I've unfortunately had car trouble a few times this past year and I ended up at H and L a couple of times. They have always been very good and honest to me. I may have a bit of an advantage as I can usually get some idea of what's wrong from a family member and I can go in with that, but I've always been incredibly satisfied with their work and I've never felt that they've taken advantage of me. Always been an excellent experience and I will definitely continue coming here for car trouble

Stopped by to do a quick emissions without an appointment. They got my car right in! 2 days before the end of the month! (Honestly, i was prepared to wait) I was in and out in 10 minutes. Kind man at the register knew exactly what he was doing. Got my sticker, and I was on my way. Would definitely recommend!

Been here twice. Once was for an AC repair. In and out quick, not too expensive. Second time came for suspension issues. My car has been creaking a lot, so I asked them to take a look. They said everything was fine and just dry, so they greased it up. Still creaking though. Any vehicle check is $125 regardless of what you re coming in for.Update: went to another shop to get a second opinion because of the noise. They found that the ball joints were dry, and indeed not greased up like h&l said they did. Very disappointed. My new mechanic greased it up and the noise went away. He was annoyed that h&l was so negligent. I d suggest going to a different shop.

Awesome!!! I ve come to them for about everything and anything with my car for the last few years and they always take care of it all. So friendly and professional, and get everything done so fast and efficient. Would recommend them highly. :)

Was traveling through to Montana and thought I was having suspension issues. They looked at my vehicle right away and helped me get back on the road! Nicest guys ever! Great knowing there's still good people putting their customers first! Thank you!

They always help us on what the problem is what it could be and wither or not it's something we could do ourself or they should do or someone else. These guys have been friends of my family since my grandpa and my dad and now me.

This "LITTLE" shop has the BEST PRICES on auto repair and engine REPLACEMENT in ALL OF UTAH! Although they came in at the CHEAPEST PRICE of ALL OF the shops in the Wasatch front for the labor on replacing the engine on my 03' Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, they were FAR from the cheapest in QUALITY!! They pride themselves on EXCELLENT QUALITY WORKMANSHIP AND customer service!! Then when I got into a wreck with my 03 Nissan, they came in at the SAME LOWEST price to replace the suspension system!! They give INCREDIBLE DISCOUNTS FOR CASH PAYMENT CUSTOMERS!! That's NOT ALL THEY DO FOR their customers though! As I've mentioned, they are the BEST PEOPLE TO GO TO FOR LABOR WITH just simple auto repairs! Like TUNE UPS!! To MAJOR auto repair like engine replacement or transmission ISSUES AND clutch REPAIRS!! I USED TO be able to do even my own MAJOR REPAIRS on my cars, but since SERIOUSLY injuring my back in a head-on accident 4 years ago, I'm really limited to the amount of work that I can do on my car!! These guys have been my SAVIORS for over THREE YEARS now for all of my cars!! I recently had to have the injectors and the fuel pump replaced on my 03 Spec V, they did a fantastic job on that as well. I took my car to a dealership for the check engine light, they had my car for 4 days and the check engine light came back on a day later. My friends recommended H&L to me. I took it to H&L, they fixed it in 4 HOURS, for HALF of what the dealership charged me and the check engine light stayed off. Honest people here, thank you

Had to update my review! Been taking our cars here for a couple years now. I will NEVER let anyone else touch our cars. H&L Auto is the ONLY shop I will use. These guys are in a class of their own! They are just amazing!! I send everyone I can to them. These guys are just so great at what they do. Amazing customer service. So patient and friendly and don't ever make me feel like a burden when I call to ask questions. You won't ever find a mechanic shop like H&L Auto. I wish I could give then 10 stars!

I forgot got recommended to H&L in 2013 for my 94 Toyota Corolla. Let me tell you, they don t try to screw your over here. As a female, I know quite a bit of mechanics and have done a lot of my own work on my car... anything I can t do or figure out, I bring to them. They will diagnose my vehicle for free and always give me a good quote. If someone else quotes me lower, not only will Henry & Lefty match that quote, they will beat it. Finally when my 94 was on its last life and having some issue, I brought it there the last time in 2016 and they were honest and told me not to invest any money into fixing it that it wasn t worth it. I junked it and bought a 2012 in 2016 that has been good to me since.

H&L Auto is the only shop I trust to work on my vehicle's! Henry and Lefty and their mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and trust worthy. They treat and repair every vehicle as if it was their own vehicle! I trust and recommend that everyone has H&L Auto take care of your vehicle maintenance and repair needs. You'll be happy you did!!

I was in a bind. Totalled my car but the tires were still good. The lugs were swollen so I couldn't get them off myself. My sister needed new tires and rims so they helped me on the spot with switching out her tires for mine. Good honest people!

We have taken our car into the shop these past two weeks and in that they have told us our car is fixed, and as soon as we get home it's doing what it was doing in the FIRST place!! They charged us almost 1,000 just to have the same problem. Our car is still overheating and leaking. I would not recommend this auto repair to anyone. You will be losing more money, and still going home to a broken car. I am very disappointed in this auto shop. The reviews seemed great, until we put a hole in out pocket and still no car.

Henry was extremely helpful. I had multiple problems with my vehicle shopped around at other auto shops in the area and they gave me a great price on the repairs and also they serviced and repaired my vehicle in a timely manner I would recommend this place to everyone and I ll never take my car anywhere else for repairs now.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

If I could give more stars I would. H & L is the only place I will ever take my vehicle. They are 100% honest and very reasonable. Henry & Lefty always goes out of their way to get me right in. If you want an honest mechanic H & L is it.

I really wouldn't even give a 1 star, but that wasn't an option. I had a small nail in my front tire. Was told it wasn't repairable. And I need 4 new tires because it was an all wheel drive. And they didn't have the right size in used tires, understandable! They sounded very sincere. They gave me an unbelievable high quote and were very friendly. I thought. Wrong!!!!! Went to Point S / tire factory in centerville and guess what ? They repaired my tire. Wouldn't recomend H &l too my worst enemy.

Didn t know what they were doing when they pressed in my ball joints and bushing. Completely damaged my control arms and bent them out of place and tried to fix them, but did such a poor job that they no longer go back into my frame and I will have to buy new parts. When confronting them about this issue they shrugged me off and just wanted me out of the shop barely wanting to even give me a refund.

They're very experienced, took my truck there to fix my radiator that had cracked aswell as other things. My truck feels brand new, took a bit to fix but to get the job done right, I didn't mind.

coming through town on vacation when my tensioner pulleys decided to go out I was giving these guys as phone number as a reference to try they open their doors on a Saturday welcoming to fix my vehicle for me and my family while we were broke down three states away from home to these guys I give them that hands down best review and all around great timing very professional and I owe it to theses guys thank you for putting out a great service in a affordable and timely and very professional mannerService: General repairs & maintenance

They left my lights on throughout the day when they were looking at my car and when they parked it. Killed my brand new battery. They pulled a brake hose on my car when I had just gotten my brakes serviced less than 100 miles before I came to this shop. I got recommended here by a friend and it was the worst recommendation I ever took. If you want to get ripped off and have your car messed with this is the shop.

Henry & Lefty always get our vehicles into the shop as soon as I call with a problem. get the repairs and/or diagnostics done in a timely manner. They never over charge us for labor & parts.
