Ive always loved grease monkey and have been going to various locations for years for routine oil changes. I dont want to leave a negative review especially since i realize ive never left a positive review for countless good interactions. However, I do want this to be addressed because the inspections can save people thousands in repairs down the road when they're actually done (and make grease monkey more money)In the past the tech would always show me my air filters even if they were clean. Which is something I've always appreciated about grease monkey. I've felt that there is a level of honesty there showing me the filter and saying it's still good rather then always trying to upsale. However, I recently moved and this location is closest to me so the last two times I've gotten my car serviced it's been at this location.Each time they haven't said anything about any filters or any findings on the 16 pt. inspection they do. My review is about my concern of whether or not they actually are doing the inspections. After I got home I thought there is no way my filters are still clean after they have gone through the mileage of at least two whole oil changes. (I don't remember if they were changed on the oil changes 3 changes ago but they definitely werent the two times i visited this location)So I pulled my engine air filter out and this attached picture is of how dirty it is. It makes you think what else are they really checking?Generally I do most of my car maintenence on my own, coolant changes, brake swaps, and other small things. Obviously I should add filters to that list since they take less then a minute to change and i can get them half price delivered right to my doorstep. I've never found the hassle and cleanup of doing an oil change and properly disposing of the oil worth the small amount you save. Pairing convenience with preventative inspections I've always felt the better value is to get it done somewhere. Unfortunately I'm concerned that this location isn't actually doing the inspections. To be clear - I'm not upset that they didn't try to upsale the filters - I'm concerned that they aren't actually checking these things. They marked both filters good on the inspection section of the receipt when clearly they aren't. What else did they not really check on the inspection?I also asked for a tire rotation and the person ringing me up said they did it, but I don't really know if they did do it. It doesn't show it anywhere on my receipt and i definitely wasnt charged for one, but there isnt anything showing it was done. If I needed to warranty my tires, the tire place is going to want to see proof that I rotated them on schedule. So now what do I do?I'll probably continue to give grease monkey my business but it won't be this location.

We went in for an emissions test an was able to get right in. The test only took a few minutes and we were on our way. The staff was very friendly and took care of our needs! We had a very positive experience!

I had already purchased brake pads, and they were willing to install them, unlike most shops. They took my car back almost right away, and about an hour and a half later, they were done. The price was great compared to other shops. The technician and manager? (I didn't catch his name, but he has a red beard ) walked me through his checks, and I've had no issues, only peace of mind. Thank you for doing a great job!

I want to thank the team at Grease Monkey located in Draper, Utah for their excellent customer service that I received today. I took my vehicle in to get an oil change and an emissions test. They were friendly, communicative, and very quick! I appreciate the customer-focus and teamwork they exhibited. Keep up the great work!

I spent a total of 42 minutes here today. Two employees were working on a personal car in the parking lot, while 2 others were actually in the bays helping customers.Once my oil change was completed and my car was pulled outside, I waited 13 minutes before anyone came inside to speak to me or take my payment.While in the shop, not all of the items that were on my receipt were checked.Service: Oil change

I came here a few weeks back on a weekday at about 6pm. Knowing that they were open until 7pm, I figured I could get my oil change done. I pulled up and the bays were all open, but there wasn t a single soul around. I walked into the office, which was open, but no one was around. I waited around for a few minutes to see if someone would show their face, but I was out of luck. I m not sure what the deal was, but I was definitely annoyed by this. Not sure if your hours need to be updated, but if you re open until 7pm, then please have workers there until 7pm.

Got my Emissions test done here. Was in and out in 15 minutes. They have a restroom and small seating area with a TV. They also sell batteries and do oil changes. Look for coupons on their website to save a few bucks. Will go here again next year.

Last time I went, I was told they couldn t do a tire rotation with my oil and filter change because they were too busy and was sent to Jiffy Lube. Today I went and waited, and waited, and waited some more and was not even greeted by an employee. I had to leave. While I waited there, I realized the red car waiting for tire rotation last time was parked there again. Seem like employees park there to avoid having to do what they get paid to do. This location needs better new employees.

I would not recommend an oil change here, especially for an Audi.They did not put the cap on properly and oil spilled all under the hood and onto my driveway.I ll give them credit for coming up to my home to fix, but failed to follow through on making sure my car was inspected for damage and cleaning up my driveway. Spend the extra money if you have a nice car and go somewhere reliable.

I have now had this happen two times in a row. I run down to my local Draper grease monkey to get an emissions test done so I can get my vehicle registered. I waited 25 minutes (which is how long they said my wait would be) and saw that my vehicle hadn't been pulled into the bay yet. I check back and am told it will be at least another 40 minutes and it would probably be better if I went down the block to jiffy lube. I've been told twice now by Grease Monkey to take my vehicle to Jiffy Lube. I'll just save me and you a trip and go to Jiffy Lube first from now on.

In and out in under 10 minutes for the second time in a row, I don't expect it but it's appreciated. Never get bombarded with the usual "recommendations" but have directed my attention to important details on occasion.

We are headed on a road trip, and so I wanted to get my brakes checked. They were not able to perform any work, but did take a brief look at my brakes, just while it was parked in front of the garage. There were two younger guys that checked them out. They were very nice and helpful. They said my front brakes were bad, and the back ones were OK, but need work soonish. Since they couldn't do it before our trip, I called another place. This place raised our vehicle up to take a closer look and they said the front brakes were perfectly fine, but the rear brake pads definitely needed replacing. I guess I'm going to trust the ones that were able to take a closer look... The guys at grease monkey were kind to quickly look, and so perhaps looking at the outside doesn't provide the best view of the brakes and they would have noticed better when going to do the work....

My review from a year ago is below. I just went in today and it isn't the same place. I pulled up to two empty bays with 3 people standing around. I waited for one of the guys to indicate which of the two empty bays they prefer I go in. None of them made eye xintactvwith me for about 30 seconds, so I started pulling forward and signalled with a confused face, asking which bay to go in. He finally came over and told me it didn't matter.In the waiting room I witnessed the sales guy telling a younger girl that she had to have synthetic (which isn't true) and then came back 1 min later with her air filter, which looked great but had a gasket that was off the filter for about a six inch section. He told her it needed to be replaced. Then he walked by me and off the cuff said I had to have mobile one because of my car (which I was going to choose anyway, but I didn't appreciate the downward strong arm tone he used to make it seem like I had no option). In the same tone and without checking said it would probably be $30 more because my car needed 8 quarts of oil (it needs 6.9 quarts, which I knew going into it). Then I sat there for 20 min, only to find out they didn't have my oil filter in stock because they didn't bother to verify this information when I pulled up. I won't return to this store and, in my opinion, you should consider if there is another place within a few miles that you like and maybe go there.Outdated review from 2017 when things were good here:This was the fastest easiest oil change experience I have ever had...ever. I was in and out in 11 minutes. I sat down expecting to have to wait around for 40 minutes just to find out I would need to wait another 20 min. Nope. I made one phone call, went to check the window that showed the vehicle bays and I couldn't find my car. It had already been pulled around and was waiting for me. I was dumbfounded. I wish I could give more than five stars for this experience.

Needed break inspected and repaired if needed. Jesse inspected the car breaks and gave very honest opinion that they were good do not need work right away. He was friendly yet professional in explaining what to look for when the breaks need work. I appreciated his honesty in telling customers what is necessary. We have good experiences. I would recommend this place for oil changes, inspections etc.
