I have had numerous vehicles serviced here over the last four years and waited until now to give a well deserved review....I am continually impressed with these guys.I could give a long list of examples where they gave me accurate and honest recommendations that was beneficial for me rather than themselves.Just like all businesses the excepted business practices all start at the top. With Leo Santana they have created an environment where even new employees are trained to genuinely push customer satisfaction over sales. Which ultimately creates more sales in the future.Leo Santana is that exceptional leader that makes this location such a success and place you can trust.There are places you can get an oil change for a little cheaper but you will actually pay more in the long run. Grease Monkey has never up-sold me on any unnecessary services, and have actually saved me a tremendous amount of money in great advice. Leo saved me a bunch of money again today. He truly is an amazing person that I wish I had in my business. As long as He is there leading by example I will never go anywhere else.If you value honesty and integrity like I do I highly recommend you start getting your vehicles serviced here...

If I didn t go my own oil change change, I d go here every time! They are super fast, and always welcoming. I have done oil changes, emission testing and even registration renewal with them, and every time I get surprise how quick they get it done, while still providing quality service and with a smile. I highly recommended!

This is hands down the BEST place for just about anything to do with your car in cache valley! Their customer service is on point. They take total care of you, make sure you know about everything they are doing and give you good information on your car. I ve never waited here super long either! I would trust these guys with anything! I love coming here and I highly recommend! Even if it s more expensive it is 100% worth it. They have a customer for life!

Friendly staff and quick service but I did have a bad encounter. Who ever rattled the wheels off scratched the hell out of my wheels with the socket. Scratches all over my wheel bolts and scratches all over the clear coat on my wheels. Most of them will come off with a good wax and polish but a few completely took off the paint. I am super disappointed since the price is twice of what the Mazda dealer charges and a fraction of the quality.

I ve had great experiences here and at the north Grease Monkey. They don t force you into services you don t want and they get your car in a bay to be worked on very quickly. Their lobby is much nicer than any of the competitors that I have been to and has free drinks + popcorn while you wait. Went in for an emissions test and was gone within 15 minutes.

Don t go here, I was charged over $100 for an oil change that was supposed to be around $60-$70. They didn t put my air filter back in right so as of right now I m having to pay for a very expensive fix on my car due to the air filter not being put in right, it was extremely lazy work. They will pull some sleazy stuff to charge you more. It s only some of the staff I realized do this, I really like some of the staff there but if you need a reliable place I wouldn t go here just to be safe.

I drive up and they put me right in the first bay. Only one car was being worked on and it was an emissions check.I have a fleet car that usually takes 20 minutes tops at Jiffy Lube. I waited almost 2 hours and they are still working on the car. I think they went to Walmart to buy new cabin and air filters. Nice guys, but honestly I could ve done it myself faster including rotating the tires. I ve revised this review a couple times now as I ve wasted my time here today. Getting my car back, they didn t stall the cabin filter right and put my trash from earlier in the glovebox for me to throw away. Very disappointed! I was told the approval process was the hold up. Not true bc I heard them say it was approved 25 minutes into the service but they worked on other cars. After reading reviews, the comments from the company are lack luster for sure. I won t be back.

I originally went to the north Grease Monkey for an emissions test, but they sent me to their sister shop (this location) instead with a warning that they're always busy. They weren't wrong... but the wait wasn't long at all and all the workers were super friendly and patient!! I don't remember the name of the main worker at the front desk this morning, but their explanations were clear and they were super nice! :)

Went in for an emissions test 45 minutes to close. In and out in 10 minutes. Friendly service, cold lemonade available. Grease Monkey has never led us wrong!! They have our loyalty.

The help seemed very efficient. I do wish that everyone working there would wear a Grease Monkey uniform shirt. That way, you would know if they worked there. The place was very busy. I will return for other service on my vehicles.

On September 6, 2023, I right at 5:27 PM I went to this Grease Monkey located at 1175 S 100 W Logan UT 84321. I went it to get a simple Emissions test done on my vehicle so that I could renew my registration. After handing in my key and going inside to wait I was shortly met by an employee not even 10 minutes later. Whoever it was explained to me that they couldn't successfully run an emissions test because the connection from their machine to my vehicle wasn't working. He went on to explain that he did not know what the problem was, how to fix it, or where I could go to get it fixed. He then went on to charge me $45 for an emissions test that provided zero results pass or fail. explained that when I got whatever was wrong fixed, I could return and get a free emissions test performed. I left confused as to what to do now having absolutely no idea what to do. So, I called the car dealership that at the time I had only worked at for a week. I explained the situation and the service manager who I spoke with guaranteed me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle and to bring it in first thing in the morning, for at that point everyone had headed home. So, at 8 am the next morning I was sitting in the waiting room while my car was getting worked on and low and behold a little while later I was called up and told that my vehicle had zero problems and the emissions test was ran immediately with no problem and only charged me $12 and they were unsure as to why it didn't work at Grease Monkey, but that I should give them a call and they should hopefully have no problem giving me a refund on my $45 emissions test that resulted in nothing. So, I did exactly that, but at first when I called was informed the GM was not in and would call me later when he was in the store. I preceded to not get a call back till the next week. Finally, when I got a call back, I explained the situation sure that once he heard and understood what had mistakenly happened, he would undeniably refund me. He went on to promise me that they did nothing wrong and there was no possible way there could've been an issue on their end (user or equipment). He then went on to declare that he couldn't believe what that dealership did and that they shouldn't have run an emissions test on my car and that they had done me wrong and took advantage of me and couldn't believe they would charge me $12 for an emissions test and that they should've sent me back to Grease Monkey to get my test because I could've gotten it for free from them. He went on to say how sorry he was that I was treated that way by the dealership and that he would refund me the $12 they wrong fully charged me. I explained how I in no way felt that they had taken advantage of or wronged me in any way and that they actually helped me immensely and that I felt Grease Monkey was the one who was taking advantage of me and stealing my money without providing me the proper services I was paying for. After going back and forth he stated that he refused to give me back a $45 dollar discount but would only give me $12 because they did nothing wrong. I asked for the number of whomever was more superior to him so I could get this straightened out and he unwillingly just gave me the generic customer support number.This whole experience was BY FAR the worst I've ever had at Grease Monkey or any shop for that matter. The GM at this store was rude, unapologetic, uncooperative, and extremely unprofessional. I still to this day have not even received the $12 I was promised I would get. I know in the grand scheme of things $45 isn't a ton, but for a broke college student who lives from paycheck to paycheck $45 means a lot to me and to a company as large as Grease Monkey is unrecognizable to. I only went to Grease Monkey for this emissions test on the recommendation of my parents (who live south and have also been loyal customers for years) and when they heard of my experience were in shock. After this I will never be returning to Grease Monkey only to lose more money. and be cheated.

Stopped in to get a replacement month sticker for license plate. Was told that would cost $25. I clarified that this is for the MONTH sticker not registration and again told $25. Replacement month stickers are FREE at any On the Spot Renewal station. If you are going to charge $25 for a FREE sticker, I have no confidence in having you do anything to my vehicles. I would definitely go somewhere else.

Very middle of the road. Not the best place, not the worst. It's pretty standard as far as oil changes go. They're friendly, but they've started the sleazy upselling tactics that got me to switch here in few first place (I noticed today they particularly targeted women and elderly customers). They left the controls in my car pretty greasy as well, but I guess I should have expected that given the name of the business.

I took my Subaru Outback here for an oil change. I watched the process. They were efficient and seemed thorough. I was happy with the service.

Very quick and easy to get a motorcycle safety inspection. People at counter and technicians are easy to work with.Update 7yrs later.: still easy to work with and pretty good techs. The price for an inspection was increased to $45 so I ve stopped going there but I do appreciate that it is posted so there aren t suprised. Still criminally expensive but at least you re aware unlike other grease monkeys. This is by far the best grease monkey I ve been to.

Grease Monkey will top off my car with oil for free anytime between oil changes. As a regular customer and a car with over 285,000 miles using local discount coupons it is the best deal in town. Jason gave me the royal treatment today!

This location is okay, the employees are nice but they don t vacuum your car or clean the windows like the other grease monkeys I ve been to. The receipt I got says that they did vacuum and clean the windows but they definitely did not. They also charged an extra $20 for an on the spot registration renewal that wouldn t be a big deal except that no one said a word to me about it and I just happened to see it on the receipt after taking my car home. Would have been nice to at least be informed of the extra charge. We ll try the other Grease Monkey in town and see if it does any better, otherwise we ll find somewhere else to go.Service: Oil change

I took my car into Jiffy Lube for a headlight bulb replacement. Called ahead and they guaranteed they had it and could get it done. When I got in they told me they had to order the bulb and that they didn t have the tools to do it. Came to grease monkey down the street and the staff was very nice, they helped out right away, had a bulb in stock, and had my car done within 15 minutes of me getting there. They even laughed with me about what jiffy lube said because there wasn t a special tool required. And it was half the price of what I was quoted at jiffy lube. Overall I had a great experience. Definitely recommend!

I wouldn t bring your vehicle here. Especially if it s a newer car. I am sure they are good at oil changes, but regarding all of the other services they offer, they lack experience and training.

Gave them 5 stars in the past, because of their friendly and helpful employees. Went in today for an emissions test, an hour before closing. The employee said, Oh, we don t do emissions testing before closing I ultimately went to Jiffy Lube down the street, which closed in 30 minutes, had 2 cars ahead of me, accommodated me and passed it. Until this place does better, I m never coming back!

January, 2020Update:I brought my car back for an oil change and to change out a brake light, and had the second best experience I ve ever had with Grease Monkey. The gentleman that greeted me when I got there was very nice, and was really eager to help. The other person working the front desk was also very nice and helpful. He even took the time to explain everything they did while they had my car, which I really missed from the other couple of times I brought it in after my first visit. This visit was very rememberable, and I will continue to put my trust in these guys. Thank you!!I brought my car in for an oil change. I had never been here before until yesterday. The staff was very willing to help and to take care of me. The lady working the front was very nice and made sure everything was good to go. Good first experience and I will be returning!! I am so super impressed with my experience today. I went in for an Emissions test and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes (during my lunch hour no less!). Little did I know, they are a One Stop spot, where they will file your Registration right there! It was absolutely worth the extra cash. They were fast, efficient and friendly. I am super happy with my experience today. Thank you!!

For a repair shop chain, while they are somewhat friendly, most of the mechanics look grungy and have an unprofessional appearance. I'd rather take my car to Autobahn or Accurate Automotive even just get my car registration renewed.Even though they just do tires and brakes, Les Schwab's mechanics have a clean cut appearance and attitude that I trust.

I like this location better than the one in North Logan. Both locations are super fast. Price isn t the cheapest but also not the most expensive. The reason I like the south location better than the north is its closer to my house and the guys working at the south seem to know what they are doing better. They even told me that the guys at the North location tightened my oil filter too tight when they replaced it on my vehicle.

I have never experienced anything like this! I was greeted by a very sweet lady. She was very informative and friendly. The gentleman who worked on my car was quick and efficient. I listened to other technicians talking to other customers and every single one was informative and gave suggestions but never forced anything. They were able to register my car as well. That was convenient for me as I only had 10 minutes til the cache county building closed. They were friendly, knowledgeable about what they were doing, quick and efficient. They also have popcorn and drinks, I was given flowers as I was leaving. Not sure if it was for Mother s Day or not but the gesture was kind. That kind of service is Exceptional! I would recommend these guys to everybody!!

Pulled up in sub freezing weather and was almost immediately greeted by a friendly dude that asked how he could help me out. Was shocked that I didn t even have to step inside to get someone to help me out. Got an oil change and topped off all fluids. They did an point expectation and was in and out within 35min. Windows washed and a friendly service. Beyond happy with this place. Highly recommend!

I recently moved to Cache Valley but had been going to Grease Monkey for my services in East Idaho. This location is terrible in comparison. It took just shy of an hour for a tire rotation, including the lag time to even start on my truck before pulling it in. The shop was not overly busy and staffing was adequate to cover each bay so there was no explanation as to why it took so long. These guys are definitely in no rush which completely falls outside the mission of Grease Monkey. Will not be coming back.Service: Tires

I really liked Grease Monkey when they first opened, however, it seems their quality has gone down hill. The last several times I've gone to them, there's always something wrong, or broken, or they need a special tool that they don't currently have, or only one person can do the thing needed and they are of course not there. My most recent experience, I went in for a simple emissions test. After getting my info I sat for about 30 min before being told that something was wrong, only one person can take care of it, and they have no idea how long it will be. Come to find out another man in the lobby also came for emissions and had been waiting nearly 2 hours. I went to Jiffy Lube a short distance away and was in and out in 10 minutes. I don't know that I'll be back to Grease Monkey.

They are simply amazing. I have gone to a competitor for years and they were falling short in many ways but Grease Monkey saved us. The service was amazing and even the little things like a heated waiting room was so refreshing. Brett took such good care of us and was so friendly and helpful going above and beyond I cannot say enough good about them. We won t be going anywhere else!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change
