I had been on the search for a car for a while, After going to several dealerships with really bad experiences, I went to Peterson Auto. They didn t have the car I wanted on the lot so they were helping me look. Monte gave me his info and told me to contact him if I find something. Found something, contacted him, 2 hours later he had the car on his lot. The process with them was smooth, no pressure and no hidden fees. Fixed a little broken piece on the car with no extra charge and filled it full of gas for me. Absolutely recommend Peterson Auto to anyone looking for a car! Made a first time car buyer really happy!

Highly recommend you check out Peterson Auto sales. After spending two days finding the right vehicle and getting tossed around by all the other dealerships I visited, this was a welcomed visit. They were friendly, no hidden fees or tricks, and very personable on helping me get what I needed from my purchase. Everyone at Peterson Auto Sales was super helpful and kind! It was my first time financing a car, they walked me through it and explained all fees and pricing. There were no hidden fees and they were as flexible as possible on price so I got a great deal! Had gas full and car clean and ready to drive away. Very kind staff, I would be happy to return!

On March 19, 2024, I was searching for a new vehicle and looked at Peterson motor website along with many others. It appeared that Peterson's add used vehicles at a reasonable and fair price. I went to Peterson's and was meant by Jeanne Peterson, office manager.She was cordial and has a delightful sense of humor..I test drove a Nissan Altima...the car was pristine and rode like a dream...The other members of the staff were professional, knowledgeable and down to earth.Over the years I have purchased a lot of vehicles, but have never had such a pleasant experience. I will never buy another vehicle from anyone else and will recommend Peterson's to everyone I know. They all make you feel like family

I'm very impressed with Peterson Auto Sales. Jeane was an absolute sweetheart to work with and I sure appreciate her being so forward and simple with the whole process. I felt they were honest about everything with the car, history, previous owner and helping me with anything I needed. She and everyone else were all super low pressure and let me do whatever I wanted with a test drive and inspecting the vehicle. Sure the truck put a huge smile on my face but it was so much nicer with Jeane working with me. On top of it all one of the owners even offered to come pick me up out of Utah County when I was having a hard time getting up to them. I declined but that put the cherry on top for me. Thanks again you guys!

Camden(Jo Jo) and Geenie are flat out superb! I don t know very many places in general that are more than willing to simply just chat about the car buying experience and all the boring/fun stuff that goes into it, WHILST knowing full well they are not getting a sale due to credit status.They want to do the right thing for you and not just sale a car. Absolutely phenomenal people wanting the best for you and I d recommend buying from them to anyone wanting something trustworthy!

Very impressed with the staff and service. I did a bit of research to know what car my wife and I were looking to buy. They filled it with gas, changed air filters and a light bulb, and covered the cost of a second key. All together it was 4 hours from arriving for a test drive and driving away in our new to us car. Couldn't have had a better experience anywhere else.

At Peterson Auto Sale we bought our son's first car and it was a very good experience. They were very friendly and above all honest. We were attended by Mike Peterson. They delivered the car to us in perfect, clean condition, they changed the windshield without paying anything extra, and they put a full tank of gas. I really recommend it for those looking to buy a car, they have variety and good prices and above all they are very friendly and honest.

I just purchased a car from Peterson Auto today, and I'm thrilled with the entire experience! A good friend's recommendation led me to them, and I'm so glad I followed it.The staff at Petersons Auto were exceptionally kind and helpful, without any pushiness. Navigating the financing process for the first time felt much less intimidating, thanks to their guidance.Despite the inevitable paperwork, engaging in some enjoyable conversations made the process comfortable and simplified. As someone who values a straightforward, literal approach, their ability to answer all my questions without discomfort was truly appreciated.I got an amazing deal too! I highly recommend Petersons Auto for a fantastic car-buying experience.

The whole staff there is amazinggg! They sold us a beautiful 2014 Nissan Altima . They were so patient with us never felt rushed there at all. They are all so genuine and actually engage in conversation! They handed us the keys and trusted us to test drive it alone ! They are so fair and honest and was willing to work with us! We felt so welcome there and they have no hidden fees ! They even gave us a box of Girl Scout Cookies & a box of Chip cookies for the road! This is definitely one dealership I ll refer anyone to! Monte and his team are top-notch. Monte and his family have been running this used car lot for more than 30 years.He backs up what he says. He provided reasonable options when I told him what we were looking for in a used car. He knows what he's talking about.It was a pleasure working with Monte to help my mom purchase a "new to her" used vehicle.I definitely recommend Peterson Auto. I will be visiting them if one of my existing vehicles needs to be traded out.

These folks did everything they promised. Encouraged having a safety inspection done prior to purchase. Jeanne picked me up at the airport since I wanted to drive the car home to NM instead of having it shipped. Normal charge for paperwork with no surprise fees as I encountered elsewhere. They have continued to be available for questions after the sale. Couldn t ask for a better experience. Thanks guys.!Allen B

Bought a VW TDI from Mike. Traded in my vehicle. Decent trade on my older vehicle with high miles. They made the process so easy ! Great customer service! I would highly recommend if you're looking for a great used car.. Peterson Auto is a place to go !!!

Hello, I would like to let everyone know that what ever doubt you have about smaller dealerships forget it with these guys. I went in and purchased a hot red F-150 sale was (as is sale) 1 month having the truck I started getting an issue where my truck kept going on Limp mode not only Jason and the family started immediately trouble shooting the issue by placing the battery in my truck firs for almost no cost to me but when the issue was not resolved they told me to bring the truck in and they fixed it for FREE with no questions asked. Please know that this family is not only trust worthy been better for me than bigger dealerships I dealt before. If I could I would give them 10 * star review. Thank you Peterson Auto sales

The Peterson family is great! This isn't your average dealership. They take care of people like family and have amazing deals and selection. We drove almost a dozen cars and took a week or more to decide. They were so patient and helpful with finding any information we asked for. We will definitely be back for our next car purchase.

I recently had an excellent experience at Petersons auto shop in Midvale. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car. The buying process was smooth, and I felt no pressure. Everyone at the dealership was great, especially Kenden. A week after I purchased the car the clutch went out on me and they told me bring it back and ordered a brand new clutch without consulting me and even offered me the option for them to tow it and gave me a car in the meantime so i could still drive to work it was awesome! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing experience! When you go to a large dealership, you have reservations. When you go to small dealerships, you have reservations. From the minute Mike picked up the phone, I knew I was dealing with an honest, family owned business. When I told Mike the experience I had at another dealership that was horrible, he went out of his way to take the car for another test drive and have it looked over. We drove from Wyoming to buy this car. Paperwork was ready, staff was beyond friendly, and the entire transaction was amazing. And the car is actually nicer than what we were hunting for and the price was fantastic. We will be coming back again. Thanks Peterson!

I was out on the town rollin' with my sweetheart lady, Misty, by my side in our sweet white 4Runner happily named the Party Barge. We were living large, heading to Draper to snag us some deliousious bar-b-que dinner and rockin' out to some sweet country song playlist on the radio when out of the corner of my eye I spied a little Blue Thunder of a 4Runner parked in the lot of Peterson Auto Sales. I looked over at Misty and said, "Did you see that 4Runner"? and she said, "No, where at?" I responded "At Petersons," and I took a hard right, went around the block, parked the Party Barge at Peterson Auto Sales, and met Jason Gadd. He welcomed us, asked us how he could help, made us feel welcomed. Didn't ask my name, didn't check my ID, didn't even ask if I was 21. I think I mubbled the words "4Runner, like to drive" and he quickly gave me a dealer plate and keys. NO HESITATION. I introduced myself and Misty, then we jetted off in blue thunder, 4Runner. Misty and I have owned a few Toyotas and we know a good one when we find one; this little blue thunder was a good one! We came back from a little drive and let Jason know our thoughts, as we we're not yet ready to bring home blue thunder.Meet Jeanie, and her alter ego Jan.On Saturday, Misty and I slept in like two old hound dogs and did the lazy no kids at home thing. We thought about what errands needed ran, and what's for mid morning breakfast - living in the boonies of Tooele county, you have to make a supply run to Salt Lake once a week and get your Sam's Club out of the way. We called Jason and made plans to visit. Jason introduced us to Jeanie. Meeting Jeanie was all buisness like. She conducted herself very professionally and helped us navigate the sales process and paperwork. Her perfessionalism shinned through because she is an auto industry expert. She knows the buisness of cars but more importantly she knows people and how to help them best. This is when Misty and I met Jan. Jan saw our that our intrest rate could be improved and that the terms of the loan could be better, Jan went to work knocking out loan obsticles like Mike Tyson did to Buster Duglas. Jan made us laugh, took care of us like we were her kids. Jeanie, made us feel loved and appreciated.Thank you Perterson AutoDave and Misty Moncur

Travelled from out of state to this dealership because of how they treated us over the phone and were fair and forthright. Car and price were great as promised. Paperwork was done quickly and we were on the road. I will look here 1st for my next auto purchase and encouraging others to check Peterson s out.

If there were a zero , or negative, star rating, that would be more appropriate for Peterson on Fairview & Cloverdale. These slim- balls rip you off & lie to you, all while smiling. It should be renamed PeterCon!! Buyer BEWARE!!

Absolutely love this family owned and operated business. Been buying cars from Peterson Auto since 1989. 2022 and I just bought another. I want to publicly thank Peterson Auto. There are too many names to mention. The last vehicle I bought I needed a tow hitch installed. Since I was looking I asked them if they had someone that they used. I was looking for a cheaper than retail install. Instead, Peterson Auto paid to have it installed! I was not expecting that at all. You can bet I'll be back. These folk take the pressure off of buying vehicles.Thank you Genie!

I bought my car from them about 6 months ago, and I m still loving it. Being that this was my 3rd car in 5 years, I thought I d have so many issues; especially with my poor credit and not wanting a co-signer. But, with a lot of negotiation between the siblings (salesman and financier), I was able to get my car completely by myself. You hear a lot of scary stories about businesses that are operated by members of a family. However, the Peterson s are great people. Thank you for helping a girl out!

These guys are the absolutely worst!! They are dishonest to the core!! They bandaid a car just to get it out the door and make money on it, leaving the buyer will thousands of dollars in repairs. I would NEVER buy a car from Peterson Auto Sales again!!!
