Gary's Auto Repair is fabulous! My family has worked with them for 3 decades, first with Gary, then Levi!Levi is friendly, kind, knowledgeable, very fair, and straight with you on his recommendations. He's quick with diagnostic even when it's complicated. He's also the only guy in town that was willing to even look at my VW (or any of the German vehicles). LolAlso he doesn't just "mechanic talk" he helps you understand! Highly recommend!Thanks for your help!

We all know auto repairs can be expensive. So it very important to find a honest repair shop. I found Gary s Auto to be honest, reasonably priced and got the work done on time. Levi and his crew did a great job for me. I highly recommend them for repairs.

Hello Auto Enthusiasts... so, i took my Honda Civic to "Gary's Auto Repair" here in Cedar City ~ they changed a shock & fixed a few issues the car was having... very reasonable and fair ~ my car sounds awesome again!! thanks guys!!! Keep up the good work :)

Gary's was so amazing. My 1997 Chevy truck burned out coming north from St. George. Made it to Gary's north of Cedar City and Dusty helped us out so much. Checked and filled all the fluids, advised us on how to drive home to Layton (5 hours north) and was as friendly and helpful as could be. I had just finished a race and was not feeling well. Dusty filled up my tires as well and checked everything in my truck. So thankful for him and his willingness on a Saturday afternoon to help these damsels in distress Dusty, if u want a copy of the pic I took, lmk

I was headed to Brian Head and my Lexus overheated on the 15. I called AAA and had it towed to Gary's. I chose Gary's Auto Repair because of the 4.9 rating on Google reviews. Levi got me fixed up and back on the road in no time. I'm very grateful for the great service and the fact that they got me in, while at the same time, being extremely busy. This place is great and the only place I'd go if I ever need service repairs in the area. 5 STARS!!!!!Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance

My wife and I were traveling through Utah and had some trouble with an axle seal leaking. It s never a good time for car troubles but this was especially bad timing as we were on our way to Boston from California hauling a trailer with everything we own on it. There were other shops that said they could do the repairs quickly but after days the car was still sitting untouched. We decided to have it towed to Gary s and I must say everything they said they would do they delivered on. While they were working on the front differential a part broke but they were honest and upfront about this and had the part to replace it the next morning. Things like this happen in any type of service and it shows a high level of integrity for them to be upfront and take care of the problem. I don t usually write many reviews unless I feel a strong opinion either good or bad. These guys are great and very trustworthy. I even noticed there was a plastic piece that was broken (unrelated to the repairs) on my front driver wheel and they swapped it with one in my spare. One more thing that shows love and great attention to detail. Thanks guys the repairs were great and we made it to Boston safely with no troubles. Hopefully this review will help another potential customer make the right choice when it comes to trusting someone with their vehicle.

I get really great tires from garys Texaco. I never had a problem with them. they always had the best tires and worked well. Very reliable place to go and I wouldn't want to go to another shop for services and tires.Service: TiresService: Tires

The starter in my 05 Santa Fe went out on Wednesday and they were the closest shop. I called and they said they could get it in on Friday or Saturday, since it was labor day weekend. We brought the car Thursday night and it was ready very early Saturday morning! Fair pricing, quick work, honest guys. I appreciate the work and if I ever has issues with the car again I ll definitely go here. Thanks

Got a screw in my tire on a recent roadtrip. Panicking and unsure of where to go in what felt like the middle of nowhere, we called this place and they said they could take us immediately. In less than an hour and $21 later, the tire was fixed and we were back on our way! Got to our destination safely and without having to worry about the tire anymore. Thanks, guys!Ladies - The location might seem a little sketchy, but my wife and I felt safe the whole time. The mechanics were really respectful and professional.Highly recommend for tire patchwork!

On a very long road trip, I began to have a transmission or ptu issue. I called Dusty on a Saturday. I was only 20 miles out. He told me bring it by and he would take it for a drive.There was very little wait. He quickly diagnosed the problem and flushed the fluids. I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough he was. I was even more surprised when I got the bill. It was very fair and reasonable. In fact, it was probably less expensive then my mechanic back home would have charged.I don't think I could have found someone more knowledgeable, honest, or friendly if I tried.I guess if I have one regret is that, God willing, I will probably never have the opportunity to do business with them again. If you are local or having care troubles passing through, I would highly recommend these folks.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

These guys are great & charge a fair price for the work they do. I had to get new tires on my car fast, because I had to have my car for work that next morning. They were amazing & stayed past closing just to get them done! Id highly recommend going to Gary s Auto!

Been coming to Gary s Texaco for at least 10 years and have had all my cars worked on there. Levi is the best at diagnosing what is going with my cars and has given my family the best pricing.

On our way out of Cedar City, we noticed the vehicle becoming a bit choppy and had a decision between Gary s or O Reilly s, and everyone knows you don t get your code checked from O Reilly s, so, naturally, we chose the local place, (hosted by NAPA, btw); Levi was a pro. We talked some troubleshooting, and he presented the fact that there was a bit of a gamble on the first option. Our driver decided to roll on the risk; Levi made the fix swiftly, efficiently, and the problem was fixed!Couldn t recommend enough! Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

We were traveling through Cedar City on a Sunday and ran into car trouble. I called Monday morning and was told to bring it in and they would look at it when they could. Within 2 hours of arrival the car was fixed and ready to go. I am so thankful for Gary's and Levi for his help. These guys are honest and do a wonderful job. I would take my cars there if I lived close. It's harder to find honest, good people I would truly give 10 stars if I could. Thank you Levi!

Was broke down on the freeway with a radiator problem. Had the tow truck take my vehicle to Gary s I called him and asked if he could get us in and he said he would get us in the next morning when we got there he even gave us a ride around, trying to find a rental car, but that was unsuccessful as they all close to early. They made the repairs by installing a new radiator. These guys are great I highly recommend them.Services: Transmission, Auto maintenance

Gary s Texaco has been a life long reliability for me and my family. Any issue, or problem with any of our vehicles would be diagnosed and fixed efficiently and reasonably. With excellent customer service and transparency with price, and true care in what needed to be fixed. Gary s Texaco will always be the place to go if you want it fixed right, quickly, and for the most affordable prices in all of cedar city even southern Utah.

Coming from Las Vegas, we hit something on the tire and started running flat and quickly. Most places along the road could only get us in in an hour or two. Gary and his shop not only squeezed in our tire repair, but did it in an incredibly fast 20 minutes and got us back on the road in no time. The man and his crew are legends and definitely deserve your business!Service: Auto tire replacement

We are on a cross country trip home to Seattle when our Suburban started smoking! We called several other places in town, all who couldn t fit us in but recommended Gary s - are we are SO glad! Gary and Dusty were amazingly helpful and quickly helped us diagnosed the issue. We feel so blessed and thankful for their top notch service and expertise. We can t recommend them enough - and their prices were more than fair! Head here first if you need help

Gary's has been great! They are the best mechanics I've ever experienced. He calls and gives you prices up front with no hidden fees, and they are honest about the time it will take to do the repairs. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for an honest mechanic.

I was up a creek without a paddle! Came to Gary to help fix my mistake on my valve cover, he told me he probably could do anything until Monday or Tuesday. Left it with him and got a call 2 hours later telling me that it was ready to go! Can't tell you how grateful I am for Gary, Dusty, and Patrick! Very honest, affordable, and amazing. Really keeping that small town mechanic feel and excellent service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
