To reset and fix some ECU issues, and then later to change an ECU wiring harness, the battery had to be disconnected in order to avoid a power surge. Looking at the battery + terminal, the mechanic that worked on my car took 'great' pride (that's sarcasm) in his miserable job. The Mailman definitely didn't deliver, at $200/hour. Come on guys? And you wonder why consumers start hating you for your miserable mechanics service attitude. Also look, they removed my oil cap trying damage my engine. Best never go back to KMT

I came in with a 23 TRd off road Tacoma for a 15k service. Explained that tire pressure was low in one tire. 2.5 hours later they found me in the waiting room and informed me that the wheel was actually cracked and needed to be replaced. I was assured it was under warranty because it was inspected and there was no sign of impact. It wasn't in stock so they asked me to come back in 2 days. I came back just for the wheel swap but this time I waited 3.5 hours until I finally went looking for someone for status. That's when they changed their tune and said the other guy mistakenly said it was covered. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed after waiting 6 hours only to be told they miscommunicated about the warranty. Then they wanted to charge me 500 Dollars+ for a single wheel replacement. Google Tacoma Wheels and you'll see what a rip-off that is. Never again. I'm so disappointed I bought another Tacoma with obviously cheap wheels that busted without ever being off road. The rip off sale attempted at the end sealed the end of a very bad day in my life as a Toyota customer. I'm still waiting actually...4 something hours now for a wheel swap... and there wasn't a line when I arrived (service people standing around all over the place in the service bay).Update... it took another half an hour to get out of there. I drove about a block down the road and noticed that they had put 37 pounds of pressure in 3 wheels and 30 in the other (the door label says 30 PSI). I'm so frustrated at this point I didn't even turn around and go back. Makes me wonder if the oil change was even completed... the only thing I have to go by is grossly overinflated tires.

I was stern because I quickly noticed how unprofessional this service department was, but I never deserved what I'm about to tell you.I bought my 2023 Toyota Corolla SE from here and if you don't want to read this whole thing, just know, this service department is not worth the time.In one word-Unprofessional, and have left me wondering if they are vindictive to those that have expectations. They tried pulling a fast one on me.They seem to bribe people for their good reviews. I am a service manager and I run a team of 20+ service workers. I know that I hold high standards, but I expect good service.First, they never topped off my fluids (other than the oil during the oil change) during my Toyota Corolla Care. Second, I found a hole in the bottom of my car after one of the oil changes because somebody forgot to close it properly.Third, they would not fix my tire that had a nail in it, so I had it checked out by three other businesses. Every one of them said they would fix it. They explained exactly why Toyota decided they were not willing to fix it (unlike Toyota who just said it's unfixable), but it was absolutely fixable. I used it for about a month before I replaced it. This dealership wanted to slap me with over a $700 unexpected bill. Thank you Les Schwab tires.Last, they returned my car to me on it's donut. A quick comment was thrown in that I shouldn't go above 60 miles per hour on those. I'm pretty sure it's more like 45. I was speechless and had to just leave, I left angry and in deep thought. What's more unsafe, fixing my tire or putting a donut on it, and letting me leave with that.Karl Malone service department wanted to charge me $350 for a tire. Of course they fairly mentioned it would take two due to traction differences.Les Schwab tires was willing to quote a pair for $400 less. Now I have found liquid oil in my exhaust...

Poor communication. My Toyota battery went dead and was still under warranty, so I called in and they said I could get a new one at a discounted price for $136. They then proceeded to tell me I needed to go in to have the battery tested to make sure that was the issue. I jumped my car to get down there, then they took an hour plus to "test the battery". Found out that it was in fact the battery, replaced it, and charged a $40 service fee that I was never told about (it takes 30 seconds to install a new battery, and most shops will test your battery for free). They also charged more for the battery than was said over the phone, $160 instead of $136. So for what was supposed to be $136, I was expected to pay $220.The only reason I'm leaving 2 stars is because they reluctantly changed the price to what it should have been as previously stated over the phone and waived the service fee. Still tons of wasted time and poor communication. All I needed was a new battery and it was made very complicated. Be very careful when dealing with these guys that there aren't any hidden fees.

Karl Malone Toyota service department is amazing. My friend bought a used vehicle from a different dealership that had a huge issue with the engine after six months of purchase. The other dealership didn t provide a warranty for what went wrong so we had to do a full engine replacement on her vehicle. We shopped around and my friend found Mary Jane at the service department at Karl Malone Toyota. Mary Jane helped us with so many different things about getting this engine replaced. Communication and availability from her was impressive. The transparency from her and the technician that did the engine swap is unheard of on this industry.I appreciate everything that Mary Jane and her team at Karl Malone Toyota did for us. I will definitely be using their service department for the needs of any Toyota vehicles that we own in our family.I will definitely go back there and do business with them.

As for a dealership, this is the best service I've ever had. They are quick to get you in and done. Never had to wait all day for an hour job like other dealerships.

The service center has never been easy to deal with. Earlier this year we took the car in because the AC wasn't working and they kept trying to get us to purchases hundreds of dollars worth of parts to possibly fix it. We kept refusing those options since we were still in the 3 year bumper to bumper. After weeks of going back and forth to the dealership because we needed our car and they wouldn't give us a rental, they finally did some testing and found it to be the compressor had gone out. They kept the car a few days before they could get approval to give us a rental. Finally gave us a rental for less than 24 hours since they finished our car the next day. We were without AC and taking the car in for 3 weeks in the middle of summer heat. Then we had another issue bringing the car in for regular oil change and tire rotation services. We got home and noticed one hub cap missing. I immediately called and the service advisor said he would check with the technician and let us know if they found it or what they could do. He didn't ever call back. I called 4 days later and he acted like I had never called and told them about the hub cap issue. Of course by that point if they had the hub cap previously, it had likely been thrown out. He said he would talk with his manager and call right back. I had to call 3 more times before I could finally talk to him again (this was a week later). He still hadn't talked to his manager and finally called me back later to ask which hub cap it was.Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and follow up from Toyota Karl Malone. I can't even go to my regular preferred mechanic since newer cards have chips that only their computers can read.

They always tell you before cost, and if it was a mistake....they still honor the price quoted. They are friendly, honest and fast. They will vacum and wash your car without you telling them.

Service dept here is pretty on their game. Took our car in for service and they were fast, friendly, and did a great job. Reception girl not so much, and her phone manners could use some work as well.

Appears to be quality service. They got the work I needed done quickly. However, I'm still waiting on the windshield they promised over a month ago, and it's still on back order. Apparently, I have a bent bracket used for mounting the rain sensor. Which I'm told can only be replaced by removing the windshield. It's a mild annoyance. At least it's being covered under warranty.

I have taken my cars into this place for repairs for over 15 years. It used to be a nice place. They have gone down hill fast. In the waiting area they turn the tv up way too LOUD! They keep it set on an annoying game show. There is no way to turn the volume down or change the channel. This is worse than chinese torture! I will never return to this place!

Went for my first Oil change and tire rotation. Clean friendly service department. It took about an hour with an appointment and for a Saturday they were busy, but not over whelmed.

Karl Malone service and parts has always been great. They back up their service and have been professional every time. I even had a radiator that started leaking a couple months after they put it in and no questions asked they put a new one in, no charge. I have never felt like they were trying to gouge me in pricing or add services I didn t need. Highly recommend!

The check engine light appeared on my 2008 Toyota Prius, so I scheduled a service appointment online for the following day at Karl Malone Service Center. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a timely manner and at a fair price. I had excellent communication from my service advisor, Carl Erickson, who was great to work with. This is a very professional organization and well run. Overall, I would highly recommend this Toyota service center and give high marks to Carl Erickson.Service: General repairs & maintenance

On May 3 I came in to get the oil changed and emissions test on my car. Also had a few questions on services. Mike English was my service advisor and serviced my car. He took time to answer and explain all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and had quickly serviced the car. He again went over service invoice and explained what was done. As an older woman I truly appreciated that. Wish I had that kind of service everywhere I go.I have always been happy with the Karl Malone Toyota sales and service. Thanks again, Mike.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I did not have the best experience. My sales guy was nice but kept disappearing for 20 minutes because of this, I ended up being there for 7.5 hours, which was frustrating and maddening.I gave a price range. He showed me cars out of that range. My boyfriend kindly jumped in and said something since I wasn't being heard.

Service is their Forte and Cars are their King. After all Carl Malone was the Mailman for good reason and he could "Bring It" ...to the hoop. The was the "King" of the Court! His Businesses are the same...they bring it and they're kings of the car business.

I bought a battery 6 months ago from Karl Malone. My car wouldn't start because the battery was low so I took it out of my car and took it up to Karl Malone. They told me I have to bring it in with the car, make no sense. They checked the battery when I brought it in and it showed it was low. So, went home was told to just bring it in the next day, it would only take an hour. Put the battery back in my car, charged the battery to get to the dealership, driving to the dealership of course charged the battery. It took 2 hours to check if the battery was good or not, told me it was fine and charged.....well thanks, of course it was charged, I charged it on the way up. Thanks for the service. Karl Malone is out for themselves, not there to do the right thing. I was turned off by the service, will not be back for service or to buy a car and will highly recommend to family and friends to NOT buy a car from them due to the poor service and not wanting to back up their products.

The people are great, but move without any sence of speed. I came in to get new wiper blades, that should be under warranty being that my vehicle is only 3 months old, but have ended up sitting for over an hour just waiting to hear which way they are going to go with it. I don't like advocating drug use, but this place definitely needs something to get their buts in gear.

Not very impressed with their service. Took our Toyota van into them because of a few different things- ended up spending $1,700- which is fine if the things get fixed! But the day after we got our car, 4 lights and the VSC warning came back on. I ve talked to them twice on their chat and they ve taken my phone number and email and NO ONE has gotten back to me. Very upset to have paid all this money and left with the same problem- all while not getting any sort of communication back on their part.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Auto A/C replacement, Auto maintenance

It's been a LONG time since I've taken any vehicle to a dealership. My wife's newer Toyota Highlander (2019) started idling rough and making bad noises upon start-up and idol. Took it to the dealership because it's still under warranty. The service rep Carl was awesome. Turns out it was the water pump, which apparently is an issue on most Toyota's around 40k-60k miles. They replaced it under warranty without question. Runs great and was done on time. We'll be back for future service, that's for sure

They always take great care of my car. The customer service is awesome. Carl Erickson is the best guy to work with. The waiting area is huge, super nice/ clean, and they even have stuff to entertain kids. This is the only place my family goes.
