Hands down the best raspberry shakes in Bear Lake! I was a little suspicious when family recommended it, but it lived up to it. Nice staff, indoor seating and tons of nick-nacks.

This was our family s favorite place to get shakes. But they have since changed the menu. All shakes are raspberry shakes and then you can add flavored syrups. The cost is $7.50 for a smaller cup. Would recommend to stay in town to get your famous shakes.

Edit: The shakes are still good, but it cost $8-9. Le Beau s is cheaper and almost equally good.I heard from a few articles that the raspberry shakes here were underrated. I can confirm that the shakes here are fantastic! There was plenty of raspberry pulp to confirm there were fresh raspberries. I ll need to go to the other shops to see how it compares, but I highly recommend it!

The famed raspberry shake of Bear Lake area. I mean you find better in other places too but this one is open on Sunday. However, I found it to be too sweet and serving size is more than enough for 2.P.S. I would compare it more to soft ice cream than a shake!

Okay, we arrived here at 8:30 am and were able to order 2 raspberry shakes. There was only 1 employee working in the store so she had to constantly interrupt her shake making with manning the cash register. We waited about 25 minutes for our 2 shakes, even though there weren't any shakes ahead of ours. The store itself is fine; the bathrooms weren't terrible. The shakes were really delicious. Our family has tried shakes at most of the places in Bear Lake and we felt like these were some of the best, mainly because they use hard, Blue Bunny vanilla ice cream as a base. However, it is hard to recommend others to go here because of the lack of employees able to run the store and make shakes. I feel like if they don't have at least 2 employees, they probably should not offer shakes. I wish they could have posted hours for their food offerings so that it was clear for customers. Next time we are in Bear Lake, we would probably check to see how things look here but if they looked similar to last Saturday, we would probably go somewhere else for a shake.

For many years this was the best place in Bear Lake for a raspberry shake but now they are beyond terrible. The employees were disgruntled and the shakes were full of ice chunks with a few spots of frozen raspberry. I figured it was an off day so I tried again 2 weeks later and it was the same experience. It's too bad because they had a good thing going and used to sell a lot of shakes.

We were there last week and they started using syrups (peanut butter syrup instead of just normal peanut butter). And it was way more expensive than before. It used to be the best shake place but I swear those were the worst shakes I've ever had. If they change it back to what it was, we will gladly go back. But until then, we will be saving our money for someplace else.

$8 for a shake and they make you buy your own Oreos to mix in. If you re ordering anything other than raspberry they just use syrup flavors. The biggest rip off in Utah

The shakes used to be amazing. We would pay $12 for two shakes and get a ton! We just went last week and it was $17 for two shakes. We got about half of the amount and they are now using syrups instead of real stuff. The shakes were nasty and not worth spending nearly that much. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I went to purchase chapstick the container stated it was $1.99. the cashier was having issues scanning it and scanned a barcode that was at the register without asking me how much it was. They charged me $3.99 he did not give me the receipt and I noticed something off with the cost. I asked for my reciept and let him know the price was wrong that it was supposed to be $1.99 he handed me a dollar back still charging me an extra dollar for the chapstick on top of tax. I know it doesn't seem like much but they shouldn't be charging random prices without checking first. Also I do understand that it gets busy but it just feels dishonest.

Went in earlier this morning for a fountain drink. I'm pretty sure there was mold on the fountain dispenser as i found little black chunks at the top of my drink. They definitely do not clean the machines which is absolutely disgusting. The overall layout of the store is decent and the bathroom was pretty clean so the one star is for that. Also I wish they would display prices on there food and drinks.

As far as gas stations it's average. That's the only reason for 2 stars. What made this place great, was their shakes. I stopped in today and ordered my favorite shake, blueberry oreo. The shake was so bad I didn't eat it. I asked if they remembered the blueberries, they said yes but instead of blueberries, they use a liquid pump flavor now. They no longer had oreo's as one of the shake flavors, but if I bought a pack from the store, they'd mix them in.

This place is getting progressively worse each year the last 3 years. They used to have our favorite shakes in Bear Lake so we put up with the really rude service and random "we're not doing anymore shakes tonight" visits. But this year they got rid of all their mix-ins and flavors and just use syrups. I won't be going back anymore.

We came in 3 days in a row for shakes and each day they told us different times they shut it down. They were also extremely rude and unhelpful. We asked for shakes and she groaned and said she was not making us shakes. She said we could come back tomorrow at a certain time. We returned the next and she moaned again and said she shut it down. This place used to be the best shakes in bear lake. Now they refuse to serve them.

Great shakes, literally the best in bear lake. Pretty good fries, the portions are awesome. With each shake they overfill it on purpose and put the extra into a small cup. Perfect if you have small kids and want to give them just a small amount, or do like me and have it all yourself. They use fresh, non-frozen, raspberries year round. Every other place in town uses either frozen raspberries or raspberry pure until the raspberries come in season. These guys use fresh ones all year.

Generally, I tend not to believe people s negative reviews. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and not judge a place or people based off a bad review.First: the shakes are seriously incredible! I always get the famous raspberry shake and I m never disappointed.Second: the employees have some serious attitude problems. I ve been here twice and both times have had the same male employee working there. He is incredibly rude. I asked him what flavors they had and he pointed to a sign that said toppings. So I read my blind father the toppings but then asked the questions again.. what are your flavors?? He looked me dead in the eye and says, those are the flavors. I already told you that. I looked back at the sign that says, TOPPINGS . Anyway.. that was my first experience.I come back a second time with my wife, siblings, and parents. The convenient store is full of several people ordering shakes and such. I order, sit down, wait patiently for my shake, and when my name is called, I get up to go get it. 2 seconds after I stand up and start walking towards them, the male employee yells loud as hell, BEN! I m standing right in front of the dude. Everybody looks up from where they were eating, ordering, shopping, etc. to see this guy yell my name when I m right in front of him. That man has a serious stick up his butt.

Wish I could leave 0 but that s not possible. We called ahead of time and were told there was a 30 minute wait for shakes. We drove for three minutes, walked in, and were told 45 minutes. We were 10th in line and after four people went the cashier yelled 1 hour wait. After three more people went she told the rest of us in line that they were cutting off shakes and that was it. No I m sorry. Just no more shakes. This was all at 7:50 when shakes are supposed to be available until 9:00. Seriously? 70 minutes to make 10 shakes? I mean I guess it is a gas station so what was I expecting? As far as the shakes go, I can t give you a helpful review. But If you are planning on going here for a shake, give yourself about 4 hours ahead of time because the wait time skyrockets quickly and they stop doing shakes whenever they want. Good luck!

Terrible.I don't know if we just had a bad experience but the two shakes we got were definitely not the best in town. I only ate like 1/4 of my chocolate shake and my wife finished about the same of her strawberry shake before we just threw them away. Tasted like someone just went heavy on the Hershey syrup on poor quality vanilla ice cream. It's worth the lines in town if you want a great shake.

Shakes used to be great. Now, unless you get raspberry, you just get syrup flavor squirts which all tastes pretty much the same. Very disappointed. Will go somewhere else next time.

Used to have great shakes. Now they re awful. They only offer weird flavors with syrups. No mix-ins like oreos, reese s, etc. they also changed the ice cream they use, and it s much less flavorful.

Best raspberry shakes at Bear Lake. They use hard ice cream and real raspberries. They gave us an overflow cup because the shake was so big. We also tried the blueberry shake which was also really good.

Update: they don t really do shakes anymore. They only do shakes using syrups typically meant for soda, and they have a sign saying no exceptions to the flavors. Huge letdown as their shakes in the past have been terrific. Not the most famous, but definitely the best shakes in Bear Lake!

Ordered shakes for $6.50 each, waited for an hour because they take about 10 minutes to complete each order. There is no AC or ,maybe it is broken ,so the front door is left open. This means there are flies flying all over the place in here. Bathrooms are dirty and also full of flies. This is only two stars because the shakes weren t disgusting. Do not come here. It s overpriced, warm, and the environment feels gross from seeing all the flies buzz around.

Lied. We asked if they used the fresh raspberries in their shakes. They said yes. NO it's the frozen raspberries with syrup being charged as the famous fresh raspberry shakes. Go to artic circle or somewhere else that's cheaper if you don't care. If you want the real shakes go to the cafes in town.

Wow! The shakes were so good! We had to wait awhile for them to be made, but it was worth the wait. Our friend lives in the area and told us we had to have one. So glad we made the stop!

This place was a disappointment. They probably have the best shakes in town, because they use real ice cream, but unfortunately I can t speak from experience because they CHOSE not to make the shakes on the day we were there. They had the ice cream. They had the raspberries. But they said there shakes were Tired? Huh?

Literally just left this place. We came here because a friend recommended the raspberry shakes and we have never been to Bear Lake before. The lady working in the store was rude from the moment I walked in and had asked if they had the famous shakes. She rudely responded with well we re the only Chevron around, so ya (refer back to where I said we ve never been here, and I d be willing to bet that a lot of other people haven t either) She had me pay for my shake before she would make it, which is fine- only a little annoying because I had planned on purchasing other items in the store, but I understand. The entire interaction with her afterwards was a joke. Continued attitude towards me, tried to charge me a second time for my shake and then acted like I was lying when I said I had already paid HER for it 5 minutes prior. She personally knew some people, by name, who walked in after me and she treated them pleasantly. Not sure why she had such a chip on her shoulder. Word of mouth goes far and maybe this location should consider replacing this employee with someone who could give people a better experience.
