We needed a quick tow out of the mud with our big RV - and they did an incredible job. They got here in just 15 minutes and helped instantly. Their prices were not only super fair, they were also the cheapest option we found. Very friendly and nice guys that you should give a call if you need a helping hand with your vehicle problems!

Matt saved me. My Rubicon had a serious issue with two of the wheels, threatening not only our long-planned weekend but my trip home. Matt was very prompt, professional, quickly diagnosed the issue, gave me advice, did a SOLID repair, and I was on the trails again about an hour after he finished repairing my jeep in my driveway. He is the best, I wish he was located where I live.

They really helped me out in an urgent situation when I found myself stuck on the road. They came to assess my vehicle right away and later replaced a failed suspension component right where I was at, which is kickass, and also saved me an expensive tow. They do a great service that is needed in Moab. I feel good knowing these guys are in town to help if something goes wrong. Very cool that they will help you even if you re out on a trail.

Matt just stopped by, he came right to our apartment. I had been working doubles all week and hadn t had a had a chance to look under the hood myself. Turns out it was a super easy fix, and he didn t even charge us! 5 minutes later he was gone, will definitely be calling him again.

Good to have an honest mechanic in town, these days. Matt came by and gave us the low down on what we needed to fix, and got the Altima started and running again. Better than taking your cars to a shop and getting charged some mad money. Thanks!

Fifth wheel RV lost 1 of 4 tires when traveling 191 South of Moab UT, axle was unusable from bearing failure. Matt from Mobile Mechanic was soon on site gathering measurements for replacement parts and assisted our moving the damaged RV to off road BLM temporary camping until items needed were in hand days later. Our repaired RV is now in better condition than it was before the bearing failure.

Matt is my go to mechanic in Moab. He is highly knowledgeable and knows how to get a job done with confidence due to his many years of experience. He is kind, accommodating and always willing to help someone in need. I ve heard so many stories of all the crazy recoveries he s helped both locals and tourists out of in and around Moab. He s your guy for general issues, big jobs, and even going the extra mile to help if you get stuck in the middle of the desert with no way out. When in doubt, Matt will be the one person in Moab to help you out and for that I think he s the best mechanic in town.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Here s the BLUF1) Will come to where you are2) Gets the job done3) Provides options for solutions4) Outstanding rates5) Supports Veterans!!!This review is long overdue here but I ve already shared my story with my Jeep club buddies in Discord and on Reddit.When I broke down at a campsite in Moab on a Friday late afternoon, I knew my chances of getting into a shop was zero-to-none-whatsoever. I still called around and two out of maybe 4 shops I was able to even get phone picked up laughed. So I asked my Jeep forum and Discord groups for a mechanic and it was almost unanimous that I need to contact Moab Mobile Mechanic. Matt from Moab Mobile answered and we were able to schedule service. All I had to do was flip my family s trip to Arches visit on this trip and next day my Jeep was fixed!So let me continue story about Matt from others that have not written a review here. A good family friend, months before my trip, on his family trip across the U.S. broke down at another campground in Moab and because it was an RV, he was striking out on a mechanic til he called Moab Mobile Mechanic. Matt showed up and fixed his RV and my buddy was on his way to the next destination. Matt probably didn t know this but my buddy has stage 3 cancer and no way in shape to be fixing RV in 100F+ weather. TBH, that trip with his family was their just-in-case trip Matt saved their trip and minimized stress.The cherry on top? I told him that we were also going out to Elephant Hill backcountry and he offered for me to call him before we headed out and call back when we got back out by certain date/time. If he hadn t heard from me by that time, he d come drive out to the backcountry to fix/recover my Jeep!I highly recommend Moab Mobile Mechanic!

We are driving an RV with my 6 kids from Philly to the Grand Canyon. My check engine light turns on. A quick google search says it could be a minor or major problem. Called him, he said come on over as he had other vehicles being worked on.The guy in front of me explained his repair needs then Matt said to me I can get your RV in an hour. He was prompt. Pulled my rig in and reset the check engine light with the great news that I probably used some bad gas.I was gone in minutes. We broke down in Moab early yesterday morning. Matt came this morning to rescue us! If I could give him a 10 star review I would. He gave honest, solid advice, and when we knew a tow would be expensive he towed us for a great price an hour and a half away. He didn t waste our time with unknowns and gave a solution with our family of 4 stuck far away from home. I would recommend his service to anyone I knew that had issues in the area. If there's one thing Marvel movies have taught us is that heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Matt has the bedside manner of the Hulk, the technical prowess of Tony Stark, and the integrity of Captain America. We had an amazing week in Moab when on Thanksgiving, our radiator exploded. Turns out Moab is like the worst place in the country to have your car breakdown over holiday weekend, as all the mechanics in town (except Matt) are off for the weekend. He had us tow our car to his place, he quickly diagnosed the issue, and informed us it'd be 1-2 weeks to source a new radiator. We ended up renting a car and driving home to Montana, leaving our car in Matt's possession. On the drive home, I was like, "what have I done" ... I couldn't believe I left our family car with some random guy in the middle of the desert. But Matt turned out to be awesome to work with--quickly sourced the part, did the repair, stayed in constant contact, and charged a very reasonable fee for his services. I came down the following week and picked up the car and drove back home again. Every now and then life's circumstances force you to trust a stranger and you just hope you made the right decision trusting that person . . . . He is amazing!! Call him if you re having any problems with your vehicle while in Moab! Our truck that we pulled our trailer down to Moab was having problems. My van had died up in the mountains and Matt was great for giving me a tow back to town. He gave me some great suggestions how to get the ole girl running again. The man obviously knows his craft. He not only brings the right equipment but a fantastic attitude. %100 recommend this company if you re in a jam.

My RV brake lights, turn signals and hazard lights quit working. Matt got here as quickly as he could. He immediately checked all the fuses. Found two blown under the hood. Replaced those and checked that all was working. Also, had me pull my tow car close enough to check the electrical hook ups. Found some corrosion at the vehicle end of the umbilical. Cleaned the coiled wire end real good as well as the auto plug, then placed dielectric grease on both ends. He was kind enough to leave me with a few extra fuses and showed me their positions in the under hood fuse box. He was friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him for your emergency vehicle service needs.Service: Electrical repair

Contacted Matt to check on my Dad s Jeep which had died in his driveway instead of a tow. Matt promptly responded, diagnosed the problem, and helped get my Dad s Jeep running again. Matt saved our weekend and vacation! We had a diagnostic light come on in our Fort Explorer on Labor Day and he was the only mechanic available to take a look and see what was wrong. He provided extensive information, used every resource he had to find the part we needed and gave us the assurance to continue our trip home. My clutch failed on my way to Moab, managed to limp into town. Matt the Moab Mobile Mechanic got me back on the road in no time. He even washed my filthy truck before bringing it back. Matt, sorry it took a year for me to do this.Matt came to the campground April of 2021 and did a brake job on our truck in the rain. When additional parts were needed he stopped working and went to the auto parts store, picked up the additional parts and came back and finished the job. Very reasonable rates, and very professional job.Highly recommend Matt if you need help in Moab

Can't say enough great things about Matt! We had a crazy situation where a boot got stuck in the sliding door of our van. Matt was so sweet and able to help us right away! Got a flat in Moab over labor day weekend. It was Saturday I had already been up there for a couple days and I needed to get back to salt lake but both the tire shops close at noon and told me they didn't have time and I would have to wait until Tuesday. I was pretty stressed out, I tried calling every mechanic in town no one was available. So I called mobile mechanic he was busy helping other people but he said he could meet me at my vehicle at two. He showed up early fixed my flat in like 5 minutes. I also thought his rates were very reasonable , and I like the mechanic he was super cool. He helps a lot people in that area when they break down. He saved my weekend I didn't want to get stuck in Moab for three extra days waiting on a tire shop

Matt is nothing short of awesome. My car broke down in Moab coming up on a holiday. He diagnosed what was happening essentially at the road side, expedited getting the part it needed, worked over the holiday to fix the car, and went above and beyond helping me coordinate getting the vehicle home. Had a radiator blow late on a Friday night. Towing co. gave props to this place. Had the truck towed here and left a phone message. They checked it out Saturday and told me the issue and time to fix. I gave the ok to fix and it was done on time. Mind you, I have a Honda Ridgeline which isn't seen much here or anywhere besides at a Honda dealer. When I was in Moab, I ran into a problem with a 4WD camper van that I was traveling in. Another shop referred me to Matt, who was SUPER nice and helpful.
