Viking Automotive has consistently delivered phenomenal service. The staff really cares about providing quality service and helping their customers. I have recommended them to family, friends, and co-workers. I can honestly say I trust them and value their advice. There are a lot more adventures waiting for us because of the care they have taken with our vehicles! I have always been pleased with the level of service and professionalism of Viking Auto. They are knowledgeable, fair on their pricing, and honest. As a single woman I've never been talked down to. The explanations are concise and on point. I appreciate also the ability to schedule appointments and they keep their estimated time frames of completion. They even follow up to ensure the work provided is satisfactory and that the car is running perfectly. They are, in a word, great to work with!

I started going here a few years ago. They are very thorough and listen to your concerns. They follow up with a fair and honest assessment of what needs to be repaired. They even tell you if something doesn't need to be repaired and that it was a simple fix. They are honest, friendly, and very informative. There's a great bunch of people there who are trustworthy I would recommend them to anyone.

From start to finish, these guys are top notch!! Why I choose them, was the conversation I had with Clayton on the phone. It spoke volumes!! He explained everything, and took his time like I was the only one who needed his help. I m a girl, I m not to savy with vehicles. When I took my car in, they all took the time to explain everything I needed to know. Even broke it down for me. I had my transmission fluid changed. They showed me what it currently looked like (which was trash), and what it was suppose to look like. These guys treated me with nothing but kindness!! I can t recommend them enough!! Thank you so much for everything, my car runs like a dream.

The guys at Viking are great to work with. Both Trevor and Clayton did everything to help me in a difficult situation with my truck. Super friendly and helpful in figuring out the best thing to do. And did so very quickly. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs repairs done.

Came here after the Honda dealership gave me a list repairs that needed to be made. The repairs were overly expensive and out of my budget. These guys were awesome and able to do the repairs for a much better price. The service was also amazing, they went through the full list of repairs I needed and explained them to me. Which was much appreciated. Will definitely be coming back here again for anything car related.

I couldn't be happier with my service. Super honest and straight forward. I love how they give you the options to what you want or need done and explain it in normal terms. This is the beginning of a great relationship that is hard to find in the automotive repair business.

I ve known the guys at Viking for 6+ years but haven t been in for almost 4 years. When I went in today to have my brakes checked I was surprised to see that Clayton not only remembered me but also my brother who wasn t even with me. He started talking to me like we were old friends and it made me feel like he really valued me as a person and not just a pay check which is incredibly rare these days. I came to see them all the way from Springville because I know I can trust them, they do excellent work and they treat me with respect and dignity. I would and do recommend Viking automotive to everyone.

We took our car to them right before we bought it for a pre purchase inspection. They were willing to work with the time we had and were very honest in their assessment. Because of their transparency and honest feedback we were able to have a clear picture for what we d were about to purchase.Great customer service as well as thorough work!

These guys were awesome! I had a headlight issue I needed resolved. They got me in quick and went to work right as I got there. They worked on it and got me to a much better place than it was before and the price was incredibly reasonable. They ve definitely won my business

Brought my car here to get it diagnosed, and they got to it and had everything prepared so quick. Had to tow my car off the property because of the issues, but these guys were beyond patient and understanding. Took me several days before I could get it moved, and yet they still remained very professional and patient. Great place to go. Highly recommend.

Steven is really great to work with. He represents the companies values in being honest, professional and straight forward. I did some shopping around before coming here to have my breaks replaced. I ve been here a couple other times after that for regular maintenance as well. Fair prices and reliable service. Pleased with the work they do.

I've been to Viking Auto a couple times. The first time I had been told I needed some very spendy repairs by another auto shop. Viking took a look and told me everything was fine. Repairs weren't needed. And they didn't charge me anything to look at it. The next was for an oil change and tire rotation. I had another concern I had them look at and they advised the sound was normal no repairs needed. The oil change and tire rotation was reasonably priced, they are good at communicating and I trust that they won't do unnecessary work.Service: Oil change

Jeep SRT had gone out on the highway seemed like the alternator fried itself and battery was no good! Got it towed to another shop to have it looked.. after a few days they said that it would be some computer damage and a specialist would need to look at it and unfortunately that was a service they couldn't provide. I looked around and saw great reviews with Viking so I called them, had it towed to them and they told me it alternator and battery were fried.. they changed those out and I had my car back within 2 days. Clayton contacted me with every update with my car. I have an appointment tomorrow coming up and am at peace knowing I can depend on these professionals!

They were fantastic to work with, very transparent and honest with everything. They added photos and videos explaining what was going on. We had misfiring cylinders with a tricky diagnostic, I don t regret going there. I ll be back

Was new to Salt Lake area and just saw these guys online. Went and haven't looked back. Great service, honest service, very fair pricing. These are my guys 100%. Sometimes they don't even charge a labor fee if it's a real small thing. You need a mechanic you can trust above all, these guys have earned my trust.

Super nice and super easy to work with. Tech savvy. Runs by appointment and runs on time. Love it.I m from CA. That alone is sometimes a reason for people to not treat me nicely or to take advantage of me. Not this place. My car will need work before I go back to CA. I m taking it to these folks. These folks are Topnotch. Steve went above and beyond to make sure he got me scheduled not only quickly, but also with no wait time. Despite them having a full lot and bays! I feel the service was honest and reasonably priced. I won't take my car anywhere else going forward. Thank you Viking!

My car broke down and we had it towed to Viking for a diagnostic. They were so nice to let us keep the car there while we found another vehicle. These guys are the best and so helpful! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Do not come here. Car battery died, they tried to give me the most expensive option w/o giving any other options. Got a cheaper option and now the battery has died only after a year. Pretty sure they put an old battery in my car. Only need to be burned once to know the stove is hot. Never again

They got me in immediately and fixed the lower control arms on my Suburu. Definitely got a fair price and excellent customer service, I also got my vehicle the same day which was crucial and I didn t even have to ask. I will drive out of my way to go to this shop! Don t forget to say hi to Thor!!

We love Viking. They ve always been honest with us and never try to sell us anything we don t really need. In fact they ve even let us know when a needed repair is something we can do ourselves. It s a great feeling when you have a mechanic you can trust.

The staff at Viking are very helpful and friendly. They also are honest, and very specific when it comes explaining what is wrong with your vehicle. Clayton the general manager will give you options about the repairs. These guys earned more stars than allowed. I have a high performance vehicle made by Dodge and had some what seemed to be electrical issues with the car. Dodge Dealership looked at my car 5 different times before they told me to come pick the car up because they had no idea how to work on their very own manufactured vehicle? WHICH they left my vehicle outside in the rain and had water spots all over my carbon fiber hood staining it. long story short the car wasn t able to pass through emissions due to the electrical issue ,therefor, not allowing me to enjoy driving this vehicle. I searched and searched and search for multiple days trying to find a company trustworthy enough to work on this super car and knowingly how to work on this muscle car, which no one dude unfortunately m Long behold Viking Automative came into play by a referral from one of my employees. Right off the bat talking with Steven with Vikings over the phone he knew a lot about the vehicle and was very knowledgeable eternally. I told him my issue with the car and told me to bring it in THAT day (after picking it up from Dodge). Took my car over there to find out the Owner himself was going to work on the vehicle. The quality of time, patience, and care they did for me was outstanding! They not only fixed the issue Dodge couldn t even figure out, but they treated that car as if it was his very own. Respected the car and really took his time to go through it with care. Found the issue which was a module sensor in the car that was draining it and killing the car. I had over 33 modules in that car and he went through each sensor 1 by 1 until eventually finding the bad one A LOT of time spent. Not a lot of mechanics would even try to deal with the headache, but these guys did. I ll definitely be giving referrals to everyone I know to them. VERY reasonable too! I really appreciate all the hard work you guys pulled through to allow me to drive this car again, so thank you!! Give these guys a shot you won t regret it!

I brought my van in on Friday to get an oil change and have the brake pads and rotors replaced. On the way home I immediately noticed a very loud clicking noise that got faster as I sped up and slower as I slowed down. After an hour of further inspection, this noise was the entire wheel coming loose from the car because the lug nuts on the rear driver's side wheel were barely hand tight! 3 of the six lug nuts came off with the plastic cover, and the other 3 required minimum effort to remove. I attached a photo of what I found after I removed the plastic cover.Up until this point I was extremely happy with the service I had received here, but this is unacceptable. This negligence created an extremely dangerous situation, and I expect to hear back from them for a resolution as soon as they open on Monday.UPDATE: Clayton, the general manager called on Saturday and was extremely apologetic and generally in disbelief that a tech could have missed something this critical. I brought my car back in to have everything inspected to ensure nothing else was missed and there was no further damage. Clayton explained the procedures that are in place to ensure all vehicles leave in safe working condition, and was actively looking to learn and update policies based on this experience.Obviously this is not what I wanted to come out of a simple service, but Clayton's solution-oriented communication and genuine care raised this from a 1-star to 3-star review.
