Had my recently purchased Land Cruiser towed to State Auto after a breakdown on the highway in the middle of nowhere. They took great care of me and got me back on the road ASAP. Would recommend for Toyota specialty work.

I had a pre purchase inspection done here and had a great experience. All of the people were nice and they gave me a good report on everything about the vehicle for a great cost and informed me that they could fix the only problem they did find. They were able to get me in the same day I called them and were very efficient. I would recommend them to anyone who needs mechanical work done!

Have had a good amount of work done here several times now and always a great job every time. Good about communicating what needs to be done and finishing within the timeline requested. Really helped me fix a lot of ongoing issues with my land cruiser. Appreciate all the quality work!

Dusty and the team at State Auto are the only team I trust to take my cars to. Always upfront and honest and will present you with the options as if it s their own vehicle and what they would do. Can t recommend them enough.

I have been going to State Automotive for several years now and they have never steered me wrong! They are always honest and do a great job! They have a pretty quick turnaround time. I will have my vehicles serviced by them whenever possible! Devon especially is the top guy there!

If you have a Land Cruiser/FJ/GX/LX etc. this is the place.They came highly recommended and after my experiences I can see why.The team here knows these vehicles inside and out and will treat yours as if it was their own. I had a few big repairs done here on my 17 year old GX and would not have been able to trust anyone else to do the job. They stand behind their work, and even called me two weeks after one big fix just to check in to see how the repair was holding up - never even heard of another shop doing this, most just take your money and send you on your way.Honest and knowledgeable shops are few and far between these days. Based on my interactions this is the only place I will be bringing my rigs moving forward.

We needed an oil change for our European Toyota Land Cruiser since we are on a trip travelling from the USA to South America. The Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Salt Lake City recommended this garage to us. The owners Dustin and Trent gave us the best service ever! Dustin and the team at State Automotive are awesome! I do 90% of the work on my own vehicles, because I had a bad experience 30 years ago! But when there s something I can t or don t want to work on, I know I can trust these guys! Grateful to have a local shop that knows Landcruisers as well as they do!

Stellar spot to get your vehicle worked on. I have an 03 Tundra with 315k miles and I took it to the team here to look at a coolant issue and to give me a run-down with all the costs I'd need to do in order to have this puppy run until 500k miles. Devin and team were open, honest, accommodating, and an overall pleasure to work with. They won't try and shaft you with exuberant costs, but you pay for good quality repairs feel confident that you're paying for what you need to be fixed and nothing more. As long as I'm here in Salt Lake City, I'll be going to them for all the work I need done. Couldn't recommend more!

State Automotive charged me a fair price for good work even after my old rust bucket provided some extra labor challenges. Dustin was outright more knowledgeable and helpful than my local Toyota dealership.When I can, I prefer to do my work myself, but when I can t (or when it s below freezing outside), these guys have my business for the foreseeable future.

I have many years experience as a mechanic in various shops, and it s great to find an honest shop and mechanics. They spent hours working to diagnose my vehicles problem and were very upfront about their work progress. Dustin is a straight shooter. He cares about his business. I am very pleased at what putting new bushings has done to improve the driveability of my cruiser. If I were to only offer constructive feedback is communication to the clients could improve and turn times are a little long. I had a candid discussion with Dustin about it, and it's something he is addressing. Hats off and will be coming back for other stuff. Thanks again, team.

These guys are great to work with. Actual techs who you can trust your vehicle with and know what they re doing. As someone who works in the automotive industry, and going to school to be a technician, there s no one else I d rather trust to do the stuff I can t. These guys are the best, I ve been to so many shops for my FJ and finally found one that s honest and knows what they re doing. Every repair is done the right way the first time and they never force me to do repairs I don t absolutely need. Dustin always takes the best care of me, thanks y all!

Called 3 shops. State Automotive was the only 1 willing to tackle/repair a rear main seal leak on a Lexus GX 470. Price was very reasonable.

This was my first time using state automotive and they were great. Would highly recommend. They were honest and upfront, fair pricing, and they did a great job fixing the leak in my A/C, which ended up resolving a few other related issues that had been incorrectly diagnosed at another shop. Will definitely be returning. Everyone I spoke with was great, especially Richard, who ultimately was the reason I decided to go with state automotive.Service: Auto A/C recharge

Everything Land Cruiser and LX470...they also work on 100 Series, 200 Series and all Toyota trucks. They are great with any car or pickup, but Toyotas are why we all keep going back to State Automotive.

Despite my car turning out to be a lemon due to the previous owner's mistreatment, my experience with State Automotive was fantastic. They provided prompt feedback on the initial issues with my vehicle and completed the repairs swiftly and at a reasonable price, all before a planned weekend trip. Although the check engine light returned, they were quick to take it back in and provide helpful and informative service. Unfortunately, it turned out that the car needed repairs costing over ten thousand dollars, and we had to part ways with it. However, State Automotive followed up with us and showed understanding when we explained our situation, working with us on the previous repairs. I highly recommend State Automotive for their exceptional customer service and genuine care for their clients.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair, Emissions testing
