Brad was great. Got my truck fixed quick and saved my MOAB trip. Worth the drive if you're thinking about it. Honest mechanic- fair pricing. Don't drive past this shop for the other guys in town, you'll regret it!

Brad was able to work with us on ordering and installing new tires on old trailers my dad had in town. He even went to his house to check the tire size so they would be ordered in time to install when we arrived.

OMG! The best mechanic in Utah. Brad is a great person and does great work, if you are anywhere near Monticello Utah, and have any issues with your vehicle, give him a call or take your vehicle there immediately. Our car broke down right outside the small beautiful little town on Thanksgiving weekend when nobody was open, we are from Texas and we were driving home. Our transmission plug came out and transmission fluid was all over the concrete. The tow truck driver dropped it off at Dependable Automotive, and we left a note with our keys in the dropbox. Monday morning, Brad gave us a call, because Easy Honda on I-10 and Gessner in Houston Texas was at fault (don t ever go there) we had to start looking for legal help. Brad was amazingly helpful with getting us pictures and explaining everything that the dealership was trying to be shady about. He even waved storage fees because he is such a good guy and knew that we were already going through hell with the dealership. Definitely recommend Brad and his shop. God bless this company and Brad personally.

Brad is phenomenal! I knew I needed a new water pump on my Tundra. Turns out, he is a certified master mechanic for Toyota!!!!! I scheduled an appointment online over a weekend (Sunday) and he responded THAT DAY! I asked him for a specific OEM pump and he ordered it, got it on Tues morning and had it installed by afternoon! I barely had enough time to go mountain biking while I waited, and I got a message that he was done! Super A++ work! He told me that his philosophy is to "get things done as efficiently as possible because he'll never know what it's like to be without his car. If his personal car breaks down, he just fixes it! Other people don't have that ability and knowledge." So, he tries to get everybody back on the road just as soon as possible! He's a wonderful mechanic, a great guy and has a fun sense of humor! Thanks, Brad!

Absolutely amazing. On my trip from Washington state to Texas, the fuel pump died. Brad went above and beyond. After the delivery guy brought the wrong part, he drove to moab and got it himself. Worked super early in the morning so that it was ready first thing.That's not all! 15 min down the road, car died again. I call Brad, he gives me the number for a tow. Not only did he fix the problem, he paid for the tow and topped off my gas. Absolutely legendary.Thank you, Brad!

While on a cross country trip our check engine light came on a few miles outside town.We went to Dependable Auro very close to closing time and the gentleman immediately brought our vehicle into the garage to check out the issue.He was very polite and professional. After 10 minutes, we were good to go.Very thankful for Dependable Auto and to the local police department who provided directions.

Highly recommend, my car hobbled into Monticello Tuesday morning halfway through a long road trip. Brad, the owner looked at it right away. He quickly diagnosed it and ordered the parts. The parts would take a couple of days to be delivered, but he worked with my dad who lived 6 hours away to get the right parts and my dad drove them over Tuesday night. I left the parts in my car, and dropped the keys in the key drop. I get a text Wednesday morning at 7 AM, that the car is ready! I was so surprised I had to call to confirm. The shop doesn t even open until 8. Brad came in super early and started work on it while I was asleep. Unreal! I was able to hit the road, spending less than 24 hours in Monticello to fix a major problem with my vehicle. I m so grateful for Brad, his integrity, and his empathy for my situation. I m currently 600 miles away from Monticello, and the car is running smoothly.

Brad took excellent care of us! We re hundreds of miles away from home and needed 5 wheel hub studs replaced. He was one of the most friendly mechanics I ve ever met. I immediately felt at home in his shop. He got the parts, fixed our car quickly, and made sure we d have a safe drive back home. This is a business worth supporting.

Brad was very helpful. My wife is traveling with my daughter and had some mechanical problems. He was quick to diagnose the issue, and though he didn't have the parts to fix it himself he did what he could so my wife could continue traveling with the plan to get to a location that had what was needed. He went above and beyond! I highly recommend him.

We were traveling in our Ram Promaster camper van when the front end developed a disconcerting intermittent wobble. Brad, owner of Dependable, took us in and rode with us, quickly diagnosed the issue as failing CV joints, and squeezed us into his schedule. He had to order parts, allowed us to camp in his drive overnight, left to get the parts early in the morning, and had us back on the road, all in about 24 hours. He was honest and direct with us, and the end cost was reasonable. We felt very lucky to find him, and we encourage you to use his services. We only wish he lived near us, as we d quit using the pricey Ram dealer and rely on Brad. Five stars from these happy campers.

Brad and Hayden where so helpful in diagnosing my electrical issue on my van. Brad seems to have great knowledge on a vast array of vehicle related problems. He quickly Found the problem, laid out my options for fixing said problem and was very optimistic and friendly the entire way. Brad is personable and has a character of competence and kindness that everyone should strive to emulate.My wife and I experienced the loss of a few wheel studs while travelling from Missouri, and Brad took us (complete strangers) in with hospitality, treating us like his own children. He had our car fixed and out in around an hour.He is a highly skilled mechanic who is well equipped to handle any issue brought to him, and offers a great price for his very high quality services, without any desire to gouge/upcharge his customers. He will bend over backwards (perhaps literally) to get you back on the road as quickly and cheaply as possible, hopefully with a smile on your face.

Great service! We were just passing through when we got a nail in our tire, causing a slow leak. Brad was very polite and had us in and out in far less time than we anticipated while also being incredibly affordable.

We stopped by to ask couple of questions about why we had no heat. Brad proceeded with check coolant. He said was low. He added coolant ( about a gallon). That seemed to correct heat issue. He advise to keep eye on it for leak. I ask Brad what did I owe him. He said nothing. I told him thank you but I did leave him a tip! Thanks Brad!

Had a brake pod blow out on my semi truck. Brad had the pod and while he was busy and couldn t do a roadside call we were able to squeak by to get to him he had us in and out in 2 1/2 hours . Highly recommend Dependable Automotive

Was very nice, had a tire leaking air, was not able to be patched due to the location of the leak, didn't have my tire size in stock , but helped me locate a place that did. Would not let me pay him for his time. A truly good, honest business

Very nice man, helps me to identify my engine problem and was honest about what could be done and how i should save my money, then filled up my coolant told me it was free of charge. From our brief interaction he seems like a genuine person i plan to go back.
