Fantastic full-service RV Park, highly recommend. Similar to other reviews, we were looking for an RV Park during a winter tour of the Big 5. Everything near Capitol Reef was closed, but Fremont was open and very accommodating. They have electric and water (though in the winter you can't leave the hose hooked up overnight which was totally fine). Bathrooms and showers were incredibly clean and warm, perfect for a pick me up after winter adventuring. They also have laundry facilities which were clean, easy to use ($2/wash, $2/dry, with soap for sale as well). Propane and fuel are also just down the road.Highly recommend staying here. Gary was responsive and happy to help. We had everything we needed, even waking up to a beautiful snowstorm

Appeared to be nice bathrooms and separate shower rooms even though we didn't use. We did use the very nice laundry room and price of 2.00 per fair, good machines...3 washers and 3 dryers. 1/2 hour drive to Capitol Reef. Park fairly new, all full hookups. No trees, just gravel. Less expensive than Rv parks nearer Capitol Reef. Small grocery walking distance away. Never saw anyone in the office as it appears the owner must live close by, he just comes by as needed by customers.

Last-minute find as we were on a winter Mighty Five trip and needed a site with electric for the night. The showers and bathrooms were immaculately clean, site was level and both people were dealt with (one on the phone, one at check-in) were SO friendly and helpful, with tons of good suggestions about things to do in the area and so accommodating.

This review is for the laundromat only. I was staying in town and there was no where to do laundry. The gal at the front desk suggested the RV park laundromat and gave me the code to the door. It is very nice and clean it has three washers and three dryers with a soap vending machine but no where to get change. The family dollar in town will get you some quarters. Wash and dry is 2$ a load. Very very nice!!

We stayed one night in May, the showers and bathrooms were some of the cleanest and nicest we had on our 11-day trip through the southwest. We even did laundry and the laundry room was very clean. The RV park was quiet and adjacent to Loa, UT. Our space backed up to a field of horses so we opened up the back doors of our van and watched the horses as the sun set. Overall a great experience at this RV park!

This is a well maintained parking lot style RV park. The owner came and checked us in after hours and was very friendly. There is no manager on site. Of course, every place has its quirks! This one was no exception. First, the shower rooms have just a shower. No sink, no toilet. I don t know about you, but my brain immediately jumps to worrying that whoever used the shower before me probably urinated in the shower. That s a pet peeve of mine, pun intended! the second and even more interesting quirk is that the showers are timed to seven minutes each, so plan accordingly I was first in the shower for the day (see previous comment re lack of toilet) and the first of my seven minutes was spent waiting for the water to go from frigid to lukewarm. at minute two I had nice warm shower. It s surprising how much territory you can cover in five minutes if you put your mind to it.

My friend and I stayed here 2 nights with our Escape Campervan during our Mighty 5 Utah road trip. We arrived late on our first night here and had to call in order to check in. The family owning Fremont River RV Park is extremely friendly and really wanted to ensure we had a good stay. Facilities are recently updated and very well maintained. Bathrooms are cleaned at least once a day. While there is a timer on the showers with 7 minutes on and 5 minutes off, we had no problem. The showers heat up quickly and have great water pressure. The park is also within walking distance to a grocery store which was helpful to us when we needed to restock. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend! We hope to return on our next Utah road trip!

The person we dealt with when we made our reservation was extremely friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the smaller sites the first night and then moved to a full hookup site for the next three days. The park is basic but all the sites are clean and level. Each site had a picnic table. The showers and restrooms are clean and well maintained. I also used the laundromat which was one of the nicest I ve encountered. Only two washing machines and two dryers, but just $2.00 each. We explored Capitol Reef National Park as well as Fishlake National Park while we were there. If we find ourselves in the area again would definitely stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Loa at Fremont River RV. The owners are very friendly and keep a very clean property. Easy to find, easy in and out of.

Great place to base for Capitol Reef (30 min easy drive to Visitor Center) and many neat finds in the local area. Super nice staff with clean facilities and a very reasonable price for full hooks. You will like it.

This is awesome park, owners are great individuals. You are very close to Capital Reef National Park, and Fish Lake. Lots of hiking near by and if you are a ATV rider many trails for you to discover. They have bathrooms and laundry room for your convenience, they are both very modern and clean. The Wifi is great too. We enjoyed our month stay in this area, also grocery store in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for awesome month!

Gary the owner is available via their phone number. Just let him know when you'll be there. We used this facility to take showers after a few days in the backcountry. The showers were very clean and very warm. Access is easy. We'll most certainly keep this park on our list!

The Fremont River RV Park is a newer, well maintained park. It is a level gravel lot with mostly pull through sites. Each site has it's own lava rock pad. Located on the edge of Loa, propane, gas, a general/ hardware store, a nice grocery store and a NAPA are only blocks away. The Park is bordered by Rt. 24 and pasture land, and is very quiet. Gary the owner provided good information about the area. There is a laundry area and a newer shower/ restroom building. This part of Utah is very scenic. We wish we could have extended our stay, and would definately stay here when we return. We stayed at Fremont River RV Park in a 5th Wheel.

Convenient, small RV park with full hookups halfway between Bryce Canyon and Salt Lake City. We stayed here because it was the only place open during the winter in the area. Everything was great except the place is right off the main road AND the most annoying part is that the showers have a timer. You only have 7 minutes of running water before it automatically turns off for 5 minutes. It takes at least 1 minute for the water to heat up and then you only have 6 minutes left. The owner of this establishment must be a man because to shave your legs as a woman - you need more than 6 minutes. I think it's a little cheap. 10 minutes would be better, 12 minutes ideal.

Was a great place to set up camp while we explored nearby Capitol Reef National Park and took a break from moving. We have a 40 fifth wheel and used one of the W/E sites for a week. Campsites are simple and clean. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Staff are not on site, but they were prompt to return our phone calls and very friendly. Wifi was good and so was Verizon cell signal. We also enjoyed the small town of Loa surrounding the RV park. Definitely check out the Double Decker Diner around the corner, and Royal s grocery store. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

This is a clean, level, convenient rv park not far from Capitol Reef NP. The showers are timed-- 7 minutes on, 5 minutes off, then another 7 minutes on. There are service stations with fuel and propane in town. It was easy to make reservations online with only a few days notice.

VERY disappointed. name sound like it is near a river and cute. Drove up and it s a gravel parking lot with tight spaces, no trees, next to HWY 24 traffic. brand new so bathrooms are clean but I have had more peace at a walmart parking lot. I had paid for 3 days and told them it was not acceptable and not as advertised. They refunded me 1 day but charged me for the other 2 days when I never stayed there. It was labor day weekend and I drove by and saw it was full of desperate people. I think that is BS on their management. There are much closer places next to Capitol Reef and lots of free camping just out side the park with more personality

October 2019 - New RV park in Loa with terrific owners. Bathhouse and laundry are now open. Spaces are large and level. Gravel throughout and new trees so no shade yet. But very nice views and close to Capitol Reef.April 2020- This review is for our second visit to Fremont River RV Park. Due to Corona Virus and restrictions on travel, we decided to stop our usual fast travel pace and stay in one place for 2 months. We selected Fremont River and the town of Loa because it is a fairly small town and a fairly small RV park but it had everything we needed. The key positive feature of Fremont RV RV Park is the owners. Gary and Trot (and Troy's wife) are outstanding hosts. They didn't treat us like paying customers - they treated us like guests. We felt welcome not only in the park but in the town. They made sure we had everything we needed and went out of their way to make sure we knew about sites to see and local events. Overall it made our stay a pleasure. Thanks to the Brian Family.

This is a brand new RV park. On Google maps, it's still just an empty field. So, with it being brand new. The bathrooms are very clean. Some sites have more space side to side then others. We had the spot next to the exit/ Freemont river Rv sign. Plenty of room side to side. It's a very basic RV campground. But that makes it nice. The owner uses a roller to level the sites. I didn't have to level my fifth at all. Landing gear and rear stabilizers was all I had to set up. If your coming here in April, like we did. I learned this the hard way. Check the forecast for night to morning temperatures. It got down to 24 degrees and froze my outside water hose. Nothing in the trailer was damaged or outside. But I didn't have water in the morning. Took a min to unthaw. Great place to come stay if you wanna see the surrounding area.

Wonderful clean and affordable RV park. Private bathrooms and showers were my favorite part!! Owner let us check out a little late. That was so nice of him.

Very clean, nice, convenient, and well set up. Office staff was nice. Landscaping staff put tools on the hood of our truck which did not go over well with us but they were 3rd party workers. Not park employees.
