I brought 2 skylines with me when I moved here from Japan. I was worried about finding maintenance for them, but D-Spare was able to do everything so far. They did some routine maintenance on an R30 and then ran logistics to repair the steering rack for my GTR32. Pretty timely and reasonable pricing so no complaints from me. Finally, Jesse is a great community rep. Always kept me up to date and asked/answered questions with no issues.

Took my Subaru in to have the exhaust system swapped back to stock and an exhaust leak fixed. Brandon, Jake, Jesse and crew are awesome! They helped me find a used OEM exhaust and fixed everything at a reasonable price. The car runs and sounds amazing now. They tuned up my 1979 propane Jeep Honcho prior and it runs like a champ now. I live in SLC but drive to Clearfield because D-Spare is honest and has great customer service. I highly recommend them!

these guys are the real deal! they do a great job and are very quick. ive dealt with them in the past and these guys have always truly been 100% AUTHENTIC and TRANSPARENT. never throwing out super complicated terminology that the average person wouldn t understand and also not talking to you like you cant tell a steering wheel from a headlight. also not throwing in random charges or pressuring you into adding on purchases to the bill, other shops need to take notes. will definitely come back here for all my major jobs. thank you!Services: Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Battery

So pleased with my experience at D-Spare. Clutch was out on my Subaru WRX. Helped me with pricing options for clutch replacement, and got the parts in surprisingly fast. Very good communication on what was going on and what to expect, very fair priced work -- it definitely would've cost me more if I had gone to a Subaru dealership. They got the work done in a week and a half, and it would have been even sooner had they not found surprises once they got working. They found additional issues and were quick to address them with me. They even took care of going to the store to get a last-minute oil change and filter replacement done before they took it out for a test drive, and didn't cost me any more on this than it would've cost me elsewhere to get an oil change. Thank you D-Spare for great work and making sure my vehicle was well taken care of!

Was referred here by a tow truck driver I trusted, in a time of need. It quickly became clear why I was referred here. Not only are they knowledgeable in many cars, including modifications, but they genuinely care about you and your car. Jesse helped us and took time to answer any questions along the way. Prices, time frame for repairs, all was explained and completed, as he stated. Found my shop!!!!

D-Spare Garage is an oasis. I wanted to convert my 2j NA to an NA-T. After struggling to find a shop in Utah that has the know-how, a friend of mine referred me to D-Spare.My mind was blown with how willing they were to help with this huge project! In addition, I felt comfortable since my engine/ transmission combo is something they are very familiar with.I'm happy to say that the project was successful and pain free. I was updated on every step, new and known, regarding each moment of the process. Any wire harness or other parts needed, D-Spare either had or was able to source quickly.Their customer service is legit and straight forward, no BS. With huge projects like this, there's bound to be complications. When those complications arose, D-Spare would call me to inform me and provide not one, but multiple options to resolve the issues.Without a doubt they're the most transparent shop that is able to paint a picture of what they can do and actual come through with providing that masterpiece in the end. That's a lost ability and D-Spare Garage has the knowledge and ability to surpass your expectations.100% recommend this Garage to my friends/ family.

Stay away, unprofessional work and unacceptable product.Brandon Wicknick sold me a full setup of 1.5jz engine, trans, and engine management, which turned out to be junk. The engine was basically blown, low compression in 5th cylinder, smoking badly. Upon teardown piston showed signs of overheating and there was lots of scoring damage on piston and cylinder walls. Rod and main bearings were also all scored up, one was almost wore down to nothing. In addition, the "gt3076" turbo and "tial wastegate" he advertised in the listing were actually an ebay chinese $100 turbo (which was leaking oil) and a fake turbosmart wastegate. Not to mention his exhaust manifold was cracked and sloppily welded back together.Services: Transmission, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

Never have had an issue with d spare. They do too quality work. Very communicative. They know their stuff. They are very fast at getting the car back to you as soon as possible. Had my g35 coupe motor swapped by D Spare garage a few months ago and nothing bad has happened since. Definitely trust these guys to work on my car. First time at D-Spare, and an issue that I had been dealing with for almost a month at a different mechanics with no resolution in sight was solved within the day! Great shop for CNG, Natural Gas vehicles, and very knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend.

Had my turbo replaced on my is300 replaced was done within 2 weeks and they did a great job fixed other things too and the car runs so much better! Super friendly super informative and helped me along the whole way ! Highly recommend!

Always take great care of my automobiles. I can't say enough. Brandon and crew are the best in the business. I've taken my cars here for years. 5 total that have had a variety of work done. 2 trans 2 clutch, drive line multiple suspensions, breaks and coil packs. If you're looking for a great shop with amazing knowledgeable staff D-Spare is the spot, look no further!

They took care of my Lexus is 300 when it felt like all hope was lost I got rod knock from the previous owner running it low on oil so I had them replace my engine and now it runs amazing not alot of shops I would trust with that type of task but they know what they're doing and have fair prices plus they helped me with my clutch issue. They knew what was wrong right when I pulled in which was the pressure plate needed to be replaced. The car runs like a new is 300.Amazing shop!!

D-Spare is one of the last shops that will work on CNG (compressed natural gas) fueled vehicles. A neighbor referred me to them when I needed to get the CNG pressure tank in my 2000 Ford F150 inspected. Brandon went the extra mile in checking into some issues with the system and did the inspection. His price was very good as well.I highly recommend them!

I have a 1994 Chevy truck. I took it in for CNG issues. Once Brandon and company looked at my truck they told me strait up, that the equipment was too old and there was little they could do for it. However, I left the truck with them to see if they could get lucky. A day or so later they called me and said that they could not fix the old stuff but they could install a newer system for a very reasonable price. I agreed. Two and a half years later I am having troubles with it and Brandon took a look at it, made some adjustments and I am back on the road again. Best part is that he did the work as warranty even after 2+ years later.I am extremely impressed with his service and I would highly recommend him.

Brandon and his crew are amazing. They know their stuff and helped me just figure out this CNG vehicle we have only owned for a year. They helped read the codes, clear the codes and even filled my power steering fluid. This Illinois gal whose first car had no power steering had no idea there was a problem. Looking forward to passing emissions now that we know the way to have the computer read. Thanks for your help at no charge.

Do not recommend anyone there, they act like they built my engine! Paid over 4k for them to leave 3 bolts on the oil pan loose! And one of them is stripped! Had to rewire my RPM gauge cuz i don't think they know how to put it back after taking it off! Had to buy a new radio after i got it back, i asked him about the tune he didn't know what he did! The car still leaks the same after i got it back, he recommended me a power steering pump he said it's bad, it ended up low fluid because of the leak that they didn't even see! Added fluid to it and it's working fine! Now my car is at another shop getting fixed and rewired after their BS job!

These guys go above and beyond, and most importantly are honest with what the vehicle does or does not need done. They helped diagnose and resolve issues that made the car perform like it should. They even stayed late a few days to help get my 4Runner taken care of.
