We used Daylight Glass to install every window in our house, a folding accordion window, and also a frameless glass door for our shower. There were several complicated window installs we had to work around and they were positive and helpful every step of the way. The work was exceptional, Cam was amazing to work, and all of our windows were installed without issue. Highly recommended.Service: Installation

They tore my brand new hardwood up, installed windows incorrectly, came back 4 times after it s all done to finish, Cam got in multiple fights with my contractor, a window was sitting in an opening totally uninstalled after two of his best guys quality control checks said were good, and worst of all Cam lied with his buddy salesman from Epic Windows about the sliding glass doors fitting in current framing. We ll make it work no problem he said before I bought them. It cost me 4k to grind down concrete after the fact where it would have been a few hundred to fix the framing if he d just been honest.One of my first impressions of Cam (the owner) was him saying your project is not that big I ve got my best guys down south working on a way bigger project. I m remodeling a 4.5k square foot house in cottonwood heights. 30 windows and 10 floor to ceiling huge doors.I don t know what this guys insecurity is but he flippantly told me my job was unimportant after I tried to politely coordinate after he misscheduled the job. (He didn t read an email from the window manufacture.)Totally unprofessional. A clown show. Go somewhere else.

Wow, these guys are top notch window professionals! I worked mostly with Cam, but also Carter helped measure the windows initially and get things moving. I had 7 basement windows replaced, including 1 bigger egress window. Cam was so clear in communicating with me and answering my MANY questions. They came up with a great plan and took into account what I wanted and what would be best for the space. Quality products and quality work. I couldn't be happier with my choice to use Daylight Glass, seriously. They went above and beyond with the whole process, and it made it way easy for me. Thank you SO MUCH, I love having these new windows that work right and are all sealed up properly, and look amazing!

The day of installation they left 2 windows with large 1/2 in gaps. I was told that they are not carpenters and they could put plastic trim around it or we would need to finish it ourselves. It was never disclosed to us that we would need to do our own finish work. Before they left I made it very clear I was not satisfied but was told this was their finished product. When they were here, they made a huge mess putting their power saw and other tools on my bed. I found plastic shards all over our rooms, dust everywhere, and tools had been left accidentally by them. I also had to clean my carpets whereas it was raining and they trampled mud through the house.After explaining to the owner the problems with the front windows he said that because we have stucco there is no other way they could have done the installation. After much argument he agreed to waive the labor costs where they did not disclose that we would have finish work to do. He assured us that all of his competitors would have done the same. I decided to call in some of these competitors to get another opinion. I had 2 other companies come in and both told me that the windows were measured incorrectly and that is the problem. Both said that to fix the problem we would need to rip the windows out and replace them with new windows. Because of the way daylight installed them, there would most likely be stucco repair too. They both said that if the windows would have been installed properly there wouldn t be any repair of the stucco but since they did it the way they did, I was stuck. The other option that was recommended to me was to hire a handyman to come in and build the windowsill out to fit the new window. This was the cheaper route (by far) so in the end we decided to do this. The cost of the labor he waived almost covered the cost of the handyman. But in the end, I wish that the windows were the proper size and installed the correct way. I m settling with this solution, but it will work. Had I known this was the way they would have installed it, I would have gone with someone else. In my opinion they are not skilled enough to do window replacement on homes with stucco.Another issue we had was that all of our windows slide ox. We requested the new windows slide that same way to match. The windows they installed slide xo. The owner told us they don t make windows to slide ox which after talking to their competitors we now know is a lie.The other issue we had was they were supposed to replace our sliding glass door. They came out 3 times to measure. The door did not come in when they installed the windows. After the fiasco with the windows I was very hesitant to have them install the door. The owner threatened to put a lien on our home and told us to quit trying to screw him. He told us that we were responsible to pay for the door and he would just have it dropped off at our house and we could have someone else install it. I had the other two competitors look at the door measurements and they both refused to install it because they both said that the measurements were wrong. The door he ordered also slid xo instead of ox which it needed to do to work with my kitchen layout. The owner, after a lot of threats, finally gave in about us having to purchase his door that was the wrong size after both of these competitors came back with the same conclusion. So basically, the owner did work with us by waiving his labor costs and we paid a little more than those costs to have a handyman come in and fix it but it still isn t done the way it was supposed to and we had to fight with him to make it semi right. I have had HVAC, plumbers, and tile guys in my home doing other work the past few months and not had any issues like this with other trades. I m not a picky person that looks to screw over people. My husband even works in construction so I know how this kind of work goes. It has been nothing but a nightmare. Buyer beware.

I'm thankful that there are still companies like Daylight Glass I can rely on who are trustworthy. Not to mention how they give back to the community they service. Would highly recommend Daylight Glass for any window job.

Very SNOTTY front office person in Morgan, UT. It's been over a year and our Warrantee issue is unresolved and all they can say is "it's not our fault, deal with it"! I can't believe this person is the point of contact for any company.
