Our experience with Marcello and Unique Auto Body Repair was seamless. We had what appeared to be a minor fender-bender with our 1997 Toyota 4Runner. After numerous call to body shops in the Salt Lake Valley being told every time they didn t work on vehicle that old a family member suggested we call Marcello who he had worked with on his 2020 Toyota Tacoma. Best advice ever. Marcello told us upfront they would look at the car and give us an estimate but warned us sourcing parts could take some time. He was correct about the parts. The truck was there about six weeks but we heard from Marcello at least once a week letting us know what was going on and when to expect the work to be finished. The car looks like it s brand new but required a new bumper and apron, new hood, new fender, new grill and head lights plus an A-arm and window washer nozzles. The new paint is a perfect match and they even cleaned up the interior which really surprised us.

Wow so happy with the work Unique Auto body did! My explorer was hit in a parking garage. Several people recommended Unique and I am so happy with the work they did. My car looks perfect and came back cleaner inside and out! It took a week and they communicated very well throughout. Justin was super helpful and knowledgeable. Very professional and personable. Enterprise of West Jordan will bring a rental car to you when you drop off at Unique then you can leave the rental there upon pick up. It makes the whole process so easy!

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Had a terrible experience with Unique Auto Body in Midvale. I came to this shop to fix my 2005 Acura that was involved in an accident. I dropped off my vehicle Sunday night and on Thursday , I got the okay to come get it. When my dad saw the car on Thursday, he noticed how terrible the paint job looked. He restores boats for living so he knows what a good paint job is. He noticed what looked like fish eye or contaminated paint. Unique first blamed it on the insurance not giving them enough time to do the job ( they had it for 4 days ) and then their next excuse was that the bumper was old ( I had my car completely repainted in April 2022 and they had no issues what s so ever ). Then they wanted to blame it on the old paint job not being done right. I absolutely loved the way my old paint job came out and I never once had issues with my paint. I get my car detailed and I would know if my paint had issues. They blamed it on everything besides their terrible work. 100% would not recommend. We had a family friend who had a repair shop come look at the job and he agreed that it was just terrible work. Luckily they did fix it but it was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Such a dishonest company.

I had a great experience with Unique Auto Body in Midvale. I worked with Spencer. He was efficient, friendly and I was kept informed about the progress of my repair. The work exceeded my satisfaction. When I picked up my Lexus, it was not only washed on the outside but also cleaned on the inside. I am very pleased and highly recommend Unique Auto Body in Midvale. I will definitely use them again and have referred family and friends. My sister is having her car fixed there now.

Brought my 2012 Porsche 911 in in early July 2021 after hitting a deer and it has now been 1 year and 2 months since my car entered the shop and last I've heard it will be another month at least. I thought for sure the car would be totaled but they assured me it could be fully repaired. To me taking more than a year to repair something should count as effectively totaled. Part of the delays have been supply chain issues (which I confirmed with Porsche - there are custom, made-to-order stuff that takes time), but my bigger concern is the shop has damaged the car further while it's been at the shop. They've messed up the roof rails twice so far, each time meaning a re-order and 3 or more weeks of waiting for new ones. They've re-painted nearly all of the car but then keep damaging the paint after the fact (including in places that weren't even part of the accident) and then have to re-paint it. The first time they said it was "good to go" (back in April 2022), there were numerous issues, including the rear wiper installed 90 degrees in the wrong place and the new custom-made headliner was damaged during its install! Since April 2022 they've removed and re-installed the front bumper and hood and now they're misaligned so need to be re-aligned. It's bad enough it takes so long to get parts, but then damaging those parts during the install is completely unacceptable. They seem very willing to keep fixing the car, but frankly they're just taking advantage of me at this point. There's a time value to money and this is a valuable vehicle. Every delay and mis-install affects the vehicle's value and they don't seem to care enough about that.Services: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

Two great experiences1. Collision repair on car bumper via insurance. They were able to begin an estimate right away, I didn't have to wait at all for them to take a look at my car. Several other places via insurance had wait times around 2-3 weeks just for the estimate. Everything was super duper easy, the guys were really nice and took care of everything without any complications. The repair itself was perfect. Super glad I chose this shop!2. Collision repair on rear panel of truck, self pay. Again, same day estimates and real friendly staff. Estimate was not the most expensive, not the cheapest but I think the quality certainly speaks for itself. The repair was absolutely perfect, and faster than we expected!Highly recommend. I'd definitely come here again if needed, and not bother looking anywhere else.

*****Update: The manager, Chad, at Unique really stepped up to remedy the situation. They did not replace the bumper but made it look much better, almost new. He was very understanding and apologetic about the way Justin handled the situation and made us feel better about the way we were treated. ******Absolutely, do not ever take your car to Unique Auto Body. I can't stress it enough. We were hit by a progressive customer only a few weeks of having our new car, and the first time we took it in, Justin treated us like a nuisance. He was rude, dismissive, and couldn't be bothered to hear our concerns. We picked up the car after it had been "fixed," according to Justin. We noticed they didn't line up the body lines on the rear quarter panel to match the door, so what they did fix they did not do well at all. We also noticed the bumper still had not been repaired, so we brought it back, and again, Justin was rude. He treated us like we were stupid. In more or less words implied, the broken bumper was from another accident and told us insurance would not cover it. After I told him I spoke with the insurance and they told me to bring it back, he was visibly annoyed and took the car back. They began work on the car after I asked them to please wait for the adjuster to inspect the bumper. They altered the bumper to look less damaged without actually fixing anything, so insurance would not cover it. He looked us in the eyes and lied directly to our faces in front of the adjuster and said they had not touched the bumper, although it was clean while the rest of the car was dirty. I don't know if Justin and all of Unique work together with insurance companies so they don't have to pay for damages that should be covered, or if Progresive gives kick bakcs to body shops for their dishonest, but I don't know what else would explain this absolutely obnoxious and unprofessional behavior. Do not ever take your car here unless you want to be worse off than before. My car is still at their shop, meaning it has spent far more time at the body shop than in my driveway, and I am still fighting the insurance to repair the damage their customer has done. It has been well over a month because Unique can not manage their business professionally or in an organized manner. It really should be simple to repair a 300 dollar bumper and a smashed door and quarter panel. It was only a small fender bender. If you are looking for a place to do body work, I would try West Valley Collison or Valley Collison in Draper. I have heard great things about both places. Justin at Unique Auto Body will lie and cheat you and treat you like you're an absolute idiot.

Very professional and competent. I was side swiped, and my Atlas needed two new doors and a rear quarter panel. It looks brand new, the door gaps and body line up perfectly. Unique understood that while it's routine for them, it's not for me, and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend using them.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Absolutely amazing experience. Had some body work done and 11 months later it peeled. Chad took care of it, no sweat. Picked it up and it had to be jumped, drove down the street to get groceries and came out to leave, car was completely dead again. Chad sent his guy to jump us again and stayed in contact making absolute share we were good after driving for another 30 minutes..... I can't think of another shop in the valley that would be this good to it's customers!

I originally got my bumper fixed here after someone hit me, and I called them up last week to get a quote to replace my headlights and replace the brake light bulbs for my car. I honestly couldn t be happier with how it came out and they did such an amazing job last time. I would highly recommend them if you need some work done or if you have little odd jobs for them to do!

Im incredibly grateful for how helpful this business and the employees are. Did a great job on my car door and got it done sooner then expected which made my life easier. They have helped me with talking to my insurance and getting all the information they need as well. This place is amazing. My husband wrecked our car and Unique was recommended to us by my gma. They made sure to keep us updated on everything, even when they had to take it to a mechanic to have some things fixed they couldn t do at the shop. We also had to bring it back and they brought it right in. They are nothing but nice every time we call. Won t go anywhere else. Chad is an awesome & helpful guy. Here s what the car looked like when they got it, now u can t even tell it was wrecked.

At first, it was not a good experience due to Justin treating us poorly and accusing us of lying. The manager Chad really stepped up to make things right and he disciplined Justin about the way he treated us. If it wasn't for Chad, I'd give 1 star. Chad is very professional and went above and beyond to remedy our situation.

Once my car was returned there were several issues, first the horrible paint job second the lights didn't work after them being "new", the door made a noise once opened because of the new bumper, and last the time! Representative quoted me 2 weeks it turned out to be 1 month. When I called about the paint job they said they would talk to my insurance what does the insurance have to do with the work, the insurance already paid???? Never would I do business here again. Rep was great work not so much.

Very nice and friendly shop they were able to give me a quote right on the spot and were able to get me in the shop fairly quickly there was an issue with a license plate light that was out but they got me in and fix it without an appointment and no additional charge. They even cleaned my car and was very shinny. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Overall great experience. Highly recommend this place.The only downside about this location is their parking availability.

Great service with reasonable turnaround windows. Plus, my car was returned with the best detailing it s had inside and out. The office has a cool retro vibe and is clean with friendly employees.I had to get some bodywork done on my back gate for a windshield replacement, and they gave me a quote for the bodywork v. a new gate. I asked about a used gate and we were able to come to a lower rate that was just a few hundred dollars more than the body work with a better guarantee for the windshield. There was some back and forth getting my lettering and emblem back in after the repaint, but it was complimentary and they were very communicative.

By far this collision center has no competition,everything was great with them.,Our Lexus is again like brand new,great ,great ,great customer service,very organized body shop,all the guys there are professionals,there s no reason to waste your time looking around,we are really happy that choose this guys,do the same,you will be fully satisfied! I used these guys 10 + years ago and had such a good experience I came back My wife s car was in a collision easy fix the insurance company only wanted to use aftermarket parts Unique told me they would put OEM parts back in it to make sure it looked right. We did not notice watermarks or tree sap that was on the car probably because it was not clean when we dropped it off.. We stopped by to pick it up and noticed the water marks in the paint and mentioned that we did not think it was there prior with and a few minor items that needed fixing from the accident and they went the extra mile to accommodate us our 4runner was so clean and in perfect condition when we picked it up We were amazed They also showed us pictures of the damaged parts that were removed and it was obvious there were spots on it when we dropped it off. I would recommend this shop to everybody and will definitely use these guys again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We had a minor issue with a bumper on our vehicle that required it to be repainted. Chad was fantastic to work with. We had the car in the shop and back to us within one week. The team here did an excellent job replacing the grille of my ES 350. I was able to get an estimate (same day), have the parts ordered, and scheduled a day for the swap within a week big kudos to them for also finishing the work within half the quoted time!When Larry H Miller Collision Center, a Lexus-certified collision center near the Lexus dealership, absolutely refused to work with me regarding their leave your car with us to stay parked and wait for two-or-more weeks until you can get it policy (in addition to waiting 3 weeks for parts to arrive and to schedule) I was very fortunate to find this gem of a shop that completed everything significantly faster at HALF the price.Thank you guys so much; I ll be referring people to you and coming back for all my future repairs.
