Lofty Peaks is phenomenal all around!!! From booking to getting out there and riding, every staff member was the best of the best. We did two private tours with Chad last week. We went out with two different groups of friends. One group was much more experienced than our other group. Chad tailored the tours perfectly for each group s skill/comfort level. He even knew where to take us to ride when we needed more protection from the winds once the weather started to changed. I had never ridden before and was extremely nervous to drive but Chad made sure I comfortable and gave me the snowmobile that was easiest to handle. Please don t search for another snowmobile company, just book with Lofty Peaks. What an amazing trip. Our guide Ryan was excellent. He explained everything we were going to do, offered great advice and what a great coach on how to ride the snowmobiles. We had great equipment to run. I would recommend a trip with them in the back country to any one from beginner to experienced. It was a blast.

My wife and I had Chad as our guide. He was very knowledgeable of the area and let us go wherever we wanted as long as it was safe. Chad was the best guide we have ever had snowmobiling and he helped us get unstuck every time. He guided us on a 6 hour tour day one and a 4 hour tour on day two. He is simply the BEST!When booking our trip we spoke with Janelle who took her time answering all my questions. She booked our trip over the phone with ease and was super friendly.This company is the best company in the area and I highly recommend them. Everyone we encountered was friendly and knowledgeable.We will certainly come back and can't wait.John and Michelle Muirhead

I been renting unguided and guided trips through the Lofty crew for years now. Always phenomenal service. We ve had all kinds of groups, new, experienced, broken things, come back late, all kinds of scenarios. They ve always been fair and gracious. Honestly, probably too much. The whole staff is awesome and I continue to go there time and time again. Never disappointed.

Without hesitation, book this experience! Our family, including my wife, 14-year-old, 19-year-old, and myself, embarked on a fantastic 3-hour guided snowmobile tour today. Our guide, Ryan from Lofty, was the star of the day! Ryan's friendly, patient, and supportive demeanor made the excursion unforgettable. He effortlessly blended humor with a keen eye for safety, never once getting frustrated with our mistakes. This tour became the highlight of our family ski vacation, and we're already planning our return, specifically requesting Ryan for another incredible adventure!"

Best place to rent snowmobiles. Everyone from the shop to the guides are amazing.. This was our second year with them and we just lucked out with the best snow ever. Our guide Ryan was fenominal. He gave us few tricks that made a huge difference in handling the machines. I highly recommend them. Just plan to drive to their location then another 20 minutes to the trailhead.

Easy booking, great equipment, quick check in, friendly staff. Transport to the trailhead was on our own (which for some reason I didn t think about). Chad was an awesome tour guide!My favorite part was having the trailer at the parking lot where we finished so we didn t have to go back to the offices in town.

best sleds and tour guides in the uinta. 10/10 would recommend. Takoda our tour guide was super helpful and fun. showed us the best trails and even told us about the mountains around. will be glong back for sure

Our group of 6 Texas flat-landers had a phenomenal experience on our snowmobile adventure with Lofty Peaks on 1/11/24. Upon arrival, the woman that checked us in made sure that we had all the gear we needed to stay warm and wasn't concerned about making a profit. Our guides, Ryan and JP, were awesome. They worked their butts off to make our trip a memorable one....and their job was really hard because there was so much fresh powder dropped last week! While on the trip, one of us bumped another snowmobile, and unfortunately, the headlight broke. Lofty did not try to profit from this either. We only paid for the parts to repair the damage at a discounted price - no labor! All of us highly recommend Lofty Peaks Adventures!

Snowmobile guided trip great guides, made the experience a lot of fun. Rental shop people were helpful and fun. Great place all around. Nice equipment and everything was easy and fun. Great value a fun day had by all in our group. Great scenery but our guides are what really made the trip.

We loved our experience with Lofty Peaks!! Our group of 6 rented 2 4-seater side-by-sides for the day. Jhannel is serious about safety and walked us through everything we needed to know to have a great time. Between her (hilarious) instructions and the on-board GPS, we were well prepared to have a great time and enjoy Utah s beautiful fall landscape.

They were very professional and truly wanted us to have a great experience. Ryan was our guide, he was awesome! The snowmobiles ran well, and the tour was something we won't forget. I would highly recommend Lofty Peaks!

We had an excellent time on our 5 hr. private snowmobile tour. The choice of sleds was excellent. Our guide, Takoda was very knowledgeable and helpful. He found a great area untouched by other sleds. We played around to gain confidence on powder. I have snowmobiled for over 30 years, but never on powder. It was a lot of work, but fun! He gave us the option to go on a big hill climb, but we passed. Lofty Peaks is the place to go!

Tons of fun! It was our first time snowmobiling. The weather was perfect and there was lots of snow. We had fun testing out our skills in the open area. It was cool to have lunch at the top of the mountain. I definitely recommend wearing their gear. Especially the boots and gloves. Ryan was our guide and he was an expert at helping us dig ourselves out when we got into too much powder. He was attentive and gave excellent instructions as well as being very personable. Everyone was friendly and helpful at lofty peaks in store and on the phone. We would definitely book again.

I could not rave more about Lofty Peaks and their staff!! I plan a corporate event each year in Park City and have used Lofty Peaks for a fun group snowmobiling experience for the last 10 years. Our group always raves about the trip and I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness of Brinton, Jhannel and all of the Lofty Peaks guides to our group. They are the best!

We had an awesome experience on our 3 hour snowmobile tour with Ryan at Lofty Peaks! I would highly reccomend Lofty Peaks if you're looking for an adventurous snowmobile experience. This was definately not you're usual slow going "follow the leader" guided trail ride, but an epic raw snowmobile riding experience complete with some high speed riding, hill climbs, and great scenery! Check-in process was smooth and staff was very helpful in helping us choose the gear we needed to rent. In our 3 hour tour we covered a lot of ground and experienced a variety of riding conditions and saw plenty of scenery. Ryan was a fantastic guide, personable and engaging and did an excellent job giving us riding tips and instructions to make for an unforgettable experience!

JP and Brittin were both excellent guides. This isn t like a normal guided tour they will take you off trail through deep powder to the best spots with untouched snow. They were both very helpful with getting me and my group unstuck and helping us become better riders. We rode tight trees open meadows and climbed mountains. Sleds are top notch.

This was our second year doing a private snow mobile tour with Lofty Peaks, and they never disappoint! Bob was our guide, and he took us to the most amazing sites. We got a few different open areas to play in, covered a ton of territory, and had a great time going through the most beautiful places between trees and up the mountain. The guys at Lofty Peaks definitely know how to show you a good time!!

Went on a guided snowmobile tour with Ryan from Lofty Peaks. Booking was super easy, their advice was invaluable and the sled selection was tops. Everyone we interacted with was enthusiastic and eager to help and the trailhead was an easy 20 minute drive away. We can't say enough good things about our guide Ryan, he was absolutely fantastic and so happy to be out in the snow with us. Would book again next time we're in the area!

Great folks. We did a half day with Lofty Peaks and had a blast. The guides were amazing and adjusted the trip on the fly to provide the most challenging and fun trip possible. The sleds were in great shape and the 600R E-Tec I rode was simply amazing. We left exhausted and 100% satisfied. Simply the best.

Second time with lofty peaks, first time guided. Can t say better things about their operations. Super knowledgeable, friendly and sleds get you up the mountains. This is how great they are, on our way back to the trailers we stopped twice because other groups were stuck. They went down and helped dig them out. They love this area and it shows. I ll be back again for sure. We re all family in the canyons and they show it

This was a super fun and exciting experience, 1st time out and I had a blast even if I fell off three times onto soft snow and got stuck twice. Bob was awesome and let us ride like snowmobiling was intended to be. Bob was a great guide and would go with him anytime. Great time, not blowing smoke up anyone, thanks for making my body super swore for Christmas; in a good way.

Just finished up a two day trip. First day guided with Takoda. Can t say enough about this guide. Took us all over the place. High speed runs, trails, back country trails. Little bit of everything. Second day rented the machines. Both days machines ran great. Planning the trip with Janelle was a great experience. Many phone calls leading up to the trip she answered all our questions. And her assistance the morning of the rental was great. Lastly when I forgot to return the survival pack. Chase came back to the store after hours so I could return it.Top notch professional group. Thank you.

We had an amazing day doing an unguided day on the snowmobiles from Lofty Peaks. The customer service is excellent and the equipment and machines were great. Perfect day in the snow for our family of 6. This was our second time with Lofty Peaks and we will be back.

Awesome experience snowmobiling in backcountry of the Uinta Mtns. Tons of fresh powder and lots of time to ride around independently. Cole was an excellent guide who knew a lot about the mountains and area. All staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Lofty Peaks came highly recommended by a friend and we will do the same. Thanks for the great adventure!

Had an amazing time with our company. Jhannel was a huge help getting us 8 snowmobiles, Chad and Takodawere great guides who went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The snowmobiles were very high end and nice, and very comfortable. Highly recommend Lofty peaks..

I took my family snowmobiling this past week and had Chad as our guide. It was a great time and three hours was just enough! We took out the 600 expedition snowmobiles and they get up and move!! Chad took us on hills and areas to take laps where we wanted, 10/10!

Super easy to work with, and they stand behind their machines. We had a machine give us some challenges and they brought up a brand new one. They followed up with us and clearly are working for our business. We will continue to rent from Lofty Peaks. The machines were all within a year old and in tip-top shape. They ran like a dream.
