Awesome shop and staff!! I had a little accident with my muffler on the trails, and Jade was super helpful when I called in letting me know if they could take care of it. When I showed up, someone came right out to say hello and asked how he could help me. When I showed him the damage, he had me back my truck up to the bay and him and 2 other guys came over and fixed it right there in under 10 minutes. They were all very friendly and super quick. I think from the time I showed up to when I left was under 30 minutes total.I really appreciate how quick they got me back on the road, and how easy and communicative everyone was. I especially liked how friendly everyone was, as it can be stressful sometimes getting repairs done, but I felt like they were there to genuinely help me. The price was also VERY fair and less than I was expecting based on what google was quoting me.This will definitely be my go-to shop when I m in town if I have any future issues! I highly recommend them if you have any issues come up on or off the trails. Thanks for all your help!

We broke down in Moab with a completely worn tire. Not even an hour after I called "Mechanics now", someone came, took a lot of time, gave professional advice and organized and carried out the repair in no time at all. We were able to continue our journey to the east coast without any problems. Thank you very much!

These guys are the first shop that I've had the pleasure of paying alot for some mechanical work on my vehicle in quite some time, but at least they do good work and in the time frame that they quoted me and best of all at the price that they gave me B4 beginning on the work, actually less Bcuz they comped me the diag fee of $30 to troubleshoot it so in that sense I am pleased with the results all around. Best mechanic experience I ve ever had. We were hauling a trailer from Canada to New Mexico and the bearing went out on my trailer wheel. 5pm on a Friday right after they closed I called them, explained my situation. They said they d stay open and help me out. They were able to replace the bearing and 2 tires in less than an hour. They were really friendly and professional and got me back on the road to my destination. If they hadn t stayed late to help us out, we would have been stranded in Moab all weekend. I cannot thank Mechanic Now for their services enough. We were in a pinch and needed help so we could get back to our lives. We brought them an old car that needed a lot of repairs. They understood the situation and worked as quickly as possible to get us back on the road. When they found a new problem with the car and could not get the part they needed in for about a week we were really down. They recognized our situation and worked way past closing to get our car on the road. They stand by their work and they work until the job is done so people like us can continue our lives and not be stuck. Thank you Mechanic now!

We needed an oil change for our rental car on our family vacation roadtrip.While most mechanics in Moab claimed they were too busy, and said we needed to leave the car for the full day, Mechanics Now was ready to help us and we were in and out in 45 minutes.The manager/owner was extremly nice to us.

Our check engine light came on right in the middle of a cross country move. They were incredibly helpful from checking to see if they had the part we needed and letting us know where we might find it when they didn t. My husband arrived about an hour ish before they closed for the week and they had it fixed before 5. They helped him unhook and reattach the uhaul, too. I d give them more stars if we could. They really saved us from a nightmare hauling two kids and two pets. Thanks so much!

We were vacationing in Moab for a day and had multiple issues with our truck, which was only vehicle and base camp. Mechanics Now a wonderful company. They helped me find a rental and took care of replacing a water pump, vacuum pump, and alternator in 24 hours. I arrived at a good time of day, but they stuffed my family into their already full schedule. They were concerned not only with fixing our car, but that all of us were comfortable during our troubles and wait. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Tourists beware! Sleezy shop.My car blew a spark plug, so I had my car towed in. The mechanic gave me a rough verbal estimate to fix, which I told him was OK. He promised to send the official quote the next morning. He did not. I called around noon, and the service writer hung up on me. He then sent a quote for nearly twice the original amount, and before I had a chance to respond, he did the repair.I came in the next day to get the car and had to argue with them to get the bill down to close to what I had approved. When I got in the car, it ran very badly (had been running perfectly before). I diagnosed the issue as a very obviously cracked vacuum line that took me about 3 minutes to repair. He had just put it back on despite it being broken because he didn't care.The car ran fine for about 600 miles before the repaired spark plug blew out again. I write this stranded on the side of the road in a remote part of Montana. Do not use these people. They will scam you and overcharge for substandard work as long as they think you will make it far enough away from them before it breaks again.

Charly and his team are amazing. We were visiting Moab when our vehicle had a major issue. Long story short, they rushed the repair and the price was incredibly reasonable. Very friendly, trustworthy, and affordable.

I brought my car to this place, knowing the issue was with my transmission I just couldn't figure out what. The first quote I got was for 1200 couple days went by then I got another one that said 1400 couple more days went by it was 1600 mind you they didn't even have my car yet. I go in to give them the keys an car. They have me sign the pad, I payed for half the work upfront. They don't give me anything to read over before signing it. I think nothing of it because I was told "it's just a receipt". They print it out. I got home. I pay attention and read the whole thing through and realize there's a disclaimer on there that they didn't bother to mention. They get to working on my car. They say the part doesn't fix the problem. I'm also told that metal flakes were in my transmission oil. They don't take the time to call me to come look at it or Send me a picture for proof. So i tell them to take the new part off. Im charged for oil and refund me the remainder of the $600 I had put down. They charge me for transmission oil, but my vehicle still wouldn't shift so for six months, my vehicle sat. A friend of ours runs into the same issue with their car. Turns out it just needed transmission oil, so I go out buy 6 quarts of transmission oil lo and behold. My car starts to run just fine so what was I charge $200 for?

Where to even start .DO NOT GO HERE. I paid these guys almost $1,000 to replace my manifold gaskets. It was done WAY under the quoted time, but guess what? It was never fixed correctly and just a couple months later I m back. After having another more reputable shop do some exhaust work and leak check the whole system. Deeming the gaskets still the source of the leak. Except this time I m made to feel dishonest about it, as if I was making it up and charged additional shop time to fix what they didnt do right the first time. On top of that they damaged an antennae on my vehicle and denied it.

We were in a Uhaul pulling a trailer when the trailer got a busted stem/flat tire. We were moving across the country and we had no clue what to do, when Marco showed up at the shop to help us replace all 4 stems. Cannot get this kind of service anywhere else! It was a miracle and the price was great!

The whole team (from the shop to the office personnel ) at Mechanics Now were all very friendly, have great sense of humor, quick to respond and even stayed after hours to get the repairs in order. Thank you guys for your patience with Dennis and I and our urgency to get our truck repaired. You guys are a great asset to Moab. We d highly recommend your business. Thank you Jade and Charlie for sharing your love and story of your pet rabbit Oreo. He s a very lucky rabbit. You truly touched my heart and gave me comfort when I needed it after losing my rabbit Oreo the day before.. God Bless you Mechanics Now crew are good people!

We had a leak in our cooling system and had to stay in Moab longer than we planned. All the shops in town were closed for the New Year s holiday weekend. I happen to walk past the Mechanics Now Repair Shop in Moab when I saw a mechanic wrenching on a vehicle. I approached the Mechanic Marco and told him my situation, he was very kind. He gave me a ride back to my Airbnb and assessed the problem with our vehicle. I ordered the part and the next day he picked me up to get the part drove me back and installed it on site. Without his kindness we would be stranded for a while. Very friendly and great priced. Next time I am back in town I will stop by and say hi.Thank you Marco.

We got a flat tire on our trip and this was the only place that didn't have a 5 hour wait. They got everything fixed quickly and we were back on the road in no time. Everyone there is friendly and experienced. Great place, highly recommend.

They got me in right away and diagnosed/corrected my electrical issue methodically and quickly. They even stayed a bit after closing to help me out. Highly recommend this shop! Other shops in town were stating 1 to 2 weeks before they could see me, but Mechanics Now were sensitive to the fact that I was to leave town and drive back to Michigan in 3 days. They were reasonably priced too. What more can you ask for?

We were on an RV trip with our Jeep. Our jeep brakes failed and we needed someone to help get us back on road quickly. We took the jeep in and they found the issue but no parts were avail in Moab so they ordered the part and we went back the next day and they got it repaired and we were back on the road. Mechanics NOW is exactly what they are! They were great to work with and a price that was reasonable. HIGHLY recommend them!

I could not have had a better experience! My only regret is that Mechanics Now is not in my hometown where it's difficult to find a competent, trustworthy, and fair mechanic. These guys were all of the above. They won me over with this single visit. If I lived here (or had issues while here) I would go to them for all my vehicle's needs. So if you're reading this and need a mechanic, look no further. This is the place.My story: I was having an issue with my 2019 RAM Promaster (noise from a bad alternator pulley). Despite an obviously busy schedule, these guys were able to get me in quickly (the next day) and then solve the issue in a timely fashion while I literally waited in my van.To cap it off, the price they charged for the work was absolutely more than fair (and extremely appreciated).They definitely earned a 5 star review for such a great experience.

Emma and the folks at the Mechanics now shop are awesome! We were traveling through Moab back to Texas and had a cooling system connection blowout on us late Friday evening. These guys had us back on the road the next day at a very affordable price! Emma even dropped us off at a local hotel for the night. You dont find that kind of customer service very often. Worse mechanic shop ever!!!!! Does not take responsibility or accountability for their mistakes. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this location to get your vehicle worked on for any matter. Regardless of timing I feel like any mechanic shop should take accountability for their mess up on your vehicle and if they don't want to pay the full amount at least half or try to compromise. This is not the place.

My son's CVT transmission went out in Moab when driving from our home in Minneapolis to college in Phoenix. They patiently allowed him to keep his car at their shop while contemplating options. After determining that it would be most cost effective to replace the vehicle, Emma, one of the owners, helped us find a local buyer for my son's car. I left Hells Revenge (a local off road trail) with a clicking sound coming from my front tire area. I called multiple shops in town & ALL OF THEM where booked up for days & I needed to get back on the road ASAP. Then someone recommended Mechanics now. I called, spoke to Charley & he said bring it in. Within 10 minutes of getting there he had my truck lifted & the problem pinpointed. He brought me out to the shop for me to see it with my own eyes, a bad CV joint. Thankfully a local supplier had the part in stock. Charley & his guys installed it & 2 hrs later I was back up and running! These guys are fast & got me turned around THE SAME DAY! Also, it's a family owned biz between Charley & his partner & their wives who work the reception desk, I love that! I even got to meet Charley Junior, the cutest little boy ever! Anyway, if speed, quality & a fair price is what you need, this is the place!

Mechanics now got me in the same day when I got stranded in Moab with engine issues. They got me in and out in 4 hours despite being super busy saving the day a lot of other travelers. They were professional and knowledgable and let me and my mom know about a free shuttle into town. Fair pricing and friendly folks.

I was passing through town far away from my normal mechanic at home. I needed brakes and an oil change. They squeezed me in with no notice right at the end of the day and even stayed late! They're amazing! I needed an emergency oil change and we couldn't find any place and had already been driving for 2 hours. I came to the door and a note said " Fully Booked Sorry for the Inconvenience" and just as I started towards my car A WOMAN CAME OUT!(Obviously no guarantee that they can do this every time but...)It was 5:40PM on a Friday and she said give me a sec and came back and said they would do it! We are so thankful as we still have a very long journey and this would've put us so far behind.Not only did they take us they were also so kind and understanding. They had snacks and water and we are just so grateful!Thank you so much for taking us! Highly recommend this location!

I d give 10 stars if I could! My son was on a time sensitive hot-shot run and had an oil leak on Friday night. Saturday morning, we couldn t find anything open. Well these guys were open! They found the problem and fixed it as quickly as possible. Very fair price! He could have easily been stuck until Monday and late on his delivery. He could have easily been ripped off by someone taking advantage of his situation. This place treated him right. Thanks for great service and honesty. It�s one of the few times I am writing a review, but I wanted to thank Emma H. and the crew of Mechanics Now for their tremendous efforts. Our car broke down around Moab, and their FCFS policy on Saturday allowed us to be helped out. Their service was fast and reasonably priced (I got a new fuel injector). It is an understatement to say they live up to their promises; they go way beyond in thinking with/for their clients resulting in the vast quantity of people that come for their services. These guys actually care about people like they're their own family. I not only had a great experience but saw them help 2 people with honest diagnostics when they could've tried for more money. I got steering gaskets, u joints for my drive shaft, emergency brake tightened up, and tie rods replaced. All for much less than a dealership and they showed me everything before during and after. I got a great deal and I feel like Charly and George would be good friends of mine because of their character alone if I weren't from Florida.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brake service & repair
