I ve taken my car to dealerships for years to get worked on, trusting that they were the right place to go. Come to find out the dealerships were not performing very good work. Jake did initial diagnosis and found lots of things. We appreciated their honesty and help.

Monica and team were very helpful. They provided excellent service. I was given different pricing options and felt I was taken care of. They kept their promise on when the vehicle would be completed. Monica is great to work with. Thank you!

My experience with Jake's Auto was more than fantastic. Their motto is "The friendliest little repair shop in Draper" and boy do they mean it! Those working up front were so kind and personable. The issue with my car was unique and they were open to all repair options. They also have a very unique diagnosing system where pictures, videos, and descriptions from the mechanic come straight to you. This provided a sense of confidence and clarity that these guys knew what they were doing and weren't trying to sneak a couple extra bucks out of my pocket. I would suggest Jake's to everyone!

We ve used Jake s auto for years. I wouldn t take my car anywhere else. They ve never overcharged, skilled, and wonderful customer service. They always go the extra mile and even when they are busy and you have a question they re right there to fix the problem the best they can. Thank you!!

I have never been to a mechanic shop that treats you with so much respect. They go above and beyond. Dustin is amazing. And?Monica also. The whole staff. They are very picky. With your vehicle.

I don't do reviews very ofter (almost never) but Jake's Auto deserves the recognition. I needed to have my engine replaced (a stupid mistake I made). I called several repair shops and Jake's was the only one that asked detailed questions to make sure they were ordering and quoting the correct engine with the correct features. Monica was very friendly and great to work with. It was not easy to find the correct engine. Once it was ordered we were told it could take up to 2 weeks to arrive. The engine arrived a lot earlier than expected and the mechanics worked late into the evening to get it replaced so that we could get our vehicle back a lot sooner than we had anticipated. I have always been a little skeptical of mechanics and repair shops (let's say I have had a few bad experiences) however, I would not hesitate going back to Jake's or recommending them to any of my friends and family.

I felt like I was hunting unicorns looking for someone willing and confident to work on my diesel gmc 2500. Jakes auto came as a recommendation from my brother after feeling defeated in my search. There is a diag fee but there's such a high value attached to it. You'll receive a full inspection of any problems found with your vehicle and photos to back their findings. (It's this takes a good deal of time) A quote will be given for discovered tasks. For a quality shop I felt that the prices were very fair and did not differ from what was quoted up front. In my experience take your vehicles to jakes auto with confidence.

Very friendly staff. I ve been getting my car serviced here for several years now. The waiting area is so comfortable and clean. I bring a book and relax. The diagnostic is very thorough. I ve never been offered an unnecessary service. No up selling. Highly recommend

I have an older truck so it could use alot of TLC but they were careful not to over prescribe my trucks needs. They communicated well their diagnostics, worked quickly and got me back on the road. My truck has other issues and I will be sure to return to there service when needed. I have recently moved to the Salt Lake valley and was recommended to Jake s auto. After having a failed emissions test, I took my Jeep to them to resolve the issues. Monica and Tanya were super responsive to my needs and went above and beyond in helping me get everything squared away. My fianc� took her car here and they 100% took advantage of her. She wasn t communicated to or quoted any prices when she dropped off her car. Jake s took two days to diagnose what was wrong with her car and then charged her over $300 in diagnostic fees - which weren t communicated initially. Reading through some other reviews, it looks like this is a common issue. I wouldn t recommend Jake s to anyone.

Updating a previous review that I posted a month ago.Monica called me after she saw my earlier review and after a long discussion about the brakes, I agreed to take my car back to Jake's. They replaced/repaired the front rotors and brake pads. They also replaced the engine oil filter cap which they said was faulty and leaking, but after taking my car home I discovered something else was leaking because I had put cardboard under the car.I took the car back again and they were able to finally locate and fix the leak. Although I had to take my car back 3 times, Jake's finally repaired my car so it is now running properly. Furthermore, Monica waived all the charges for all these repairs. That shows me that Jake's is honest, reputable and has integrity. I will continue to take my car to Jake's for service.__________I asked them to fix the brakes - replace the rotors and brake pads but they said the wear was minimal and still within spec. So the repair wasn t done, yet they they still charged me $78.00 to test drive the car to confirm what I had already told them was wrong with the car.I m very disappointed as I ve been taking my car to Jake s for nearly 20 years. But now I m thinking of finding a new repair shop. I feel like I ve been scammed!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

We love this place. Monica is great. They are not the cheapest but we keep coming back because they are honest, forward, transparent, and make things right if there is a mistake or misunderstanding, which more than pays for itself in the long run. We've been using Jake's for maintenance on our 2006 GMC Savana van for many years and recommend them highly.

Jake's Auto (Monica, Dustin and team) did a good job and I believe gave an honest diagnostic and repair of my vehicle's cooling system. I had previously taken my Xterra to another shop which said I had a much more complicated repair and recommended that I just get another engine. Dustin fixed the real problem and took time to thoroughly test and drive it, all at a reasonable price. Monica kept me informed and they were very nice and prompt. Very thoughtful inspection and thorough work on my Jeep as if it was their own. They did everything I requested & are very open about any process. Jake s Auto naturally kept me involved, it all around felt like a very healthy business, giving me peace of mind. They will gladly put your budget and decisions on ordering parts & repair first. Their Lead tech does a fine job - he will make sure to do every job right. All their support staff is also knowledgeable and very friendly which is a nice change of pace and trust to have with a shop!
