Avoid these guys like the plague. I was having engine misfires on my truck so I took it in here and they charged me $213 to run diagnostics , then came back and quoted me $2700 for a head gasket replacement(and recommended I do the other one as well for a total of $3500). I was highly suspicious of their diagnosis (engine wasn t overheating, no coolant in engine or exhaust) so I took it to Auto Bahn for a second opinion- turns out it was a timing chain issue and they got me all fixed up. These guys would have charged me $3500 to fix a non issue. I attached a picture of their quote.Save your time and money and find an honest, knowledgeable mechanic. Auto Bahn was fantastic, and fairly priced as well.

So i came to this shop with a alternator and oil leak on my 02 Nissan frontier supercharged and been having little issues and such here and there. never getting the full power of my truck..that was until Diego and the Techs here figured out so many sensor and wire issues the previous owner had neglected and worked with me in the best time and manor i have experienced from a mechanic shop. The prices were more then fair and they explained everything and why it should be done. and let me tell you. ALL of my vehicles will now come to this shop. I not only highly recommend them to you but say i would put the service and techs here above almost anyone else!

Cheapest place to do anything in town! Plus comes with a warranty! They are very honest as well, after getting my car looked at by Leavitt I took it there since it was about half the price to get everything done on it. When they looked at everything Leavitt said needed to be fixed they called me in the shop to show me that a couple of the things Leavitt said needed to be done wasn t actually in need of repair at all and explained everything well to me. I only go here now for my car repairs now and have already a few times and everytime they have been great to work with.

I was referred here by a friend who runs a car dealership. Fantastic service that's quick and affordable. A fix that was priced at over $1000 at the dealership was less than $300 here, and honestly I was treated better at Economy Auto too. Helped me twice already!! First time with a flex pipe weld near my catalytic converter, second was my heat shield! They are fair with prices and get things done quickly. I could not recommend them more!

Best mechanic shop in town. I've been here several times now and every time they treat me extremely well. Always straight forward and up front about their pricing and they get the work done in a timely manner. Never going anywhere else in cache valley.

My husband took my car here and they did the repairs just fine. However, when they put the splash guard back on my car they didn t even try. They left some parts hanging hitting the ground and the part they did attach was done so it hit the tire and made a terrible noise every time I turned. They clearly didn t respect my vehicle.

Diego and Martin were great to work with. They took me for a drive before and after the repair to assess the problem. They even dropped me off at work when I left my truck for them to work on. The guys at economy are phenomenal. They go above and beyond for me and my coworkers and they honestly do great work every time. The Toyota dealership wouldn't repair my broken muffler pipe, they would only replace the entire exhaust system for at least $1,500. Economy Auto Repair charged me $90 for the new segment and labor! Shoutout to Diego for having such a great and welcoming attitude! Got an O2 sensor replaced, and they took care of a misfire my car was having, which turned out to be the fuel injector. I called ahead as I wasn't sure if I needed an appointment, but either way was helpful as he told me about when it would be ready.Very professional service, didn't try to sell me on parts or other that wasn't needed, very satisfied with the overall experience. Highly recommended!

I have been to Economy Auto twice and both times I have been very impressed. They diagnosed an electrical problem and put in a new alternator which took care of the problem. My parents paid $150 more for the same service for the same car.Recently they installed new front brakes and replaced an engine gasket that was leaking oil. So far, I have been happy with the results. They have wonderful customer service.Services: Electrical repair, Brakes, Oil change

I needed to get my engine replaced and these guys were definitely the best priced out of multiple places I checked at. Not only that but when they tell you what price it will be they keep that price, they don't add anything to it like other mechanics will. The people there were very honest and real about everything. When my transmission also needed to be replaced they were so kind and willing to work with me to help me out and make sure I was taken care of. Martin, the mechanic, knows what he is doing and is an amazing person.

Went in for a replacement muffler hook. They cut off the rusty flange and welded a pipe on there. When I said I wanted a new flange on there, they said they would order the part and not charge me labor. The wrong part came, so they just offered to leave it without a flange and attach any replacement muffler for free in the future. They even fixed a problem from a previous repair for free. Very good customer service and personable feel. Would recommend.Service: Exhaust

I love this place they are very reasonably priced and are always willing to work with your budget. I ve gone there for my wheel bearing, to fix an oil leak, to rotate and balance my tires, and for regular oil changes. I love my car it s my baby and they always take really good care of it and me. I d definitely recommend this place for fast reliable service that won t break your bank account.

We are from Preston and drove to Logan, all of a sudden our e brake got stuck and wouldn t release. It was 5:40 pm and we called and they were super understanding even so close to closing time, and let us come right over from Walmart. The guy fixing it knew exactly what it was and got it released in less than 30 minutes so we could drive it home. Thank you so much for your help!

Economy auto repair is the most honest shop I've ever dealt with in all of Cache Valley. Literally can't say even one bad thing about them. Martin, Diego and their helper are the bees knees.

This place was great! We were out here from Michigan visiting family and our power steering went out suddenly. We called them up and brought it in and they were able to fix it quickly even though it was a Saturday and they were busy. Thank you so much!

The service provided in the workshop is top quality. Honest, fast, without trouble, and for that, the customer does not throw money away. Talk to Martin or Diego and they will solve your problem in the time they promise you. Without a doubt, I recommend this service to everyone who needs it. Economy Auto has the nicest people you ve ever met working there. Not only did they lend me their own personal vehicle while mine was being repaired, they drove to my house to bring me gas and went out of there way to make sure I was taken care of. Very professional and kind. I will do all my vehicle repairs with them from now own

They've helped me run diagnostics on my car to ensure the maintenance was up to date, free of charge. Gave estimates on possible repairs, and referred me to a great Auto body shop in "Garza and Chambers autobody".

This is Aimee I payed for alternator it was $60 dollars plus $100 for them to put it in for the service now they re telling me they did the labor for free they did not and then I payed $100 dollars for new wiring it didn t look like they did that so every one know what s going on I didn t get free labor I wouldn t go there at all and now they will not give me the 100 dollars back for the wiringService: Electrical repair

The customer service was exemplary. Martin used his own personal vehicle to take me to my car that had broken down in the rain and diagnose a problem for free. From now on I will only go to them for my car repair needs.
