Their selection for what I was looking for, chains, was really low and very highly priced. Staff was somewhat helpful but also talked down to me and treated me like I didn't know what I wanted. Really tried hard to upsell me on the more expensive set.

In and out for some quick air freshener. Store was organized, staff was friendly and helpful. They also had a lot of those fun little trinkets and doodads that are great for last minute gift ideas, white elephant gifts, stocking stuffers or just cool little things to spoil yourself with. Not my usual store because of where I live, but great store.

Special tools were needed for this current project, and Auto Zone rents out the tools needed (but possibly never needed again). Totally fresh!The two guys that helped my brother-in-law and I were very pleasant and knowledgeable.The first guy, a more experienced expert, answered all my questions and noticed my confusion without my having to embarrass myself. He pulled up the info so that I could see for myself on the screen. I'm more of a visual learner, so this made all the difference for my understanding. I truly appreciate those kinds of gestures.I had forgotten something, and had to go back into the store.The second guy was very cool about remembering that I was next even though I had wandered slightly, distracted by all the whozits and whatzits galore up by the counters. That was great due to the fact that when I turned around, there was quite the line formed (they must've come out of nowhere while I was lost in all the shiny things )...This was a nice little trip, I'd say! Thanks guys!

Absolutely horrible commercial service. Turned away by the manager because he said he didn t have time. Then I was told to go somewhere else. So I went to another AutoZone and they told me I had to return my core to the AutoZone I purchased it from. Scott at Midvale Autozones showed the worst possible customer service.

Auto zone Auto Parts is a great place to get your auto parts, very knowledgeable people, very helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend this place..it's not just in one place. I mean in all the Auto zones!

Staff found what I needed fairly quickly, but it was my first time in the store and I had trouble finding someone to help me. The person who did help me was very businesslike and not particularly friendly. They had what I needed, although I wish the person had been more patient with me as I didn't know all the answers I needed to know about my car.

Clean place, well organized, super helpful staff. I would definitely go here again. I asked someone to find something for me that wasn't on the shelf, and they happily did it. Nice to see customer service is still intact.

My car battery died 6 months after purchasing it. Brought it to this store with the receipt as it is under a 12 month warranty. They tested it and told me the battery was fine and just needed to be charged. Told me to return an hour later, which I did, and then he said my battery actually was bad but couldn t replace it. They sent me to another store to get a replacement (Autozone on 9th East & 56th South) and they put me through the entire thing all over again. Neither store has replaced the battery and here I am 3 hours later with no way to get to work in the morning. Highly advise going ANYWHERE else but Autozone. Employees are rude, unhelpful and difficult to work with.

I needed my battery replaced and when I went in they said they couldn't replace it because they were short staffed. I clearly could see 4 other employees and felt they were telling me that to avoid changing my battery. My car had died in the parking lot so I asked if they would be willing to jump my car (I had my own cables just needed a car) and once again they refused to help me.

Wow what great customer service! We had a battery issue on our SUV and O Reilly s said our battery was fine. But the vehicle kept having issues, so I took it to AutoZone and not only did Blake diagnose that our battery was bad, but he also went the extra mile and replaced it with a new one for us! He was a pleasure to work with and made sure we were well taken care of. Excellent job!

Normally I am happy when I go to this location but the last time I went. I was needing a coil for my 83 dodge and I took my old part in and set it on the counter. The manager of the store was helping me. And his response was what's that. Really it's a part that has been the same since the dawn of time.

Not helpful. Guys first day. He tried. The guy in charge showed him how 2 not help. Said i voyld go take battery out and bring it back. Was hard enough getting there once. Luckily it started so i coyld come hine and buy my own charger. Which wasnt even suggested by them. Oh well. Will i return? Bahaha

Lock your doors and roll up windows my car was broken into in broad daylight 545pm parked in the handicap parking area was in store less than 4 min. Lost over 400.00 worth of stuff plus person irresponsible stuff.. the manager didn't even care ... one sweet older man helped me call for help.. they aren't as helpful there as they use to be .with finding and helping

Unfortunately I thought changing my own oil today would be the least expensive option. This oil change ended up costing me 3X as much ($76.32 in Uber charges). I bought the most expensive Full Synthetic oil money can buy and when I got home and emptied my oil I discovered the oil I just bought was bad used oil. When I tried to call the store they had no answers and gave me no direction other than to call Scott their manager tomorrow. This does me no good because I can't even drive down there to speak to Scott and get new oil. Not happy and will not be going to Auto Zone ever again. The Uber ride down there and back cost me about $50.00 and the Uber ride my wife just had to take cost me another $30.00 because I could not pick her up like planned. I should have just taken it to Jiffy Lube. I guess that's what you get for trying to save a buck. I really hope their manager Scott takes pride in their Google reviews so he can see this review and can make it right. Doubt that will happen though. All I can say is my blood is boiling right now.

Rick took our phone call and was prompt and immediately started looking my vehicle when I first mentioned what it was. When we got to the store the manager, Matthew Sands was incredibly kind, professional, helpful and informative! Our part was in stock and Matthew helped us get figured out where the part fit exactly and made sure it was installed right! Definitely went above and beyond as I realize that's not part of the job description to do all the extra... he even took the time to explain why he broke the bolt loose then just twisted with his fingers, not the ratchet (it's just faster) and demonstrated the difference! Wildly impressed with the store crew! Another employee came over and just looked what was going on (no other customers at that moment) and Matthew took a second to show him what was wrong with our part. At one point Rick stepped in to allow Matthew to come out and help us with the part we bought, even though another employee was already outside with another customer. Great crew! Very efficient and worked well together! I doubt they were friends outside of work so the way they helped each other was beautiful. Made our day!

Husband and I have been going to this AutoZone for years. Today I went in and was greeted by an employee I hadn't seen before. I quickly found what I needed and went to check out. The employee asked if I was paying with cash or card, I told him and he directed me to a counter. Then he asked the same question again, obviously he wasn't listening the first time. He did not ask if I had a rewards number with the store (I do) and when I finished paying he said "have a good day, sweety".I don't care what social and gender norms you believe in, just because I'm a cute girl does not mean I should be treated with such disrespect. I expect to be treated as an equal as this is NOT the 1800s.

This AutoZone location gets the a+ gold star :-) award! The employees have always been helpful with their knowledge and experience, taking me from a novice with no mechanical experience at all to learning things step by step when they come up if I can handle them. Sam you are awesome! :-)

Amazing service and the nicest employee I ve ever seen at an auto parts store! It felt like going back in time and having someone who is willing to help! I grabbed the wrong windshield wiper and he exchanged it without a problem. Great store great people!

This review is about this specific location not all auto zones. I have had one unpleasant experience after another here. This is my last time going in to this location so I thought I d share my experience because it has certainly been a pattern.I have bought 3 batteries from this place. My car battery they connected it wrong and my car actually caught fire from it (I wrote the company and they did replace it though).My two motorcycle batteries died within a couple weeks of purchase even though I bought the more expensive gold version.They re bad at following up, don t return calls when they say they ll call back if you have an issue. And several of their employees are dismissive and aloof (not all, some are very nice but I haven t found many who come across as competent as product experts or having customer service abilities).They advertise they have tool rentals so I came in just needing some fairly standard tools. They didn t have it (which is understandable, I can understand only having specialized equipment), the turn off was the exchange with the employees:Me: Hi, do you have basic tools I can rent so I can remove a few pieces off my motorcycle? Mainly I need Alan wrenches, socket wrenches, things like that AZ guy: No we don t carry those then he picks up papers and looks down at them.Me: Oh, okay, would you happen to know of anywhere that might rent those? Without looking up from his paper, no Me: Well alright then have a good day and I walked off.Maybe he was having a bad day but it s really hot and miss at this location.I go to the one on state street in downtown salt lake when I can. They re sometimes busier but always have been more helpful. They usually correct the issues I encounter when starting at this location.

I went in to buy some new wiper blades. Patrick assisted me and gave me all the info I needed to make an informed decision. He then went the extra mile (without me even asking) and helped me install them on my car. I told him about another issue I was having, without hesitation he helped with that as well. I offered to give him a tip for his amazing service to which he professionally declined and said, that s what we do here. Thank you Patrick! You will continue to warn my business!

This is a wonderful place for u to find something useful. Its working schedule makes u feel convenient when u are off work and prepare to fix something. My most recent visit is yesterday, though I often come here. A lady stuff here is very helpful and she helped me find the screw drivers I was looking for in less than a minute.

Quick in and out. Went for a cabin air filter the website said they had. They couldn't find it. Suggested a store 5 miles away. Heck no, Amazon will drop one on my porch in 2.

Charity the cashier, was nice, knowledgeable and helped me find the right lightbulbs for my car. The last cashier sold me the wrong bulbs. I think she could tell I was flustered. She explained to me how to tell the difference too. The type of employee who has your back and can bail you out when you didn't even know it. She should get a raise!
