Tim and the V8 swap shop did a phenomenal job taking my 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer and converting it to my dream car. He used his connections to source an engine from a Chevy 2500 and had a transmission rebuilt and installed with several other upgrades so that my ride would serve as my daily driver and adventure rig. Tim answered every question I had with detail and communicated with me extremely well about everything. He listened carefully to my needs and wants out of my Waggy and laid out my options in consideration of my budget. The excellent communication was super important too because I had my Jeep shipped there on a flatbed truck all the way from Indiana. When the conversion was all done, I met Tim for the first time in person when I was picking it up! I had to put a lot of trust in Tim to take care of my Jeep and his trustworthiness was also met with honesty and friendliness. From Utah, I took it home and made something of a road trip of it - I put around 2,000 miles on it and it s still running BEAUTIFULLY. All in all, his expertise and knowledge on how to execute these builds seems priceless, especially since I talked with several shops about a swap with a crate engine and was met with many dead ends before being led to the V8 swap shop. I ll admit, I don t have a great understanding of the inner-goings of Jeep conversions, but I ll let the picture speak for itself. I ve been told it s a very clean install and it looks like the waggy was born with a LS. I would recommend his shop to anyone interested in an LS swap on their Wagoneer. Be prepared for possible delays or a waitlist as it s a small shop but his work is well worth the wait if you want it done right!

I've worked with Tim and known him for years. He's honest and hard working. I don't trust anyone else with my auto repair. He always explains what he finds wrong, sends me pictures and gives me options. He really knows his engines! Tim is amazing!! More then fair on pricing and got the job done faster then expected!! I will definitely be taking my car back to him for any other maintenance or repairs!
