Don't take your car to this place. I did and they said my car would be done in 2 days but it took 7, and when I got my car back I had parts of my car in the front seat and they didn't put the guard that protects the bottom of the engine back on so I was dragging it on the road and by the time I realized I was dragging it half of it was gone. Plus there was trash inside my car like coffee cups and oil finger prints on the Interior. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. AND IF THE OWENER IS READING THIS IM THE DUDE WITH THE BLACK CADILLAC. CLOSE YOUR SHOP YOU SUCK

Fixing little things they're good at. Big things they keep guessing and never get it right. BTW, they keep charging each time they make a mistake. Took my car to another shop, and they got it right the first time at half the price. If I had returned for the second time, they would've been wrong again, and I would have been charged again.

Called in as a new customer looking for availability on getting my truck in. Front desk lady picked up and asked me to be placed on hold. Didnt mind it at all But for 9min i sat and listened to a full blown conversation she pursued between her and some other person almost as if she wanted me to hang up eventually. So i did.

I have actually spent a lot of money here on cars and emissions. I have even recommended it to other people. But that no longer will be the case. I understand everyone is short staffed but that s no excuse not to acknowledge your paying customers. I went there to get emissions done today and was waiting in the office. The guy working on the car looked over at me over and over. Never once said I ll be right with you. Not a single word. After waiting about 15 minutes I said excuse me sir, he said what rudely back. I said I m here for emissions. He said you ll have to wait im working on a car. Not let me take your info and keys and call you when it s done .. nothing. Like my business there don t matter! Bad customer service will lose you business faster than anything else!!!

I went to ask for questions involving making modifications to my diesel truck. Not only was I handled very unprofessionally but the lady didn't want to do her job so much that she rushed me out of the office. To the business owner reading this do you like money?

Went here to do my emissions on my 2001 Chevy Duramax. Argued with the tech because he failed my truck due to no catalytic converter. I told him my truck did not need a cat because it s a 2001 LB7. He then tried to sell me a cat installation for $800. I left but came back the next day for temp tags were I met Kim. I told her about my situation and she checked my truck, come to find out I was right the whole time and my truck did not need a cat. Bad experience but won t stop me from supporting Magna small businesses.

Has had my vehicle now going on 3 weeks still no solution except always more money the last three years I have trusted this shop and this year they tell my my engine in critical situation and I go over to see they joy riding it two days after the fact they tell me that the van needs certain things done or engine can blow they lost a valuable customer this week forever and I will forever not recommend to family and friends!!!! Really just give me a call!!!! I had a very poor experience with D&V auto repair. I took my truck to them 11 days before I needed it to travel, for some repairs valve cover gasket and tuneup and intake manifold that they recommended. They promised to have it back to me in a week. I had trouble getting a hold of them, they required a down payment, they parked my truck out front without locking it, they took my truck to salt lake city without my permission, and then it took them 11 days to get it back to me with other problems that they had created. In the end they did particularly shoddy work for almost $2,000. I had to take it to Mark Miller Toyota to have them repair some of the problems that D&V created. Do not take your vehicle to them for repairs!!

Had fuel pump replaced. When I first got it back it started smelling like gas even after a few days, so I had them look at it again. They finally fixed it, after about a month it won't start so I took it to tunex. They said the fuel pump they used irregularly pumps gas so it has spikes, most likely a aftermarket pump. For some reason it starts working so I took it home and ended up not driving that much till my truck had to get repaired then about after 4 days of driving to work it dies in my driveway. Past labor warranty. Try to get it fixed but realize it's going to cost upwards of 300$ to fix even with part warranty. Don t go here if you re in a hurry. Visited this location to get two tires mounted and balanced . It took them 2 and half hours to do what most shops would have done in 30 minutes. Not to mention when I got there it was freezing cold inside the waiting area I ended up waiting for 40 minutes in my warm truck for the mechanics to show up. I don t see this place getting much return costumers if this is they way they conduct business. The only thing good was the price was $10 cheaper than other shops but then again I don t think waiting an extra 2 hours warrants saving $10. time is money . Next time I will go elsewhere even if it means spending a little more.

These people will scam you if you let them. They said we needed things we did not and would of cost us 400$ just for the parts alone not counting them fixing them. We went to master muffler and had them do the same thing and we didn't need 1 of those parts that d&v said we needed. Would of given -5 but had to give one. No stars is more like it. Dont go here they tried to scam me and they would do it to you too. The mechanic was rude and knew we didn't need those parts. He also said he doesn't want me watching his mechanics if we didn't what else would they have messed up?

Very affordable, honest and super helpful.If you have the time, they will break down why you need repairs on your vehicle.I feel educated everytime I stop by one of their locations. They even have towing available when you are stuck. They are definitely faster than my AAA membership towing.Once you find a great auto shop, you stick with them and I found certainly found mine.Thanks D & V!!!

Please go to this place! My car was rumbling badly when it was idle and the check engine light was on. I got parts from AutoZone after they ran a diagnostic. Turns out they were the wrong parts but it isn't their fault. I didn't know what kind of engine I had. So the mechanics at D&V used their own parts. It was only $250! They even give you coupons for when you get an emissions test done there! Which I recommend as well! They are straight up with their prices and are very reliable!

My car was having AC issues. They were able to have my car working, in less time then expected. They also fixed a few other problems they found while fixing my AC. Just in time too, cause it's 100� outside today!Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Fast, friendly, affordable and knowledgeable.It's good to have a local shop you can trust with your truck.Didn't try to upsell me anything, just took care of the power steering problem at a fair price.I'll keep using them as long as they give this kind of service.

Not sure if anyone works here. Went to get my emission test and most shops will have you out of there within 10 min. Stood around for 30 min at least and never did i see a single employee, besides the lady up fronts.

They said that I needed a fuel pump and all I needed was $188 dollar part for fuses to my fuel pump $900 laterand now my a/c is not working. They unbolted my freon, on purpose! What a bunch of crooks!! Do not trust them there's so many bad reviews on D& V Auto repair in magna!! I wish I would have checked them out! They get their parts from pick and pull!! The manager told us that they put in the wrong fuel pump regulator for California, but it was a fuse the whole time! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

The worst experience I ve ever had! I wouldn t even give them one star if I could help it. I took in my 2014 traverse in to D&V for a simple oil leak from what they told me on Friday at 10:00am Once I came back a couple hours later (noon) he reassured me it s a simple fix but it would take about 3 hours to fix and also reassured me the diagnostic fee would be waved.So I wait for the call. 6pm rolls around and he calls me to say it s ready for pick up, so I head there. An hour and a half LATER I m still waiting in their teeny tiny shop for an explanation on whats happening. .The mechanic guy who I had a hard time understanding tells me that, during him putting things back together my steering wheel got dislodged somehow which effected my power steering, allignment and also he broke a part that makes the air bag function. (I have no clue what the steering wheel had anything to do with my engine oil ) So at this point I m already frustrated for waiting longer than I thought then he tells me to drive it home (that it should be okay to drive a few blocks to where I m staying) and to bring it back sometime the next day which is a Saturday. Once I bring it in the next day as soon as they opened at 8am they said they would have it done by 4 pm that day. I told him I had plans lined up all weekend and explained what an inconvience it would be to the general managers. They offered me to take a Honda CRV they had on-site. I accepted the Honda which smelled highly of cigarets, but beggars can t be choosers so i accept it. When I asked if there was anything they can do to accommodate me for their mistake, like a refund for labor i paid for the original problem I had or something, the shop managers completely declined because they are technically fixing their mistake for free already and told me they would be willing to give me a couple oil changes for free, which, to me is worthless because I am not planning on ever going back there. They also ended up charging me the diagnostic fee that was supposed to be waved (accidentally) I had to end up disputing that charge with my bank. All in all a huge headache don t waist your money! Go somewhere that you know you ll be in good hands and have peace of mind that your vehicle isn t going to return to you in worse condition than it was!Update ** didn t get my car back tell the following Monday we will see if everything was done correctly

Very poor service took my car there cause a code was showing up for the oxygen sensor and they told me way different. They told me my transmission is going out and needs service A.S.A.P and my starter was bad. So i denied the service and went to another auto shop they were honest about what was wrong. So they fixed the problem and after that it was a perfectly running car but i couldn't imagine what i would of got ripped of if i went through this auto shop so do ur self a favor and avoid this place by all means.

I took my vehicle there in Feb 2020 they did a diagnostic and stated I needed Fuel Pump. My car sat until I could afford $500.00 to pay for the part and labor. I finally got the vehicle out at the end of April. Took it home it would not start, bought a new battery for it and drove it to work and home and got stuck driving around in Magna, UT. I had it towed a second time to this place and instead of doing another diagnostic, they warranty'd out the 1st fuel pump and put a second fuel pump in. I drove it from Tooele to moms and guess what again it wouldn't start. The GM said on no wonder we put in a California Regulated Pump, when it should have been a Federal Regulated Fuel Pump. Three tows later now there telling me it's a rear seat fuse block. Do they know what there doing there? I asked for my money back and she said NO they can't do that! Miss diagnosis and here I am without my vehicle and it's still at their shop! I sure hope they make it right!

Charged me over $400 to do spark plugs and wires. Wanted a sensor replaced and they told me one price, then called me the next day and told me it would be $120 over that price if I wanted it replaced. Dealerships are cheaper. I wont be back.

I went here with my honda civic with bad brakes and low on cash. Not only was Mr. Vu and his Manager Crystal so friendly, they helped me get approved thru their credit program within minutes of knowing my financial status. I was in good hands and my vehicle has never run better. I apperciate not only the great customer service but the family values they obviously hold within their own selfs. I support any local run utah business with great values who put their customers best interest first and dont cheat you out of your hard earn dollars. I will definitely use Mr. Vus from this point on as long as hes open. Honest man honest prices hard work. Everything you need in a automotive shop. It doesnt hurt his manager Crystal is a boss at what she does and saves you time and headaches when it comes to your service. Thank you d & v for being like family.

Absolutely will be telling everyone we know to come here. We kept having an issue with my 2005 Jetta GLI and could not find a place that was willing to tell us what was wrong. Insert Sylvia. She broke down everything in great detail and told us how much it would be before we dropped the car off. She is so knowledgeable and went to bat over a few issues we had with this car. Including a sensor that came directly from VW strong. Now that we got this car fixed I will be taking my Dodge Caliber there next. Thanks guys you rock.

I got my car tested for emissions and it failed. (Whoopty do right?) But just days later I had an emission test done at a place that DOESN T do repair. And guess what? It passed with flying colors. I almost was conned out of 200$ at this place for very unessary repair. Needless to say DO NOT I repeat DO NOT take your car to have it tested for emissions here. They might fail you falsely.

Would give thos place no stars! Took my 2014 chrysler town and country in for a tick noise, charge me 3and a half hours labor told me it sound like rockers, they called and said they found metal in the oil pan. They said everything was fine and it wasn't the rockers and it was inside the engine and I need to replace it, didn't feel it was bad I had a second opinion and come to find out it was the rockers in the front valve cover, they didn't even attempt to find the noise instead told me I need to replace the motor, when I got the vehicle back I was leaking oil and took it back and they didn't tighten the oil plug. Beware of the scams and untruthful place and find somewhere better.
