TLDR: Dishonest! Do not trust!Quoted $220 for a battery replacement and then claimed after installation that that was only for the battery and the full price was $330. Haggled him to $270 but still definitely got ripped off. Not coming back and getting my car checked by another trusted mechanic. Only used them as everyone else was closed and I was in a bind.

Today a scenic drive to heber on a saturday ended with my engine overheating and my coolant hose breaking. I was towed to wasatch auto and helped right away! They made sure they got the part needed and helped fix it up that day! definitely a favor from them to get me fixed up fast on one of their busiest days to head back home and not stranded. They even went the extra mile and added extra coolant and oil. Highly satisfied and glad I made it home safe!

I've seen a few reviews of this company that praise them for their speed and communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The repair we needed wasn't extensive, but it took them nearly two months. Usually, when we called to ask about the status (they never called us), they wouldn't know who was supposed to be working on it. They also changed the projected completion date multiple times, so communication was definitely lacking. Ultimately, we were happy with the quality of the work once it finally got done. Maybe there were limiting factors that we didn't know about that prevented them from doing the job quickly... Their tow truck guy was quick and friendly when we got hit by a deer and needed a tow. He gets 5 stars all by himself.

I was charged $400 for less than a 10 mile tow and there was no fee or rate break down on my receipt. The driver couldn t even explain the rates to me.

They towed our vehicle and placed it right in front of a fire hydrant. Our front wheel came off, so it's not like we could just push it out of the way. I'm not very happy with them, but they did get our vehicle to where we wanted it to go.

The Collision Repair was scheduled ahead of time and my vehicle was in and out in 5 days from a deer Collision. German worked on a Friday afternoon to make sure everything was completed on time. Pricing was very reasonable and the job got done

Ivan and the team at Wasatch Auto Repair absolutely deserve the highest rating possible. I called late on a Saturday afternoon to ask if they could replace my truck's alternator. This frantic call was due to the fact that another auto shop in Park City told me it needed to replaced ASAP but they couldn t do it until Monday. Ivan adjusted his schedule, made sure he had the necessary parts, and told me he d help me out whenever I arrived. When I did manage to drive to Heber 30 min later, Ivan s team took over and ran thorough diagnostics. It turns out the other shop was incorrect and pressured me into scheduling a service that would have cost me over $600! I just need to have my battery replaced in the next couple weeks. I then left without being charged (I certainly would have paid for the relief they provided) and cannot recommend Wasatch Auto Repair enough. I was unfortunately in an accident and Wasatch Auto Repair was called to tow my car since it was inoperable. My insurance company attempted to contact Wasatch Auto Repair for almost two weeks to have the car picked up and taken to the body shop, leaving messages multiple times a day without any response. I visited several times asking them to contact my insurance company. The whole time they said their phones weren't working. You're a business, fix the phones! Your fees go up $40/day! It seemed like avoidance was a ploy to collect hundreds of dollars in storage fees.

I can't say enough about this place! They do fast, quality, honest work. We broke down and had our truck towed here knowing nothing about the place, just that they could work on it. They could have taken advantage of us but they gave us a fair price and let us know right away how things were going (taking pictures and videos and sending them to us). They ordered and replaced our entire engine in a matter of days - way faster than we thought. And it's running great. They worked with our insurance and even worked out the tow to be covered. They covered our broken CV axle and filled up our truck. I wish we lived closer so we could always bring our cars here but I will be recommending Wasatch to anyone who lives in Heber or close to it, or who are visiting. Brought my son's car in to have them check why it was stuttering. Without calling they did supposedly $600 in repairs. When asked why they did the repair without asking they copped an attitude and claimed to have called, (My call history shows no calls or messages). Had them undo the repairs when I researched what was involved:Mass air flow censor: $59 parts, 11 minutes to replaceAir filter: $69, 5 minutes to replaceThey wanted to charge $300 parts and $300 labor.Went to pick it up and they charged $150 for the diag, (ok, fine, that is what I expected to pay to begin with), but when they again claimed to have called and have logs, I asked him to show me and he told me to "get the hell out of my shop".Went to start the car and the battery was dead. Real classy move there.So you decide if they're scamming people or not.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

One of my best friends and neighbor is the guy that does the towing General Lee for Wasatch Auto. I have never actually been there but I have told in the past with my friend and is excellent at providing excellent service so I have to go ahead and say that this place has to be pretty good if he's working there and doing their Towing for them! I'm giving four stars because I've never actually been there otherwise I would give it five!

Every time I spoke with them over the phone they gave me different information and different hours that they were closing. By the time I finally spoke with someone who knew what they were talking about my lot few was so high I couldn't afford it. If they would have told me accurate hours days earlier I would have been able to get it out.

I was in a pretty bad car accident late in the night. Jose made sure my ride was there before he towed my car away, so my son and I'd be safe. Then he opened up the yard late the next night when we thought we left my son's camera in the car. He even took time to look himself. He was very kind and easy to work with during a stressful time.
