Bob was so amazing. They got me in for a pre purchase inspection the day I submitted a request. They were so kind and efficient. The waiting area was very comfortable and plenty of me to work while I was waiting. When Bob was done he went over the very extensive inspection and had taken lots of pictures to show me anything that looked great or was of concern. They sent me the whole report so I could look over it again and show the seller some of issues that s popped up. It gave me great peace of mind buying a used car. I would absolutely go to them again!

I was glad I went to Bluestar. They were thorough with their inspection and found a couple big issues with the used car I had already bought! Luckily, they were big enough issues and only a couple days after purchase, that the seller was willing to fix those at no cost to me. I will never buy a used car again without getting an inspection done at Bluestar. It was reasonably priced also.

Excellent service. We bought a used car and we didn t know its service history. We were referred to Blue Star and got an appointment within a few days. Laura was great to work with. She performed a thorough inspection and we appreciate her clear communication throughout the process. We now have peace of mind about our car.

Kevin went above and beyond to pick up the car from the dealership and take it back to their inspection location and then return it. He emailed us an incredibly detailed report including several pictures and called us to walk through what might need to be done to the car, any red flags, etc.. It gave us a huge boost of confidence to go forward and know exactly what we were getting into. I would 1000% recommend this company - we got more than what we were expecting and were very pleased with the service. He was very communicative and gave us plenty of options to get the inspection done in a timely manner, too.

Very good experience. It was very helpful to have someone else look over the car. I was able to even look underneath myself when they lifted it. They found a few things that I didn't notice when inspecting the car myself.

I brought in a prospective purchase 2020 civic with a rebuilt title due to theft, so understandably I wanted to know as much about the vehicle as I could. The inspection was very thorough, and Kevin was very informative and detailed when going over the report with me. I would highly recommend anybody looking to buy a used car to bring it here first. They've got a great crew, and now I've got knowledge and peace of mind.

We worked with Kevin at BlueStar, who said he's one of the company's founders and has 3,000+ individual vehicle inspections under his belt. The fact that BlueStar offers a more-searching inspection for branded-title vehicles (which is what we were looking at purchasing) was a positive, significant selling-point for us to use this service; that more-detailed inspection was a bit pricier, but entirely worthwhile to us. We'd test drove this vehicle we were interested in and thought it was in great shape, but wanted someone who really knew what they were doing to take a close look at it before we committed to the purchase. Kevin did the inspection promptly and then called us and went through the report (which he emailed to us) line by line, with explanations about anything we wanted clarification about. The report revealed our vehicle was in great shape, especially considering it's rough history with a significant accident that had occurred, and he highlighted a few minor issues/repairs that he recommended we get done, and helped us understand which few were urgent and which were more easy to leave for a while and address gradually over time. Really great experience overall and very communicative during scheduling (had to leave a voicemail but he called back as quick as he could) and the inspection follow-up process. We were even able to take Kevin's suggestions/inspection results and negotiate the cost of the minor repairs needed out of the overall purchase price of the vehicle - so that was great for us! Will definitely work with these folks again if we're still in the area next time we're looking at a new vehicle in the future. Kevin's detailed inspection gave us the extra confidence my wife and I were seeking before we committed to our purchase; we're now the happy owners of a very nice used vehicle we hope will give us years of enjoyment and functionality to come. The Car I was looking at was a very nice looking car with very low mileage, but I had reservations because I was not free to go look at it.But Blue Star was one of a couple of Car Inspection companies suggested by the salesman at the dealership. Since I was not able to go look at the car myself, I wanted to have it looked at prior to the purchase.Omar did a great job, he kept me informed during the process. He also probably caught a defect that I would have missed in person. The inspection report is well documented and even had a picture of the defect. The dealership was very comfortable with the inspection process and agreed to fix the defect with no questions asked.I feel that this service is well worth the cost even if you are able to look at the car yourself. Unless you are an ASE certified inspector, you are not going to give it as good of an inspection as the Blue Star Technicians will do.

I worked with Laura and Kevin, and both were incredibly kind and professional. I went to get a pre-purchase inspection and they were so SO helpful in getting two cars inspected in a day for me. Made the appointment on the same day BTW. I appreciated their cooperation to work with me and get me into a great and SAFE car. Highly recommend if you're needing an easy pre-purchase car inspection experience.

The whole process was SO easy start to finish. Kevin was even willing to pick up and bring back the car I had purchased from my work which was SO helpful with my busy schedule. The report was detailed with clear pictures of his findings. I can rest assured that I have purchased a great car and now the dealership is going to fix the minor (but important) things that Kevin found at no cost. I have had inspections done at other places and this is hands down the best. I don't know much about cars but the report and the fact that Kevin took the time to go through it with me line by line helped me understand exactly what he found. Other places just gave me a scratched out list of things that made no sense to me. I highly recommend Blue Star to anyone purchasing a used car.

Great team with an outstanding services. Very honest and professional. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is having doubts on their cars and the cars they are interested in. Very Prompt and Professional Service with extra Attention.We were nervous that we had made a poor decision on the purchase of an older vehicle and needed an unbiased perspective as we were distrustful of the service department of a local dealership. Inspection was very thorough with documentation to backup the report and resources attached for more detail.As I live in a different state and had concerns about my daughter's vehicle, Kevin spent a fair amount of time with me which helped me develop a plan to maintain her vehicle and reinforced for me the belief that we had purchased a quality vehicle. My daughter and I are relieved. All things considered, the inspection cost was not very much money.

I'm extremely impressed!! And so grateful for added peace of mind! I'm in CA and hoping to purchase a car in UT but wanted the extra reassurance of inspection by a qualified mechanic. I was able to get an inspection the day after requesting and the report arrived shortly after the inspection took place. I was then able to speak with the mechanic (Bart - he's awesome) by phone to answer any questions that I had. We are now working with the dealership to see if our concerns can get resolved. If so, I'll know I'm getting a great car in great condition. I'd use BlueStar again for sure.

i bought a truck from out of state so i was not able to drive or see it for myself. i contacted bluestar inspections. he was on it that day and gave me an very excellent inspection and all i needed to know about the vehicle and buy it. great company

We aren't mechanics so we naturally feel nervous about draining our savings to buy a used car only to find major repairs are needed. The Blue Star inspection was very thorough and the inspector drove to the dealership and performed the inspection there. He was able to get there the same day I made the request. I didn't have to be present which was very convenient for me, and the salesman confirmed that he was there and performed the inspection. The inspector went through the report with me and explained every thing that was inspected, the condition, and any maintenance or repairs that should be done. Our chosen vehicle was in great shape so this helped us feel confident about the car before purchasing. We are so happy with our purchase!

We had a rebuilt title car inspected at BlueStar and it was a great experience! They were very communicative and helpful when I scheduled the appointment and very friendly and professional when I brought the car in. They were very thorough with their inspection to on and clear when explaining their findings to me. I will always make sure to bring potential car purchases to BlueStar in the future.

I had Bart review a car that I am purchasing, he was very professional and efficient. The reason I am withholding a star is that I had previously attempted to have a different car inspected on a Saturday, only to receive a call later trying to reschedule to Monday, because they don t typically have staff available on the weekends. So, I think the website over promises and under-delivers in terms of tech availability for the weekends, otherwise it s a good service.

BlueStar was the last step in my car buying process and it was definitely the most important! Bart was very good at communicating even though it was a last minute inspection and even called me to discuss his findings after. The report they gave was very professional, thorough, and transparent. Anything I didn't understand in the report Bart talked me through after. It was well worth the $129.

We were thrilled with how easily our inspection went. Bart was so courteous, professional, kind, and very thorough.We were buying a used car from a small dealer and wanted to make sure everything checked out. Bart went through everything, and I mean everything. He even told us one of the back seatbelt sliding adjusters was stuck--we were amazed.We highly recommend using BlueStar.

Fantastic experience. I put in a request online in the morning and by this afternoon Bart had spent probably an hour and a half examining and documenting exhaustively every aspect of the vehicle. The price was right for excellent service and I'll be working with him again when I need other vehicles inspected.

As a potential car buyer in Florida, I needed someone to put eyes on a car I was looking to purchase in Utah. Luckily, I found BlueStar. The price was fair and gave me piece of mind. I was not expecting such a detailed inspection so I was blown away by the report I received.Bart was my inspector and he called me after to discuss his findings. He was a true professional and answered all questions I had.I will now be booking a flight to purchase this car and drive it home with the knowledge that I'm not buying a lemon! Thank you BlueStar!

The professional and thorough inspection work performed by Kevin saved me from making a purchase of a vehicle that would have cost over $10K in repairs. His keen eye for detail when performing the inspection was evident in his report and no items were missed. The whole process was so smooth! It was quick and effortless and well worth the money. I had an offer on my car in less than a few hours!!! The places they have you do the inspections at are top notch and very thorough. They were so good that now I've found myself a new car mechanic. This is a much more detailed list of issues wrong or right with your car. Very informative!! I wouldn't buy a used car without a BlueStar review!!!!
