We are here on vacation and we had trouble with our truck coming up. The air ride suspension stopped working and we were really worried we wouldn t be able to find someone with the knowledge to look. But I am so happy we found md. We called and got us in right away. Ordered the parts and did a great job. Now we can rest easy that our drive home will be safe. Thank you !

Had a flat tire and they were able to get me in first thing in the morning. They fixed the tire fast and it was an affordable cost! These guys are kind, helpful and awesome all around. 10/10 recommend them!!!!!

This place and the mechanics there are so great! I was driving up from Page when my car started shaking. Was able to make it to Kanab and drop it off. My car gave them a run for their money. They couldn t figure out what was causing the issue! Luckily I live in the Salt Lake valley so they had some more time to figure out the problem. They had different people look at it and replaced various parts (all parts that really needed to be replaced). They fixed it and it has been running smoothly since! If I ever have car problems near Kanab again (crossing my fingers I don t), I ll definitely go to these guys again! Thank you MD Auto!

These guys do their best to get your vehicle taken care of quickly. I was very impressed with their customer care and the periodic check-ins they gave me regarding my wife s car. Top-notch service!

MD Auto & Diesel saved/helped me out twice in 48 hours on our way around Kanab for a few days. I pulled in the first time one mid-afternoon with a brake failure in a 2001 Ford E350 4X4. The whole shop was super busy but Russell took a minute to come out and at least help me diagnose the problem. Turns out my entire shock mount on the drives side broke off. He didnt have time to weld it right away but MADE the time anyways. Also allowed me to use tools when he was busy with other customers. The second time was a vacuum pump issue that he quickly identified and steered me in the right direction to easily fix myself. If I had anything close in my area (Maine) that remotely operated at the level of M D I would be super happy. Nothing but great things to say about this shop and my experience with them.

The fixed my flat tire super quick and for a great price. Was in and out within 30 minutes! The people who work here are so kind and really care about their work and customers. Highly recommend!!

One of the friendliest service shops I've found in awhile!They seem pretty busy often, unsuprising on account of such excellent people and work!They were honest and upfront with everything from the beginning.Willing to let us have our cat sit with us inside(in a carrier) while they taking quick care of our vehicle.Unsure when I would be in town again but I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone!

They were very courteous on the phone. I was looking for an oil change and I needed it done the same day, and they were booked for that day. But the gentleman on the phone was very courteous so I will definitely try them again.

On Sunday, we drove to Bryce Canyon for the day and noticed a shudder around 60 mph when on an incline. I stopped by Monday morning and spoke to Dusty. He spent several minutes discussing my problem and we both agreed to wait to see if is was bad gas or something else that would work itself out since the check engine light never came on. He did offer to run a diagnostic on it if it happened again.The next morning we were headed to Zion and it happened with the check engine light turning on. We turned around and drove straight to M D Auto. We arrived right as they were opening. Dusty ran diagnostic and found the 6 cylinder has misfired 16 times. He took us back to our air bnb and got to work. Replaced the coil and spark plug and was back to pick us up within an hour. Absolutely amazing customer service!!! I know they were busy, but didn t hesitate to squeeze me in knowing we were traveling and planned to leave the next day. Next day drive to Ouray, CO with absolutely no issues at all. Wouldn t hesitate to recommend Dusty and M D Auto to anyone. They truly care about serving folks.

So I put a lot of time and effort into getting a quote from other mechanics in Kanab to no avail. And they did it cheaper, saving me 200 dollars for a set of 5 tires.MD did in a day what other Kanab mechanics failed to do in a month and a half. These people earned my business for life . These guys are everything I expect from a company I put my trust and money into.You absolutely will not find a more trustworthy mechanic anywhere. Mike is the kind of person who is going to tell you what is wrong and fix it to perfection while saving you as much money as possible. He will get the job done right, that you can count on.

I live on the other side of the country and my car started making a noise. They were busy but were able to listen to it. It was coming from the exhaust system not the engine. Whew! On a family vacation with a rental we picked up in Vegas. Had a slow leak in one of the tires and wanted to get it patched since we had a lot more driving still ahead of us. Dusty took us in even though it was close to closing time and took care of us. Thanks Dusty!

Was on a road trip from Canada, my truck needed a front hub bearing replaced, I was going to do it myself in the campground but I asked the camp owner if there was a good shop in town, Mike was recommended to me. I promptly headed to his shop late in the afternoon, talked to Mike and he had it fixed up right away the next morning even though he was short staffed.

Highly recommend!!!M D was recommended when our rental car s tire appeared to have a leak(no help from the rental company although they did reimburse later). We came in at 5:30 in the evening and said they d fix it. They asked if they could do it in the morning, but I believe they were willing to do it right away. We arrived in the morning and they found a screw in the tire. They fixed it up quickly and charged $25.00. They saved our vacation and checked the tire as we were leaving Kanab, heading back to Vegas. This is an amazing business and I highly recommend them. Thank you, Mike!!Service: Tires

My car front lower control arm was broken when I was on my trip to Kanab, Utah. With my local host recommendation, I visited M D Auto on a Monday morning before they opened. I waited for Mike to open the shop. Unfortunately, Mike outright refused to look at my car. I was very disappointed with the response I received here. I expected at least he could look at my car's condition and suggest other shops if he didn't have the bandwidth to fix my car. Really disappointed with the M D Auto & Diesel.

When I'm looking for services for my truck I prefer to deal with a shop where the owner actually works there. There's a pride in workmanship and a personal connection to the customer that's lacking in chains or absentee owner situations. Mike takes pride in his shop and would be ashamed to provide his customers with less than the best service possible. He's always busy because word has gotten around. I love this campground. However, as a warning, I've posted pics of a rattlesnake in our camp. We let it go free far from any humans. Also, we had a huge boulder fall from the cliff at our campsite. It landed 2 feet from our tent. Beware. Enjoy.

We had a very odd issue - the old license plate on the used car we bought wouldn't come off when we wanted to put the new one on - and two other shops including Jiffy Lube couldn't solve the problem. The folks at MD made time for us without an appointment and graciously helped without any fuss, and they wouldn't even accept a thank-you tip. I'm so grateful for their generosity with a unique car problem!

Russell and MD were excellent! They were extremely professional, took us in last minute for an oil change and finished early, and we re willing to complete the entire transaction contactless. We tried to find a mechanic to help with a flat tire and after two other attempts we were finally welcomed friendly here. The tire was fixed very fast, professionally and for a fair rate! Thanks a lot!!

I am very thankful for discovering MD. Everything was done in the time stated and even less expensive than the initial quote. Everyone I spoke with there was kind, courteous and respectful. I feel confident bringing my vehicle there and am not worried at all about being overcharged or having unnecessary work performed. Thank you very much Mike and crew!

I rented a camper van and was just over the Utah border when I got a flat. I called Mike on my way through Kanab and he told me to come in. Unfortunately the tire was toast but they had a replacement at a very reasonable price. Best of all they were quick to change it and had me back on the road in no time. I highly recommend using them .
