Our main headlight bulb went out on our Dodge Charger. We knew it would be expensive, but weren't prepared to pay the$450.00 that our dealership wanted to charge, especially since we wanted to replace both headlights at the same time which would come too $900.00! I decided to check out a local car repair shop, named"Small Town Auto Repair" . I talked to Randyon the phone, he answered all my questionsand quoted me under $400.00. Not only did he do an excellent job in under 1 hour, but the bill was$349.00 for both headlights!!

My spouse and I had just started our southern Utah road trip when unfortunately the check engine light came on and we had some trouble getting our car started. We called half a dozen places and Small Town Auto Repair was the only one who could see us the same day. Randy was straight forward, knowledgeable, and professional and helped us to get on our way as soon as possible and at a very reasonable price. I walked in without an appointment because my car was making weird noises. Most mechanics would have sent me away, but Randy figured out in a matter of minutes that the car needed a new alternator, and managed to fix it in between other appointments. In a couple of hours I was back on the road. Very nice person, who explains well what's the problem and how much it would cost to fix it.

Great service Randy fixed my truck twice after others misdiagnosed the problems. First a shop replaced my tie rods when it was my U joint, I'm not kidding. Second a shop missed th hat my 4 wheel drive actuators needed replaced, and they serviced my rear differential. Randy is very knowledgeable, fair very good mechanics shop for sure. Small town auto repair is the best car repair shop in Southern Utah. Randy is honest, fast, and fairly priced. Since meeting him, I have saved thousands on car repair costs and he had been helpful at every opportunity.

My wife and I are traveling. My brakes were squealing a little and I was concerned there were worn out and needed replacement. I made an appointment with Randy and arrived at the appointed hour. He checked the brakes and my pads were only half worn. Randy advised me to wait, put it back together and handed me the keys. In this day and age honesty is hard to come by.Service: Brakes

The shop was very clean and organized, he fixed my ac, and a problem with the electrical system. Showed me the old parts, explained what was wrong with them, randy was very detailed, knew what he was doing and best of all SUPER FAST. He did not waste time, but he did make it very personable. I will definitely be coming back with all my car repairs.

Randy is extremely honest and very fairly priced. I was travelling from out of town when my rear brake caliper seized. I'm fairly knowledgeable about cars and assumed I would need to replace it. Randy was able to salvage the caliper. We replaced the rotors and pads (they had been in rough shape for awhile). I normally buy my own parts, but Randy's prices were reasonable and he only charged for an hour of labor (also reasonably priced). Most other mechanics wouldn't have bothered saving the caliper, they just would have charged for extra labor and parts. I would definitely use Randy as my main mechanic if I lived in the area.

We were visiting from out of town and our power steering belt broke when we were at Zions Park. Our battery light also came on as a result. Found Small Town Auto Service in Hurricane (they had good reviews) so we went there. They were closing in 1 1/2 hours so we were cutting it close. When we got there we spoke to Richard and Kathleen the owners and they said their mechanic wasn t there (it was Saturday) but one of their employees Geoff overheard and offered to put a belt in for us. We bought a belt for $30 at Napa and Geoff, who works at Small Town but doesn t work in the mechanic shop, put the belt in for us!! Everything s working great - power steering, battery and alternator. Shane and Kason were awesome as well and we paid $60 for labor (they said $30 but we were so impressed we doubled it) Another place had quoted us $185 and we would have had to drive in to St George. Couldn t be happier with the service we received at Small Town Auto!! Thanks guys - and Geoff really helped us out of a tough spot!!!!!

Randy diagnosed & fixed my brakes after another shop messed them up badly with the wrong pads. If he had not solved it I would still be driving around with unsafe brakes. Thanks Randy, you are a complete professional!

Snapped a coil mounting bolt changing plugs. Every place in town said two weeks. They got me in in an hour and had it fixed in 30 minutes. Randy was pleasant, professional and competent. Definitely going to be trying them in the future.

While visiting Zion, my check engine light came on. I was worried about getting overcharged by a dishonest mechanic but I had to get it looked at before hitting the road again, so I brought the car in to see Randy at Small Town. Randy did something I've never seen before : he took the car for a quick test drive, did some diagnostics, then assured us that nothing serious was wrong and sent us away without charging us for his time. Randy was the opposite of the dishonest mechanic I was fearing. Thanks a lot, Randy!

Took, our 2007 for explore in, had rocket arm replaced & spark plugs replaced with, new ones, also, randy, did value cover done, we were never asked if we were aaa customer, & of course we .are, we could saved some money, on the $1,400.00, we spent, now I have to take vehicle back in, my wife says, cars making a loud nose sound, so randy said, we have a 1 year warrent, so we're going record the sound & have him fix this issue, I should not have any prombles, since I spent that much money on m vehicle, it,should not have no issue & running smothly.

They are really nice and were patient with the many phone calls I made. They were upfront with everything and had no problems answering our questions. It was easy to buy our truck from them.Kason, the salesman, was very professional throughout.

My car broke down on the way to LA and Randy saved the trip and my car. I trust him a 100% (you can't say that about a lot of mechanics) and will be back when we move to the area.

Called at 4pm and randy was able to get me in and out with in 2 hours for a brake job. Prices were very fair and would go back again if I was in town and needed something.

Fabulous service facility - the head mechanic, Randy, is completely professional - has successfully diagnosed and corrected issues with our 2 Hondas on numerous occasions - Randy communicates exactly the issue and the remedy/cost to correct - met Randy when we moved to Utah and are very pleased with the service - we will continue to patronize this business
