After getting a much higher quote from the first auto repair shop for a fuel pump replacement I called Elmer's and saved $600 with a fair and reasonable price. Thank you for the fair quick and friendly service.

I've been taking my cars to Elmer's since about 2013. They've never fixed anything without getting a price approval to me first. They're great at explaining what needs to be done, and why. They're also great at prioritizing fixes for you if you're on a budget. They're always fair. I usually ask them how far out they are on repairs and can get my car in and out relatively fast. Most recently had them recharge AC, replace shocks & rear brakes, and inspect & advise on an oil leak all in a day and a half. Highly recommend!

SOO helpful! Did a thorough assessment of my vehicle, then we decided what work I could do myself, & what work they would do, fitting all the repairs into my budget. I read all the reviews beforehand, & I'm very happy to say these guys are the real deal! I smelled gas but couldn't find a leak. Elmer's got my car in quickly, and replaced the broken parts. They kept me informed of the troubleshooting and repair and got my permission to proceed when appropriate. Service was excellent, fast, and friendly. Cost was fair. Took a car from a dealership to this mechanic and was the only mechanic in town that could see us the same day. They told us it would take an hour to inspect the vehicle, and got it done a little faster! They did a thorough inspection and let us know of things so we could make an informed decision about buying the car. Very grateful for these guys' honesty, pricing, and availability. Fantastic experience. This is the second time I have used Elmers and I ve been beyond pleased both times. They finished a major repair quickly, they were willing to explain what went wrong and how I can prevent further issues. WOW!!!! I m reading some of these reviews on Elmer s Auto Clinic and I have to wonder about some of these reviews, especially these one star reviews. I have been dealing with Elmer s since I moved here twenty years ago. They have service all my vehicles, my children s cars, and I have referred them to all my friends and family in the area - nothing but the best. I have even sent in several co-worker that couldn t get things fixed at other garage s and Elmer hit a home run and gained their business. I have to ask if you didn t Receive the best service did you go an actually talk to them. I have never seen or heard of them not doing their best or making it right for the customer. I was in there once and listen to a customer complain over their old car dying after an oil change. They towed it in to find out the fuel system died. Last time I check oil system and fuel systems are two different issues. Just had them put a new pack and pinion and some AC work on my wife s car, back on the road in just two days and it s awesome. Great work Elmer s, thanks for always being the shop that I can ALWAYS count on. Highly recommended!!!!!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Air conditioning

Best auto mechanics in UT!Every time I go to Elmer's Auto Clinic I'm happy! They can fix any automotive problem, the high quality mechanic(s) can and will trouble shoot any issue, large or small. The price is always fair and upfront. Their recommendations help me keep on track with maintenance, what to expect in the future, and how to plan for any possibility on the road ahead. These guys/gals are trustworthy, reliable, and have your vehicle ready ASAP. Regardless of where I live in UT, I will always take my business to Elmer's because I know I'll receive quality workmanship and I will be appreciated as a valued customer, Thank you :)

Specialize with Audi s and other European brands. They have gone beyond their general service parameters to get the job done right. Excellent service and friendly mechanics. Will definitely come back for future services.Also an APR dealer.

I've had a positive experience at Elmer's. I've brought cars here 3 times now. They have been honest and fair in their assessments and fixes. One time they charged $2 for a fix, another time they charged nothing because they couldn't reproduce a problem. I would highly recommend them.

They were awesome. I had my car towed to their parking lot the day before my appt. And by the end of the day they had it diagnosed. It was ready the next morning. A little pricey for my alternator but I imagine it's because of how fast they got it done I could have told them it wasnt a rush job and that may have saved some money ..overall excellent service

They made time on short notice to inspect a car we ended up buying. The inspection was very thorough and it helped to be able to show what repairs needed to be done as we negotiated. They did a great job and we would definitely use them again.

Being a man it pains me to admit that my expertise in automotives ends with an oil change. So when I go Elmer's I feel confident that I'm not being sold on brake light fluid because they are more than happy to explain the problem and even show it to me. Elmer's had never tried to sell me on anything else that's not needed or try to upsell me on something more expensive just to fatten their pockets they've always given me fair and honest quotes on everything and recommendations when needed. Fast and friendly service that's made me a happy customer for years.

Had a loud noise coming from my right front wheel. They got me in the next day and had it diagnosed really quick with a bad wheel bearing. Gave me a quote over the phone and had it fixed the same day. Very quick and Friendly service. Their recommendation to replace bad wheel bearing fixed the loud noise. Great experience!

My car had some serious issues and they knew exactly what it was just by popping the hood. When I got it back everything was working way better than it was my check engine light was on for months and was all related to a broken intake manifold. Needless to say all lights are out now too. Every shop kept saying I needed new O2 sensors. Well I don t need them apparently. Great work, cool people and a very fair price.

I love this shop! I take my vehicles here all the time. This last time going there they were able to fix my heater hose so quickly so I could have my vehicle back the same day! I highly recommend.

Devastating damage was done to my engine in 2011. My idler pulley snapped on my engine which caused my timing belt to fail. The valves on my engine were bent and it damaged other parts when this happened while driving on the highway. The car was a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo. I had close to 80,000 miles on the car when this happened.Elmer's charged me a fair price of about $1,890 to replace the bent valves and replace my engine head. The technician there said he would guarantee his work for 12,000 miles on the engine. Now it has been 55,000 miles since the repairs were done. The work done was great. I would recommend these technicians. They seem honest to me.

I've been getting my GMC serviced here for over three years now. It's good service at a fair price and conveniently located so that while my truck gets service I can shop around. They will also drop you at your home and pick you up later if its an all day-long job. Highly Recommended!

I like to think I m a good judge of character as I deal with a wide array of clients everyday and have learned to spot sincereness vs those who use will use you if it benefits themself. I m also very skeptical of auto shops. So it came as a surprise to me how impressed I was with these guys over simply coming in for a used car inspection on a car I m contemplating purchasing in the area.I won t give all the details of my experience, but suffice it to say it was 100% clear to me that these guys have your best interests at heart. They re master mechanics who run a first class business of realizing customers mean everything. I can tell they take pride in their reputation even above making money. Kudos, it s refreshing!I will definitely be recommending this shop to friends and using them myself in the future.

I worked here for a while and have to say the owners are very ethical. They will not just throw parts at a car to make money. They will fix the main concern and notify the customers of potential problems that may arise.

I bought the 2007 A4 Avant when it came back in to the dealership after a 3-year lease. It was a nice ride.Right away, got it chipped with Unitronic (stage 2) and it shoved just enough to be fun.Over the last 4-5 years, it was never quite right. PCV issues (replaced twice), burping and hesitation under boost, check engine light coming on all the time. Just a gigantic pain in the *** and expensive too because the whole time I'm going to the shop and no one seems able to pin-point the problem.Well, after one visit to Elmers, the car works better than it has EVER worked. They plugged it in like a patient at the intensive care unit in a hospital, and went over the dang thing. With the information that I was able to give them (about the previous 4-5 years of annoyances), the paperwork from the shops I had used before and the work they'd done, and then their own diagnostic, they quickly homed in on the fuel pump in the gas tank. That thing was TOAST and I guess it was probably junk shortly after I bought the car from an AUDI dealership after it came back from a 3-year lease. Turns out the pump had been fiddled with/replaced during that first customer's lease (before I bought the car) and I would guess an inexperienced mechanic or a shady dealership service culture happened there. It was all messed up in there. Elmers was able to replace the bad pump with a new OEM one and get everything straightened out.Since I can't find 93-94 octane at the pump out here in Utah (as opposed to everywhere on the East coast), I had them get rid of Unitronic Stage 2 and flash my rig with an APR Stage 1 for 91 octane.Basically, I love my old 6-speed Audi wagon again. Thanks, guys.P.S.: Mike, thanks for taking me on a joy ride in your monster K4 turbo S4 while I waited for the job to finish!

Excellent service, very quick. Was able to get my rig in the shop right away, even when everybody else told me I had to wait at least 3 or 4 days. Will defiantly return for future car care needs.

Purchased a used truck from a nearby dealer, found these guys online and set up an appointment to get a used vehicular inspection. These guys went through everything! Best part is they had the patients to let me hang around an learn from them about my soon to be vehicle. They definitely knew there stuff. They also gave me leverage with the dealership which saved me alot of money.Bottom line, I'd recommend these guys.
