This is probably one of the best stores to be at for car service. Had no issues with them. The people at the counter are very nice especially Seth. They also host car meets on weekends during the summer for everyone to attend which is awesome! Can t ask for a cooler shop!

I took my car in for a yearly emission inspection. They called to let me know the transmission fluid was due for a change. After I picked the car up it made a new sound that I hadn t heard before. It was a high ticking sound. We had a warmer day so I rolled the window down and really noticed the sound. It slowed when the car did and went faster when the car did. I took the car back to have Burt Brothers and they couldn t figure it out and recommended o go to a dealership.I took it to the dealership and they took a video of them dropping the transmission fluid reservoir and there was only about 4 tablespoons of fluid! I had to have a whole new transmission put in and Burt Brothers won t pay for it!DONT GO THERE!

Waste of time! I had an appointment set for 4:30 pm today for state emissions. To start, three people on the counter and not one acknowledged me standing there waiting for help - after about standing there for 10 minutes, I had to approach someone for help. Okay, fine - not the end of the world.So then they got my keys and said it'd be 45 minutes to get that done. 90 minutes later, I noticed that my truck still parked in the same place I left it. After all that time and this poor experience all around, I talked to the same employee that originally got my keys and I just asked for my keys back. He that got my keys didn't apologize and just said they were behind. Well okay, but why set a false expectation of 45 minutes. Or common sense would tell you that if it starts to take longer than expected then they'd at least you notice it's taken a much longer time and come and talk to me to give me an update.Another observation that didn't sit well with me is that one time I looked back at the emissions bay there were two employees horsing around.What is most sad is that I had probably around 5 or 6 previous experiences at this location and they were all good. I won't be giving this location our future business.

I had issues with my car, my car would not start and I had taken it to the dealer at Larry Miller before Burt Brothers, Larry Miller had and wanted to keep taking my money without fixing my car issues I had to keep going back and forth they were telling it was a loose cable then the battery, I felt like they were just charging without fixing the problem, they claimed it was a cable and when they kept returning my car the cable kept coming loose again and again then they claimed it was the battery. I got fed up with them not taking care of or tried to fix anything so I decided to take it to Burt Brothers, I explained everything that s was occurring and they were so nice and patient they told me (Jonathan) that they were not going to charge me if they didn t fix the problem. It literally took Burt Brothers a week to fix my car, they replaced the damn cable and made sure that my car was running. While it took Larry H. Miller 2 months it took Burt Brothers 1 week, without trying to just take my money, they made sure it was done correctly and they were very honest. I strongly recommended Burt Brother not only that they re very well skilled but they take care and care for their customers.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I own several classics and paid them over $1800 for a new catalytic converter and to have my timing done on an older pick up. When I went back in to have emissions done, they informed me that they do not have the appropriate tools to do emissions on an older vehicle, but that they would have the appropriate tools the following day. I called back the next day, and they told me they got the appropriate tools. I then called back the following day and they told me to bring it in on a Saturday morning to have it done. I took it in only to be told that they did not have the appropriate tools and asked me to go to one of their locations 30 minutes away. I will not be back. Just an absolute joke.

Went in today to get new wheels and tires on my base Ford Bronco. Trent was able to get the wheels I wanted and by close of business my Bronco look like a brand new truck all over again. As good as these look, the ride home was even better! If you want a job that good done, definitely visit Burt Brothers in Layton!

My Ford Ranger (1998 with 181,000 plus miles)quit on me in Layton just off the freeway off-ramp.I was able to coxs it to drop it off in your Layton location.I paid the invoice and drove it two miles before it completely shut down again.I was able to return it to the Layton location.I was fortunate to have had your service technician come out and start it again and he took me on a test drive. He was exceptionally professional in test driving and listening to my input. He suggested that I leave it again and he would reassess it in the next few days. They were able to test drive it a couple of times over the next couple of days.Jeff Toone was the technician/mechanic that dealt with my issues and was extremely patient with me and my vehicle. I want to thank him and Burt Brothers for their care.I have been a dedicated customer at the Sandy store for close to 30 years. I appreciate the Layton store for their recent service .

Very professional staff very ridiculous prices. Because I didn't buy tires there, it was $30 a wheel to balance. Upon being told this I requested to have my key back and I promptly left. never once have I seen wheel balancing at 30 bucks a tire

This establishment never disappoints me! Seth and Jeff is very helpful and friendly to my needs for my vehicles. Establishment is clean with a comfortable waiting area. The staff from customer service, lube center and tire center is friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this shop than any other dealerships around the area.

You ever wonder how Burt Brothers is able to erect so many fancy service centers in such a short period of time? Here's how... they're completely screwing people right, left and sideways. They're calling for 1.5 hours labor to replace a parking break cable on a twenty year old truck. This is a twenty minute install. Quoted $218 not including the part. They've conned me several times in the past. Not this time. I'm done with them. Do your homework before trusting these crooks.

I needed a set of times for my Audi. It was a fairly non-standard size. The store manager, Seth, worked to find my size in a top quality brand. Competitors couldn t get them for a day in one case and five in another. Seth got them the same day. (I m from 300 miles away and need to get home.)He found that a couple of my lug bolts had nearly been stripped. He threw in new ones at no charge. He also personally cleaned out the threads on my hub and saved me the cost of a new one.Everyone was friendly and helpful- including their brake tech, Robin, who showed me an issue and repair detail that I wouldn t have known about. All in all I had a great purchasing and customer service experience. I would really recommend this store to anyone.

Seth was so helpful after a dealership requested I get new tires. He was not pushy and told me my tires had about a thousand more miles before I needed to buy new ones. He truly cared about my concerns and wasn t just wanting me to spend unnecessary money. He was very honest and helpful!

After waiting an hour, in their baking hot lobby, to have my summer tires put on my car and my winter tires removed. I was approached by a gentleman who asked me if I needed my summer tire put on. No I need my summer tires put on, plural as in 4 but I cant wait any longer. The tech was asking him where the other tires were. Well gosh only 3 fit in the trunk and the last onee was in the back seat. Well we can do that it will take about 30 minutes. No im leaving and if you're too dumb to look in my trunk for the other 3 I never want to do business with you again. It is always a dumpster fire at Burt Brothers. Last time I went to the Farmington location I had to take my car back after getting a mile down the road and my front end shaking so violently i vouldnt go over 45 milrs ab hour. Im cutting up my card and going off in search of a decent tire company. And the lobby was empty when I arrived and it took you an hour to even start being incompetent , why bother having people schedule appointments? Im also cpntacting corporate and asking why the Utah locations are so bad.

Avoid Burt Brothers like the plague. They claim they fix something but it is not fixed. They wasted my time. I brought my car in for an alignment and nothing was done about it but they charge me $130. Take your car somewhere else. I brought my car in again to have the alignment done and my car didn t move in 2 hours. You wouid think they would take my car in immediately but they drag their feet. I got my keys back and said good riddance forever. If you take your car here, always verify their work. This is a CROOKED business.

Not sure the point of making appointments.Went in a few days prior and was told it would be a 3 hour wait to get emissions and a rotate and balance. So I made an appointment first thing at 8am on Saturday. Got there Sat dropped it off at 8 and asked how long it would take. They said about an hour. 2 hours later no call but figured they get busy and didn't call yet. All they did was emissions and all the cars that weren't there yet were in the bays. I have other things to do then to wait another hour when I had an appointment for this very reason. So, no appointment wait 3 hours. Appointment first thing in the morning wait 3 hours. I'm not going back there, I'll go somewhere else for the rotate and balance.

I was passing through town and needed a tire rotation that I couldn t schedule and was in a rush.These guys got me in quickly and helped take care of the rotation.Thank you for that type of service.

I would be cautious using The Burt Crooks. Dropped my car off for an oil change and now my serpentine belt needs to be replaced. Ironic the belt failed within 3 hours of drop off to pick up. Will not be going back and suggest anyone be cautious bringing their vehicle here.

I went to a well known tire company try to charge me $345-750 for tires and a sensor. Went to this Burt Brother's, they said they could easily fix the sensor without the tires. They converted me to the Burt Brother's Family.

Burt Brothers is the only place I ll take our vehicles and they ve always been amazing. Would like to call out Jonathan and Seth at the Layton location for a bunch of work they ve done this summer (and for being so honest and saving us money every step along the way) especially on a trailer lights kit install that wasn t needed after all (already installed but hidden by Lexus) after a new tow hitch was installed on one of our SUV s. Also have had great experiences for years with the Holladay and Sandy locations.

Honest, fair pricing, great customer service.My car tested their patience and knowledge lol but they finally figured it all out. And took extra time to fix the issues. I would recommend them to anyone with a car.

I went in with brand new tires to get an alignment. The truck pulled to the right after alignment. I was told it was a radial pull needed to put some miles on the tires. After putting 1k miles still pulling. I went back and spoke with them about it. We set an appointment for a week later on Saturday at 8am. I received confirmation text. I showed up at 8am and imagine this they didn't have an appointment and i was told we'll try to work you in. What's the point of making appointments and why does an appointment that they won't make money on disappear for another person that is paying. Hmm. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. It's obvious that warranty work for them is last priority over paying customers. You lost me as a customer. Thank you for wasting my time

Supplied Burt Bros with a new rim with a used tire. They were happy to install a new rubber valve stem. Cost was $30 and tax. Wait time was about 2.5 hours. They worked past computer system outages.

You are better off going into Les Schwab for wheel and tire work. Went in for a simple tire rotation got a call back a few hours later with a list of other things that need to be replaced, turned them down because the cost was quite high for the materials and work. I Picked my truck up and drove home only to realize my tires were never rotated which is why I was there to begin with. Seems to me like they parked my truck in a different spot waited a couple hours and called me with a list of things hoping I d bite.

They are a contractor through a highly rated tire company and we were sent there for a warranty issue and they didn't honor it. Also don't appreciate them lying saying that they only honor a piece of the warranty because they didn't want to do it. So we will be contacting the tire company to let them know that they aren't honoring the contract.

I would definitely not go to this place.... Received an online quote - and then went to pay after new tires and breaks and it was $130 over the original quoted price. I then asked why and apparently they added a few extra fees - which then they had to take off. 20 min later and it was back down to the correct price. In addition- they put my new tires on the back. I had 50k tire wear left on the front- and 85k tire wear "now" on the back. I had to take off work again to come back down and have them put the 85k wear on the front. Apparently- they do not ask customer preference- they just go off what will require they customer to purchase tires from them again sooner. Capitalism at its best here! Avoid this place at all costs.

The worst service in the world. Stripped out a lug nut. After I had gone out there and asked them not to use an impact on it. Then I get tons of poor treatment from the service writer. After he gets in my face and another guy gets between us. Then to top it off they kept my lug nut lock socket. I went to fix the issue my self at home and they kept the one tool I needed. When I called to get it I got even further poor treatment. I went to Burt brothers for years before this. Never again. This whole store is a joke.

Love the folks at this Location! They re always so fast and so courteous. When I ve come with my kids, they ve made sure to give them toy cars to play with. And they re always honest and friendly while interacting with me about my car.

Warning - do not go there if you are pressed for time or have a hectic schedule. This has happened to me twice. We called them to check when they can look at our car. We made the appointment. Turns out when we dropped it off at a specific time 9 am, they haven't looked at my car all day (I drove by to see the car sitting there twice). So we came back the next day at 9 am. I was off work that day so sure enough they didn't look at the car til 2 pm. Got the issue looked at. Got my car back. Now what really makes this place bad is the third time, I texted back and forth with one of their staff (this was on Saturday - appointment set for Thursday 9 am), they assured me that they would look at my car for motor mounts issue at 9 am. I have a saved text record of my conversation with them. They assured me I would get my car back by 11 am. I called them at 10:45 am to see if it was checked out. They said no. I told them to cancel and I'll get my car back due to having to go to work. Spoke with their assistant manager and he kept apologizing over and over. That does not resolve the issue. He also mentioned that they needed an interpreter for communicating with us. What does an interpreter have anything to do with getting the job done? Be aware if you have a strict schedule, do NOT WASTE your time with them! Will never go back again!
