My brother went for brake parts. He swears by them and the car is running fine now. He changed the brakes. We didn't have to wait long at all you the purchase.

Horrible experience today at this O'Reilly Auto Parts in Layton Utah (805 East 1000 North). First, it's not appropriate to have your employees (Randy) sitting outside the front doors smoking cigarettes and with your business doors open, to say the least. Also this employee (Randy) served me as a cashier and without asking if I wanted to buy a funnel to go with while I am buying oil, he simply says would you like a funnel to use? Of course, I spend money here at this location every week or two for my vehicle and never have had this happened to where I was tricked into buying a funnel just for a quick use and as of before never was charged by any other employees to just use a funnel. Hopefully this stores location raises the question to this specific employee or I can see this will be the last time I come to this location to spend my money at.

I'm not a huge car guy. But, they are okay with that. They helped me find all my parts, gave me installing advice, and even offered me to bring my car in and help install some parts. Very professional, Honest, caring, and extremely helpful. I'll be coming back here for sure. Would highly recommend.

stopped for a light bulb for my tow lights on trailer. the young man working tonight was so awesome. he actually must have seen i was having a little trouble and came out and helped me figure out what size bulb I needed. great staff

Johnathan was an absolute sweetheart and helped us out 5 minutes before close and Iwas so accommodating. My battery was dead and we worried how I was going to go to work and take the children to school the next day and he was so ready help! Grateful, thankful for him thank you Johnathan

Though the didn't have a big selection, they were the only local place I was able to get the part I needed! Especially thankful considering I was able to walk out the door with it instead of waiting for it to be delivered at some point in the future!

The woman that works in this store seems like she is the manager or something. She has a terrible attitude. I have witnessed on multiple occasions that she treats her employees poorly and even the customers. She is snappy and has snarky remarks. There is another employee that wears a cartoon looking hat that is also really rude to customers and to employees. I hate to see how they treat people and it makes me want to make the further drive to the kaysville location just because of it. The younger kids that work in here have always been great to me and do a good job. Poor leadership in my opinion.

I ordered a California roll, which was decently priced. Our server was extremely rude though. His name was jone. The California roll came and it was good! But they didn t have Kikkoman soy sauce, so that didn t even make the sushi taste very good.

The party they ordered doesn't fit my car that we ordered it for and it was not in stock which means we had to order it and wait for it to arrive before we going out it was the wrong part.

The staff were very helpful and patient with us, despite the store closing minutes after we walked in. The part we needed was super specific and they were able to locate a replacement part that was a generic. Half the price, compared to what the dealership tried to sell us. Definitely worth the trip if your doing repairs. The fact that their part orders are no commitment is a life saver.

Thank You Layton Oreillys for professional and always personal service. The manager and all the staff treat me with the utmost respect and care. I am older and have been working on cars for 50 plus years. Sometimes my parts requests are for cars that are older than the folks behind the counter, but I am always welcomed and helped with a smile and focus. A lot of people are not used to having female counter help that are very knowledgeable. The manager in the 805 east 1000 north Layton store is a nice lady that knows her stuff. A big shout out to Preston and all the other extremely helpful counter staff. People and service is just as important as a quality and available part. Thank You

Jonathan and dallas were awsome Jonathan went above and beyond to help me with a disaster of a situation he made it so much Easier than expected i definitely recommend coming here they are professional knowledgeable and friendly

This location is great. The store manager helped me replace my headlight for over 45 minutes of her time (the spring came off and we were struggling to get it back on). The assistant manager even pitched in too. They were very kind in helping me with my needs. She really went above and beyond. Treated me like family

These guys and gals are great! They've always been very helpful and kind. From a 454 powered boat that needed repair to the water pump on my F150 they've had service with a smile and knowledge of their products. They have a very fast part ordering service where I've received the ordered part the same day. Sorry ya'll but I'll be back a few more times before this customer / business relationship ends.

I was having some problems with my battery. I went to the Layton store on Gordon Avenue and Thomas was amazingly helpful! When he ran the battery test there wasn t enough charge to get a good test, so he took the battery out of my car and put it on their charger until there was enough charge to run a true test. Turns out the battery was bad but not only that I had the wrong battery for my car. Thomas was very knowledgeable about what I needed and was willing to go above and beyond in his service. Having been a mechanic myself I really appreciate someone who knows their stuff!

Went in to get new wiper blades, and they were very busy. However, they were still happy to come out and install them for me. I will only go to them for my car needs because they are honest and lovely to deal with. They never try to sell me something I don't need. I know I can trust the people that work there.

I came in to get a replacement headlight. Jayme helped me find the right one and even helped me install them correctly. I was in and out and installed in less than 10 min. Above and beyond customer service. Thank you!

These guys are awesome!!! I drive past two Autozones to come here. They will do anything they can to help you get what you need. Always friendly and curtious. Preston has gone out of his way several times to help me out.

Great staff.Pretty good inventory. i usually have to order parts for my older truck. but i expect that. They do carry many parts for my other vehicles though. The prices are competitive. and the sales people are experienced and know what they are doing.

Read All Best parts store in Utah, great staff! Especially Preston Davis he's one of the most mechanically inclined and helpful employees I've met. He's a kind smart young man that always finds the parts I need for the vehicle's I build! Friendly and helpful staff. I seriously can't understate how nice it feels to be able to ask for help and know they aren't trying to shaft you like the toyota dealerships.They helped troubleshoot and offered part recommendations based on their personal experiences. They were interested in conveying the knowledge and repair Know-how so i might become proficient myself. As opposed to toyota who tries to make things seem as complex as possible.

The gentlemen working here saved my day. Twice my car wouldn't start without a jump. They tested the battery, found it had gone bad helped me pick a new one for a good price, and replaced it all within 20 minutes. I'm very impressed and so grateful. Thank you!

This team always goes above and beyond. Always save me money because I m usually the guy that buys more than I need, throwing money at a problem without me properly identifying the issue before buying parts. This group is always so patient and helpful. This is always my first choice.Thanks.
