!

Had my TCM go out Thursday night in my 2009 duramax. Called and spoke with Jim Friday morning and got it towed and droped off. He had to have a guy come in and program the new one and coordinated it fast and efficient. Told me he wouldn t be able to work on it till Wednesday and got it done Monday night. Was super impressed and very happy with him and the quote he gave me was spot on!! Any work I need on my diesel will go to Bakers Deisel!

Taylor is the only guy in the state I would let touch my 6.0 ford. He is super knowledgeable and saved me over 3000 dollars! And if you have an old idi ford diesel Jim is your man to talk to. I couldn t find some seals for it I called him and Within minutes he found them and had them coming in the mail to me. Bakers diesel is one of the best! You won t be disappointed. If you own a ford diesel I highly recommend taking it here.

I had a second vehicle that wasn't to worried about getting fixed, and the did a bang up job! Help me with shop fees, and got it done 3 weeks before the projected day. I am always take my truck back here!

Great service. We were just passing through town and had an electrical problem with truck. Mark had us swing by and immediately helped us diagnose the problem to see if it would hinder us from going further. Spent about 45min helping us and then didn t charge us anything! Really appreciate their help and very friendly group.

I own a repair shop. We have used Scott and his team for many years for parts and their wealth of knowledge on Diesels. They are always friendly and helpful. They have Technicians that are intelligent and proficient in each of the major brands. Thank you guy's for your help.
