Service is great and the price is right. We had our vehicle emissions done here, and they were quick to get us in and out. We also had them work on our Dodge Ram, and with the amount of work that needed to be done, I was impressed with the time it took and the price we paid. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

The people at Denny s Auto in Draper are amazing! They are very kind and personable. Their prices are reasonable and the quality of work is great. They really care about their customers. This will be my new regular auto repair shop!

We had our car in for an oil change and to fix a leak in the rear differential. Both jobs were completed, but the service tech left a pair of pliers in the engine compartment, and he apparently lost a clip to the air cleaner cover. We returned the pliers. There was no damage, but its a good idea to always check for tools before closing the hood. Denny's replaced the clip at no charge.

UPDATE: Denny s clarified their quote in a response to me. It was a simple miscommunication when I was quoted triple what three other repair shops quoted me. They are, as it turns out, competitively priced.5 stars for their politeness over the phone. 5 stars for the professionalism.Revised from 3 stars to 5 stars. Thanks Denny s!

These guys are a breath of fresh air. I m always leery about using a new mechanic shop- this one was no different. I d been having alot of trouble with my car- it actually died right as I pulled into their parking lot. They were totally understanding and they d have it pushed into the bay. They were friendly and professional to deal with. They called me the next day with the results- simply a defective battery. They didn t give some creative laundry list of things that needed to be done. Long story short- they fixed it. Runs great. Best part is- I had a hanging bumper- they attached it . Didn t charge me or even tell me- I found it when I got home. Thanks guys- your definitely my shop!!Service: Auto battery replacement

Well unfortunately this former wonderful shop has sold out to the corporate world and trying to pass itself off and the local owned shop. I gave them a 5 star in the past but after my last experience I will never go back. Wrong diagnosis then later when I did need a new alternator they tried to charge me an outrageous amount. A rebuilt one with a two year warranty was $75 more than a brand new best one at AutoZone with a lifetime warranty. And about $200 an hour for labor. Only reason it s a 2 instead of a 1 is they had the same two people up front who are really nice and helpful.

This place is a scam. The old owner (Star Boys Auto) was incredible. I did not realize it had sold, otherwise I would not have left it with them. You will be charged a fee even just to get a quote (called 3 other shops in the area, they do not charge a fee so when the owner replies to this review with his excuse for this out of date practice, it is a lie). Unfortunately I was in a bind and had to get my car into the first place I could. I told him when I walked in that I had an extended warranty, and he apparently took that as me saying I wanted him to replace every part on the vehicle. See the attached repair order he sent me after I rejected his service. Keep in mind, I brought the car in for a transmission issue. The shop I took it to after said nothing about any of the other parts he wanted to replace and upcharge 80-100%. He wanted $6,800 for a transmission! Mind you, he was not selling me the part (part was supposedly on back order, so the warranty company was ordering, paying for and warrantying the part) but he still felt entitled enough to mark it up (likely more than 80%). Every person I have talked to, including 3 different repair shops in the area and the warranty company themselves laughed when I told them that price. This place is not worth it. They are a dishonest business using the excuse of "excellent service" and "employee compensation" as a reason to charge exorbitant prices for lack luster service. This location is no longer what it used to be.There is a happy ending, I took my car (paid the guy $300.00 for a QUOTE) and the repair is being done at a much lower price.AMCO in Sandy and Tunex in South Jordan are excellent alternatives to this place.EDIT POST OWNER REPLY: As I said, he would go out of his way to defend his out of date practice of charging exorbitant amounts. It WAS disclosed to me that I would be charged for a $300 diagnosis fee, however he defended that by saying the warranty would cover it if I let him do the repairs. Again, thinking he would be fair and honest like the old Star Boys owner, I said that would be fine. As it turns out, he is the complete opposite. Decided to charge for parts that he WOULD NOT BE SELLING ME. The warranty company would have bought the part, and warrantied it. So he either is charging a markup on a part he has NO RIGHT to, or his labor rates are completely out of wack. The Alldata software has this job at a max 11 labor hours. A $6800 repair (if he is not charging for parts) puts his labor rate at $618.18/hour!! So what is it? Is he marking up a part that again he has no right to even charge me for (because it is paid for and provided by someone else), or is he charging 6x what every other repair shop in the state of Utah charges for labor? This alone should be enough to incentivize anyone reading this to STAY AWAY! He again defended this with excellent customer service (not) and employee compensation . I hope this shop gets what they deserve once people realize what a joke this business is. Very sad to see a company loved by so many in this community be destroyed by greed.UPDATE: As if I needed confirmation that this company is a scam, it was confirmed when the new shop it is at charged me $3,500 for the exact same repair, and they were able to find the part for me. Meaning they are actually the ones selling me the part, and it will still cost half what this shop quoted. Beware or predatory businesses, such as this one!

I recently visited this mechanic for an oil pan repair, which turned out to be overpriced compared to other dealerships. Despite their recommendation to fix the valve gasket cover, I opted to address the immediate oil pan issue. A week later, I experienced a massive oil leak, and upon seeking a second opinion, it was evident that the initial repair was poorly executed.Not only did I discover a subpar job on the oil pan, but the staff misled me about the severity of the gasket leak. Additionally, the owner's unprofessional behavior, including swearing and demeaning remarks towards the staff, left me deeply dissatisfied. I advise caution when considering this establishment for automotive services.

We were on the road with our RV and our power cable to the tow behind vehicle got shredded. We tried so many places that basically just turned us away. Star Boys really saved us on spot. Everyone was amazing with a plethora of knowledge. I would highly recommend Star Boys to anyone in the Draper UT area. Any company with the service, and respect, they delivered is hard to come by.Thanks again to you all over at Star Boys. We made it with no issues. Cheers!

When my car started having issues, they were able to quickly get my car in even though it was a holiday week . They were extremely fast and efficient at finding and fixing the issue.

Very nice, took a truck in for a pre-purchase inspection and they even took the time to bring me back and physically show me some of their worries and explain things. Plus the electronic report and pricing was appreciated as well

These guys treated me right. They solved my car problems quickly and cheaply. When replacing my window motor, they cracked my speaker cover. I never would have noticed, but they offered to fix it for free as soon as the part comes in! I ll be back for sure.
