These guys were fantastic. Can t say enough about how great our experience was. We were on a timeline that got out of whack due to another company so we brought our vehicle to them later then planned. Jeremy and crew knocked it out with a day to spare. Jeremy took the time to show us around, make us feel confident and comfortable. The whole crew was kind/gracious and took pride in their work.If you have a larger sized vehicle this is the place to go. We had an F550 with a 14ft box and it easily fit in their paint booth.We absolutely are ecstatic how the paint job on our rig turned out and it will be featured in a build series on Tiny Home Tours along with the great experience we had at Layton MAACO.

We visited Maaco in Layton to have our car fully repainted inside and out. Luis was very helpful to find the right color to match my daughter's biking team colors. They did a great job inside and out and the car was done in about a week. I think their prices were are fair as well. Thanks Maaco Layton.

Jeremy and crew made my front and rear end collision look bran new. My insurance lowballed me by $2500 (gieco). Jeremy took care if all the paperwork to get the right amount paid out.

Luis and his crew did a fantastic job! Not all Maaco shops are created equal, but this group is the best. I am restoring a '55 T-bird and they were able to match the paint perfectly. Did an excellent jobs. Well done for the money.New review. It now has been 3 weeks since I had my truck painted which means I can finally wash it. And over this time I have found more and more things that got over looked. When taken in I showed them the problems and they gave me a bottle of touch up paint. Now today washing the truck I noticed that my rims have over spray all over them, also my door handles, all the rubber by my windows, my windows and my mirrors. That's the last straw for me. I will never go back again nor will I be recommending anybody to as well. Spend the extra money and get it done right.Service: Painting

I don't remember who I worked with, but he seemed like the owner/location manager. Jeremy, I think? Anyways, I had damage on the rear quarter panel of my bed where someone sideswiped me. Maaco did the repairs at half the cost a lot of other shops were quoting and it looks great!

Met the owner, Jeremy, who must've sensed I was confused and unsure but needed help with getting an estimate to repaint my car.Extremely helpful and kind, that helped me settle down with my racing thoughts. Very patient, explained everything to me, made me feel relaxed and at ease to joke with him. He is so easy to converse with, upfront and honest.Thank you, Jeremy! You bet I'm gonna blow up business with an excellent review and a 5- star rating because you earned it in that time you spent searching for the color I wanted, explaining the details and providing an honest estimate. My car took 6 weeks to get fixed, which was about twice as long as what was expected. Communication was very poor as they never initiated a call and wouldn't call me back even when they said they would. People I communicated with seemed nice, especially the manager. But it appeared that they were disorganized and they allowed things to fall through the cracks. Talking with my insurance company, they also experienced the same thing I did with the communication. Although they did say that this seemed like a one-off as their prior interactions were good with Maaco. I was also told that there was some turnover that happened that may be the likely culprit of the poor service. Hoping that is the case...although I doubt I will ever use them again. Repair work was good, but only giving two stars for the very poor communication and long time to complete the repair.

I was looking to get my 96 Ford Bronco painted. I asked a friend of mine with some really nice classic cars whom he used. To my surprise he told me Maaco in Layton. Told him no way cause his cars paint jobs cherry and I remember all I heard about Maaco growing up. But I gave them a shot. Talked with Luis for a bid. The price was more than agreeable in comparison to what I had been getting. Luis was patient and responsive to all my rookie questions and requests. So I gave them a shot and I was presently surprised. My truck looks better than I could have ever imagined! I highly suggest you go to Maaco and ask for Luis.

Had some door dings repaired and repainted here. Price was very cheap and done same day. There was a little bit of over spray, but the owner fixed it right up for no charge. You can't tell the dings were ever there. They even offered me free lunch while I waited.Rear passenger door is where dings were.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Recently had my 2005 Toyota Camry painted at the Maaco shop in Layton, UT. The staff was amazing to work with before, during, and after the job. They were very clear in communicating about the process, the price, and how long it would take. The finished product was amazing and they did outstanding work. I checked around with several other shops before choosing Maaco and I made the right decision. Highly recommend using them.

Jeremy was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He went above and beyond for me. His expertise was very helpful and he solved my problem in a very, very timely manner. I highly recommend Jeremy and his team here. By far the best experience I ve had at an Auto Body shop. I have never in my life met a more incompetent, dishonest, and disrespectful owner of a car repair shop. I was t-boned and had my car at one shop but they stated it would be over a month before they were able to tear it down so I found this shop in hopes they could get it in quickly. I brought my car in on a Thursday and called repeatedly mid-week for an update since no one had reached out. Don t worry, they don t answer the phones either so good luck there. I then sent an email a day later and Jeremy finally calls and had no idea what car was mine and obviously didn t look at it. Mind you, he didn t even have me sign a liability waiver and only asked for the insurance information. Should have been an immediate red flag but I was desperate to get it looked at. Jeremy calls back not too long after that and did the tear down super fast and quoted it at an incredibly low rate- next red flag. It was clear at that point he had no idea what he was doing and frankly, should not be a repair stop (look at the other reviews!). I start questioning his estimate and he becomes incredibly hostile and starts saying you re so ungrateful! YOU ruined your car and continues screaming until I finally hang up. The fact that I was in a horrible car accident not even three months post c-section he had the audacity to say I ruined my car!! That s not how not-at-fault car accidents work, Jeremy but I guess you wouldn t know that since you never had me sign a single document. Called my attorney and started the process to get my car out of his hands which took weeks. Then it gets worse By the time my car gets back to the original shop (who did take initial photos of my car post-accident)they found new damages from his shop. I knew the minute I got the invoice, this guy will attempt to weasel his way out of it. Sure enough! After four months, Jeremy decides these damages are not his responsibility and sends the most immature email I ve ever read from a business owner. Now I have to sue him because he seemingly forgot about my car for a week, never had me sign a single liability form nor agreement to do the tear down, did a super quick tear down of my vehicle leaving new damages, spent weeks dodging my email + invoices, and now has the nerve to say he s not responsible for the damages that appeared on the OPPOSITE side of where the original accident happened.So to anyone looking to go to this guy to repair their car- RUN FAR AWAY ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMAN!! It s clear this isn t the first time he has damaged vehicles and refuses to take an ounce of responsibility!

The team at maaco did an absolutely amazing job of my Miata. The blue turned out amazing and the finish is great! I did the body work myself so any flaws were due to that but the paint work is great! They even loaned me a wrench so I could take my bumper off to get it on my trailer. Will definitely be returning often to this maaco locationService: Painting

These guys are amazing! This is my 2nd car of the week. They did such a great job on my Tesla my girlfriend decided to get a new paint job. You can t beat the price, turn around time, and quality! They really support the military and give a discount for that as well! Go see them you won t be disappointed!

I brought my old 80s Toyota pickup in to have a full respray quote on it. I had done all the body work myself, and they were the only shop in the area that said they would paint it. They had thousands of colors to choose from and I dropped it off a week later and was surprised to get a phone call from one of the managers (Jeremy) who told me to come down to check it out just a few days after dropping it off. I got to see it just a few hours after the clear coat was applied and I have to say it turned out amazing. From the final block sand to the clear coat, the painter and everybody else in the shop did a fantastic job. I chose to have a seal coat, primer, base, and clear coat applied and am very happy to say it was worth every dollar. The overall cost was less than 1/2 of what most body shops charge and they still did an amazing job with it. Would highly recommend this shop for good customer service, fast turn around time, and quality painting and auto body. 5/5 stars.Service: Painting

Jeff and the good folks of maaco delivered a much better than expected paint job on my Crown Victoria for less money than they estimated and in only one business day. I don't see how it would possible to do better work than that.Just got my second car back from Jeff and the guys at Maaco, this time a 2007 police Dodge Charger that I needed to have the white parts painted black to match the original Dodge metallic flake black paint. They did a superior job in color matching and an even better job than they did on my White Crown Victoria in terms of drips and runs and unevenness, once again coming in at or under budget with a better than expected job.Now here's the kicker.. I once again dropped this car off on a Friday in the afternoon and it was done by Monday afternoon! This is the second car in a row that they have turned around for me in one business day!So what do I do? I drop off a third car for them to work their magic on this time a Ford van that needs an entire paint job.What I like best about Jeff and Maaco is their ability to understand the type of paint job I am looking for, which is fast, cheap down and dirty my cars are movie prop cars and they don't want to be the very best quality in the world because they're never going to be trailer Queen show cars. With that in mind I am still surprised that they can over-deliver on what I asked for every single timeAs of this writing in January of 24 I've now had them paint four of my cars two Vans a Crown Victoria and a Dodge Charger all jobs have been delivered to my complete satisfaction and under budget

Maaco did an excellent job repairing the front end damage to my daughter s Honda Civic. The first assessment was it was a total loss. Jeremy worked with me to determine what could be done to repair it to a safe condition at a reasonable cost. It turned out even better than I expected and at a lower cost than the original estimate. This place is great! The employees are kind and helpful, they told me it would be ready in 3 days and it was ready the next day! Been thinking of repainting my car but I just took a hardtop to see their work. Needless to say I m definitely going back in the future.
