I was traveling through and had a transmission issue. After thorough diagnosis to pinpoint the issue , they were able to get the part and get me back on the road in no time. Dallas and his crew do quality work. I highly recommend them.

Took my truck to Dallas and his crew a few months back, the ECU on my truck was bad and he hadn t seen the issue much in the past for my model. Before he recommended I spend a fair amount of money on a replacement he took the time to do a few extra tests to make sure he was right. Really appreciate him taking the time to do that rather than just recommending I replace it without being sure. It did end up being the problem and they got it all taken care of

Recently ran across this place on an RV trip. Truck started leaking coolant and these guys were awesome! Turned out to be a leaking hose and they had it fixed in a few minutes. These guys are upfront and honest and even offered a ride back to my campsite while I was waiting on the diagnosis. If you are in the area and need some repair work then I will highly recommend this place.

Traveling across the country I found I had a coolant leak. I found Summit Auto Repair close by with good Google reviews. I called and spoke with Dallas who asked me to bring it over. Derrick quickly diagnosed a cracked radiator. Dallas kindly drove me back to my accommodation and 3 hours later picked me up with my truck, new radiator and oil changed.These are good people, I recommend them to anyone needing good quality, affordable and timely auto repairs and excellent customer service.Thank you.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Very honest and trustworthy.Great group of guys that know their profession. If I lived anywhere close this is the only place I would ever take my vehicle. If I coukd leave more than 5 stars I would.Dallas and crew are the kind of people I would like to buy a beer and have a BBQ with.Great people that do good honest work and you can tell they care about what they do.Highly recommend!Service: Engine repair

We just moved to the area and needed our ac fixed. Our truck had been at a neighboring mechanic who failed to fix it twice. Summit took great care of us and fixed the problem right away. I broke down in my '91 Ford Ranger driving on I-80 near Wanship, and got towed back to Summit Auto in Coalville. The guys there were very helpful in looking at what was up with my Ranger. It turned out that my timing was way off, which they adjusted. My truck has been running great ever since. Very good service at a reasonable price.

Drivers side hub bearing decided to go out while doing 80 mph on I80 on my way to the airport. I limped the truck into coalville and Summit Auto repair by chance, thanks to Google. The shop was full, mechanics dressed accordingly, and building was kept well for an auto shop. The owner got the parts ordered immediately and squeezed me in after the parts showed. Service was quick and skillful and I can't say enough about a business that takes care of a stranded stranger.

This is a little hidden gem.. I highly recommend this team. Dallas and his team are great guys, super honest and very reasonable. If you just want an honest mechanic to see what you need. He said he would fix the problems! Opened up the motor found more issues than said he would not finish the job unless we bought a new motor! Well I said I would take the loss. He said it will be 750$ for labor so far and would put it back together! I come to pick up the vehicle and it s not put together and says it s gonna be $500! We did not agree to that. Takes for ever to get back to you! Personally think bad service all around!

My Subaru was overheating while driving through Coalville. Summit auto repair came highly recommend by the Napa Autoparts staff. These guys specialize in diesels but were more than willing to drop everything and help me diagnose my cooling problems. Well staffed and stocked garage with stripped down diesel blocks all over the place. I would definitely take my 7.3 powerstroke there if I ever had the need. Thanks again!

These guys know there stuff and get you back on the road as fast as they can get the parts. Most of the time they can tell you what's wrong over the phone.
