This guys are the best! They know what they doin! Got hands on super quick and the car was up and running really nice! Also, they give you an insurance for the parts they had to buy.

Saved our butts! Had to get a tow on Presidents Day and drop the car late after they were closed. James was able to get us a working part and our car back on the road within almost an hour of opening the next day for a fair price. Thank you!!!

They are good services but their price is pretty high they qouted me for one side wheel bearing of the old van more than $500 excluded tax.

The passenger side window of our 2005 Honda element suddenly fell into the door while we were driving through Arches NP. West Auto was one of the only shops that picked up the phone. He called around to make sure they had the part and had us in and out same day. He also was able to give us a quote over the phone which I appreciated. Cost $300 for parts and labor which was around what I expected. Truly a life saver as we re on a road trip and our car is our home for the time being. Quick, easy and professional. We travel full time in our 27ft toy hauler. Before visiting West Auto, we've visited two shops about our premature inside tire wear on the rear axle tires. Both shops tried to scam me in thinking the axle was bent. One shop wanted to charge me $1700 to replace rear axle and install (new axle online is $230. Explain that one.). We declined immediately.Move forward to West Auto. James immediately stuck his head under the trailer, and says, "I believe the axle is not bent, look at the alignment of the axle, to the backing plate and then finally the tires. Some of your wheels are not tightened all the way down."Less than 1 hr of work, he lifted and tighten 3 out of for wheels. Thank you James for being helpful and honest!! Absolutely one of the best repair experiences I ve had in a decade of traveling across the country. Their honesty came through from the first phone call, and even more so when I met them in person. The upfront transparency about how to make the repair more affordable by picking up the parts myself was appreciated. The labor prices were reasonable, and the turn around was fast! Everyone working there seemed to really enjoy the work with passion.

They were able to squeeze us in between scheduled repairs for an unexpected car emergency . We called so many shops who turned us away but Joe said he d squeeze us in. He ordered the part we needed, someone delivered it quickly, and he took care of us as soon as he had a minute. Overall great experience. Professional, kind, reasonably priced.

It was a holiday I need the oil and they had it it was right on I love them out of town in Moab however great guy I especially love the turkey that was there no I did not eat it but he was so beautiful he should never be ate yikes !! Two beautiful thank you very much West Auto

Stopped here to change some break pads on our road-trip, Jair was super helpful and very nice. You can tell he cares about the customers and takes pride in what he does. highly recommend this little shop. He works quick and will do his best to get you in and on your way.

This is what they did to my transmission cooling line and deny doing it. Joe West was threatening me. His son was screaming and yelling at me denying he did that. Told me to leave Moab. I wasn't welcome there and to go back to Oregon. Very rude. Threatened me. Police were involved. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR JUNK YARD

Broke down with a bad fuel pump at Canyon lands NP. After a long wait and a tow no one would work on a van. But we were rescued by Jair and company. Where we made new friends and got back on the road. They may be a small shop but they were hero s to me and my daughter on a trip across the country during a pandemic.

We had eto replace our front caliper and front brake pads of our car.We did really appreciate their flexibility with fitting us in so last minute but we did not appreciate them high balling us for the labor and parts.They asked 150 dollars per hour for labor. Which is a lot. It seemed like they were trying to use the fact that we were young and knew that our car was our home to their advantage.They were nice and friendly but wouldn t recommend due to the price and how expensive they were.Service: Brakes

We were visiting Moab when my Jeep front wheel bearings needed replacement. This shop was the only shop who could get us in the next day. The guy on the phone- Jer- was awesome. He ordered the parts and called me back to confirm he would have them in the morning, without any deposit or credit card. I got there early, and he was open. I told him the bearing heat may have damaged the brakes so if they need replacement go right ahead. Took my jeep right in and got to work. he called me around 2pm and said pick it up. And although he could have hit me up for brakes he said he just cleaned them up and they were fine. We were back on the roads of Moab that afternoon! And the price was right- probably cheaper than I could get it done at home. Don't be discouraged by the looks of the place- they will get it done right and for a good price.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I told west auto to just give me a diagnosis on the vehicle I bought and got a call saying I did all these things to your vehicle and the work is all done without any type of quote or authorization. I asked for the work to be undone because I was not prepared to pay for whatever amount he was going to give me. Shady practices. ACTUALLY ILLEGAL. After this experience I have heard from at least a dozen other people that they have done this to them too!! Do NOT go here.

After stopping at several shops in Moab for a urgent suspension repair on my Jeep and being told they were to busy, I pulled into West Auto Repair and Sales. Jair West the owner said he would with me momentarily. A few minutes later he looked at the situation and said let's roll it up on the rack. A hour later I was done and he did a first class job at a reasonable price. Both times I've come to West Auto,power steering and a bracket for my transfer case cable. They've got me in fast,real friendly guys. I highly recommend this place. Was going to wait till I got back home to get the A/C looked at,but I'd rather have these guys look at it,then find a place at home,that is good as this place.

This guy really came through for us. We had a broken LCA on our 4Runner that left us pretty much unable to drive the car. That happened on Saturday and a new part wouldn t be available until Tuesday. The owner picked up the part from the auto parts store when it came in, fixed our car, drove down to get an alignment from Point S (shout out to them too), picked us up from our nearby hotel we had to stay at and had us out the door all in about 3 hours on Tuesday. He literally saved us after being stuck in Moab after 4 days. He did the job when no one else would (or was open). Thank you so much!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

I gave 5 stars for honesty. My 2003 Chevy Trailblazer was making chirping noises from the rear wheel. I stopped at West Auto and asked if they could take a look. They had some time, so I drove it in, they lifted it up and called me in to take a look right away. There was badly rusted rear break drums. They let me know it was not worth sinking the money into fixing it and let me go on my way without any charge. Sometimes the truth hurts but dishonesty could've hurt a lot worse. Thanks guys.

The guys came thru for me. Driving thru from FL and my brakes needed help. They fit me in immediately and literally had me back on the road in about an hour. Replaced front brakes and rotors. Great guys. Fairly priced, friendly, efficient. Were I local, I would use regularly. Thanks guys.

Jair took care of me in a very desperate situation. My frame was literally falling apart where my steering rack and sway bar mount. I was stuck in moab (not a bad place to be stuck at all) until I could find someone willing to work on it. Nobody was, except for West Auto. Jair and his father knocked my frame repair out in 5 hours and for a great price! Can't thank them enough... 5 star service. Couldn't recommend them more!

I went to West Auto in order to get my safety inspection done. Since my front brake pads were done they replaced them. Being home again I've been not happy about the price and the bill so I went back and complained about it. I really behaved bad and inappropriate but they still were nice and explained everything to me in detail. I was the one who was wrong! I really appreciate how they took the time for me without losing patience. Very human and authentic people - if I ever have a car problem in Moab again I will defenitely go there.

Ahhhhh! I was desperate for help and I came into the shop and immediately got an answer to solve the problems with my jeep! 30 minutes later and my jeep is completely fixed!! Such amazing people and SO talented! I 10000% recommend

The guys here at West Auto are spectacularly qualified but even more than that they truly care about their customers. I have been traveling around the country in a diesel bus and my transmission blew. These guys did everything they possibly could to meet my budget and time frame and every inconvenience to them. They work hard, they work well, and they work to help you out.

So so helpful, we had no idea what was wrong with the car. Broke down in arches, fixed in a day, he went out of his way to make sure the car was still good to go the next day when a few errors came back on (for free). Very fast and quite cheap.

The only place in town that would see us on short notice...we were heading south pulling a small camper. Car battery died once, then again, and again. Within seconds the owner told us the battery cable was loose, and we were on our way. Thanks so much. Much success in your business!

I took my van to them, to only diagnose a window switch electric problem. I was replacing the window regulator myself, so I had the door panel apart and that job 2/3 done, making their job much much easier. They called me to say they could not fond the problem, so I went to p/u; when I got there they said they had found the problem, AND had finished the regulator job, and charged me hundreds of dollars on an 1hr MAX diagnose-ONLY authorization.Don't let all their Masonic Square & Compasses fool you--let them warn you: they are shysters at best, and will screw you like every other modern Freemason. (& am I scared of retribution from them in this small town? Yes.)

We lost power in the RV. Got a jump and went to West Auto. I cannot say enough nice things about the fast, friendly, efficient service. Quickly diagnosed, part delivered quickly, and very reasonable charge! Highly recommend!
