Good mechanic in a convenient location for me, but very busy all the time. They want an appointment and prefer you text to set it up. But they often don't answer texts to set up an appointment, especially when they're busy. It's understandable since it's a small business.

Great place to get your vehicle repaired and the hourly labor cost is still fair and with quality parts and work being done. The owner is really friendly and easy to work with they take really good care of me and I will always go back to them for repairs

I ve been taking my cars to Mahlen the 3rd Gen. owner & mechanic. For years now, since I found him 6yrs ago? Moved back from Vegas & didn t know the area Lehi. This has been one of my best found spot for my car s & truck!Always honest & price that no where else in the valley can beat! Referred my families & friends also lol!! Thank you Mahalen your the best!!!

Luuuuuv em! Just replaced my engine mounts n their price was half what they quoted me last year. Been limping along waiting to get it done. Mahlan was amazing! Highly highly recommend!!

This was the fastest emissions test I've ever received and the cheapest in Lehi as well. I'd definitely go back. I didn't do the full 5 stars because the place seemed a bit disorganized. It felt like a bit of an adventure getting the work done there, but it was a success!

Stopped in to Rex s to license my Vehicle and they were very fast! Their prices were very good for emissions too. I defiantly recommend if you want fast and friendly service!

Have been here for a walk in emissions and registration renewal before and had a good experience. I recently brought my car in for a fix and they were able to get me in quickly and solve the issue. They gave me the best price for the diagnostic compared to everyone else I spoke to. Overall I had a good experience. The only thing is they are so busy it's sometimes hard to get a hold of them on the phone but it's worth it to keep trying because they do great work.

My car broke down, and I had it towed here as it was the closest auto shop that could potentially be open by the time the tow got it there. I called ahead to check, but by the time I got there it was actually 7 minutes past closing time.They ended up staying almost 45 minutes past closing helping me resolve my issue that turned out to be a simple fix, and they only charged a very reasonable amount for that time. Very grateful for their quick, professional, and competent service, and for helping me out even thought they should have been closed the whole time. Will definitely be back here if I need a more significant repair any time soon!

Very knowledgeable mechanics with a lot of experience on all types of vehicles. They are honest and straight forward. I have never had to question a bill as they are very reasonable with prices. More like your grandfather's fix it garage than a modern "diagnostics shop". Highly recommended!

I actually just went here to renew my registration and get my emission place done. The service was very fast and when I was charged I thought I was being charged 35 dollars for the emission test, so I told them they needed to accurately reflect the cost on their sign. However, he then told me it was 30 for the emissions and 5 for the on the spot renewal! Nornally the on the spot renewal is 10 dollars so i got a deal! He was a really nice guy even when I showed signs of frustration. Highly recommend you go for emissions and registration renewal!Services: Replacement registration card, Emissions testing

This is where I go for nearly all my mechanical needs. I know I can always trust Malen with any of my cars and at competitive rates, if not exceptionally low charges and guaranteed warranties. He's an independent mechanic that my daughter and I have done business with him for over 15 years now and have never been disappointed or taken advantage of. He always treats us with the highest respect and quality work at the lowest rates. He's definitely worth the several extra miles from Salt Lake City and all over!It's hard to find a good mechanic you can put your trust in. He's definitely rates the highest of any I've known.

This is the best place around! They were very kind and honest, they didn t try to get me to replace unnecessary things and were not pushy. My car was diagnosed in a matter of about a minute, and they made it very convenient for me to get my car in. I will definitely go back, and would recommend them to anyone.

I have had a great experience with Rex's Diesel and Auto. My family and I were driving over the point of the mountain when my car started over heating. They quickly replaced my radiator, and had me back on the road within a few hours. I was even happier when he gave me the bill. It was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the service and the prices.

Went in to get my 79 RV emissions test. It failed , but passed after a quick tune on the carburetor. Now she starts and runs so much better. 10/10 would recommend

When everyone else wanted to charge me $65 for emissions testing on my Cummins they only charge 30 so got a quote for the oil pan gasket only $400 everyone else wanted $600+ and to top it off they are nice guys. I can't recommend Rex's enough.

They were amazing! I took my RV in for safety and emissions and it seems it wouldn't have passed, but it was an easy fix so they just tweaked it a bit replaced a light, and now it passed! They were fast and professional and I will certainly be going back.

Very fast and easy service. At first I was a little hesitant because there was not really anywhere to park except for a tiny spot on the dirt/gravel that looked a little sketchy, but after going in I was greeted by a friendly face and the emissions test I went in for was done in seriously like 5 minutes. Very good service

Easily the best experience I ve had with renewing the registration on my car. Total time from parking to leaving was under twenty minutes! The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in and I would recommend them to anyone without a doubt.

Rex diesel and auto quoted me an excellent price.. So my friend and I plan on taking our cars in at the same time because our Volkswagen are the same engine and need new timing belts at the same time but I'll keep you updated after the repairs.
