I ve taken a 4Runner in for a new clutch; they really did their due diligence so they didn t need to replace anything that wasn t broken. I also brought my wife s Corolla in for some maintenance.Both experiences were amazing, they treated my wife very well when she dropped off and picked up the car. Cedar Transmission and Auto really impressed us both as a shop with their communication and customer service.

Very very impressed! Here's an honest business with all the right tools and equipment to do anything! My car had a unique transmission that none of the other car places in town could do, but cedar transmission & automotive got me in, and done really quickly! They were up front about all the costs, and were diligent in looking for ways to do it cheaper! They really look out for their customers best interests! They saved me over $700 on what the dealership would charge me! They didn't have to drop the price, and I was willing to pay, but they did! Honesty! What else could anyone ask for? Way cool of them!!!! Felt very assured! Very knowledgeable and helpful! I'm going here for all my future needs! They had given me an initial estimate of price, later called and said they found a cheaper way to get it done without reducing quality! When I went in to pay, the service was $100 less than their estimate! Very satisfied and feel their prices are way fair! The owners of the shop themselves were in and were very cordial and laid back! Cool guys! Customer service like you don't find anymore! Would give them six stars if that was a thing! 100% recommended! My car also drove so smoothly afterwards! I can definitely feel the difference! I feel much better about my ride!

As an ex NYer, and now a 3 year Utah resident I didn t know any local privately owned repair shops to use. When the transmission gave up on my 2016 Chevy Silverado 4x4, i first tried a local new car dealer. They gave me a really ridiculously high price to replace my transmission. My girlfriend said she heard good things about Cedar Performance Transmission so i brought it there for an estimate. Good thing I did because not only did they give me a substantially lower price to do the work, but also alerted me to the unnecessary work the dealership was trying to charge me for. My truck is running like new again, thanks to Cedar Performance Transmission. I will be using them for all future repairs on all my cars. Thank you Bill and everyone at the shop.

My daughter had moved out to Cedar City and within a few weeks had a major problem with her car. Thought to be a transmission problem I had her car towed to Cedar Transmission & Automotive based on reviews and local recommendation. I am on the east coast and they were willing to work with me from that distance as I would be paying for the repair. They kept in touch with me and whenever I called were always helpful. I would highly recommend their services and I am grateful for their honesty, reliability and reasonable prices. While traveling from California to the east coast around midnight we limped into Cedar City with the warning lights flashing on the dash. I started calling auto repair shops at 8am, the first four numbers either didn t answer or were out of service. Then on my fifth try, Bill from Cedar City Transmission & Automotive Repair answered and things started to get better. He and his staff were very professional, they diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate, and even though his shop was busy they immediately began to work on my car in an effort to get us back on the road as soon as possible. Bill kept me informed updating me on the progress, and a couple hours later the repair was complete, the price was the same as estimated and we were back on the road. After spending several hours there watching and listening to all the activity and observing how Bill interacted with other customers and his employees I felt like he ran a very professional and trustworthy business. I also want to compliment them on the cleanliness of the bathroom and waiting room. It s been since August and my car is still running great thanks to Bill and his staff! I have got to say, cause thats all there is to say, they have a 5 Star Review and it speaks for itself !!! I run a Hotshot Trucking business, I drive well over 3,000 Miles a week, I had stopped at the Loves Truck Stop to sleep for the night in Cedar City, wake up next morning to Transmission fluid leaking I panicked, I had my trailer loaded and the recievers were expecting me THAT DAY !! I thought forsure I was gonna have to pospone my delivery date, or even worse have someone else come make my money :( Dealership was NOT an option as they arent known for speedy repairs. I called Cedar Transmission, Bill answered, super cool guy, the entire team was super welcoming. I explained to them my situation and they understood that I needed to get back on the road as soon as possible. Bill ordered the part, right away had someone on it to replace my transmission cooler line that was leaking, and had me back on the road by 2 HOURS !!! Really fair pricing, Special thanks to these guys, if your in town and need some help, DO NOT HESITATE !!!

Phenomenal service! I had my transmission replaced by a company in Salt Lake who recommended I bring it in for a check-up after 1000 miles, so I brought it here for the check-up. They got it in right away and didn t even charge me anything for the inspection!While I was waiting, I saw them working with several other customers, and they were very professional and helpful with everyone. Would definitely recommend!

Transmission didn t shift proper anymore, and Cedar Transmission s website looked like I place I want to do business with. Brought my car in and got 3 options what to do and explained the pro s and con s. The car was done early, by picking up they explained warranties and how to avoid another problem. They do amazing work and are very customer friendly.Service: Transmission

Professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff.Immaculate shop!!I came in with what I thought was a transmission fluid leak, within a short time of dropping off my vehicle I got a phone call from the shop.I had a faulty radiator hose that was causing a leak that I mistook for my transmission.This company was HONEST and repaired the hose in a timely manner for a fair price.Would recommend Cedar Transmission to anyone needing work on their vehicle!!

These people were absolutely great and professional!!. We blew a transmission seal on our van while on vacation from CA. Had vehicle towed to Cedar City from Great Basin NP and taken to Cedar Performance Transmission and Automotive as per a recommendation from my brother in law who lives there. They immediately began to diagnose and work the problem the next business day and completed the repair the following day. Many thanks to Bill the manager who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Got us back on the road and checked our progress throughout the remainder of the trip. Bill and his staff are super organized, efficient and take really good care of their customers. From start to finish, excellent communication and all of the timelines, when the parts would be in to completion of work, were spot on. Once they got the parts, my car was ready in 24 hours. My daughter is attending college in Cedar City and called me after her vehicle broke down. After speaking with the tow truck driver, he recommended this shop above all others in the area. This was the best possible advice I could have been given.What we thought was a transmission failure turned out to be a wiring chafing issue. They also found a leak in the seal to one of the axles. Clearly, they have could have told me whatever they wanted and charged a lot more instead of diagnosing and fixing the specific problem.My daughter said the vehicle shifts better than it ever has and I'm assured she has a safe reliable vehicle to drive.I appreciate the honesty, integrity and great service, even when I never met anyone from the shop in person, handling everything over the phone from a state away.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Lacks integrity. Beautifully written response to cover for the fact that you repeatedly lied and mislead me for over a week until I finally decided your shop couldn't be trusted to do the work. it went from 3rd in line on a tuesday to 13th in line after you had it for a week and a day yet did no work, then you told me the work had been completed and you hadn't even started. yeah YOU work on that Bill.

These people are very unprofessional. Called them and towed a vehicle from Nevada to them, was told that they couldn t fix it that it was not cost effective to fix without even being able to tell me anything specifically wrong. THEN I paid them over the phone and was told I had some time to come get it. Exactly 1 week later I was called and told that I either come get it or they are parking it on the street. Classy

These guys are awesome. I took my son's car there; He goes to SUU. being a college study and on a budget. They recommended he try a couple of things before dropping it off, when all else failed they looked at it and fixed it. They also followed up to make sure it was still working. My car was diagnosed with transmission problems specifically loss of power. Cedar performance was recommended as the place I should go to see about my problems. Big O gave me the codes that had come from the diagnostic exam. Bill at Cedar Performance knew immediately on seeing the codes what was wrong. He gave me excellent advise, cleared the codes and explained what was happening and what I could expect. I decided to get the transmission fluids changed to try and help the transmission last a little longer while I looked for a new car. I was very pleased with the service and help I was given. They did everything quickly and followed up to see if it was working okay the next day. This place was a real lifesaver, our Bus broke down as we were driving across country right outside of town and we were lucky enough to find this place. They worked extra hard to get us fixed up while we. Amped at the campground across the street, I even watched them working after close to help get me on my way. The owner was helpful and straight forward and easy to work with and accepted all my annoying calls and questions. They got us back on the road in three days and I will forever by grateful.

I'm glad I listened to the recommendation of a local tow truck driver after my 2016 Mazda broke down outside of Cedar City. My plan was to go elsewhere but he told me Bill would take care of me, and I wasn't at all let down.Cedar Performance found me a used transmission at a great deal and the car has been running perfectly since, but I especially appreciated having a personal text checking in a few days afterwards to make sure everything was working well.While I did have to wait for the part to arrive, I'm very happy with the communication, quality of the work, and having a lower cost option than I might have had otherwise.Service: Transmission

Needed a new transmission and Bill was awesome to work with! Explained options and pricing without any pressure and ordered me a new transmission and got it installed just in time to go racing in California. He contacted me the following week to check up that the truck was working good and even did a free inspection to make sure everything was good. I dropped a lot of money getting a built transmission through them, and would do it again in a heartbeat and plan to take my future needs to them.Service: Transmission

Simply the best. We were fortunate to have such a great transmission shop help us with our F150 in the middle of a trip. The guys at Cedar were amazing to say the least. I have been taking my 2008 Mazda Tribute in for various service for several years. The service is superior. They trouble shot an exhaust issue that the dealership couldn t find. Otherwise the quality and value are always excellent. Bill is very courteous and honest. I had such a great experience with Bill at Cedar Performance- would highly recommend him and this place if you need work done on your transmission. I was blown away by his awesome customer service- which was such a relief in the midst of the transmission chaos with my car. He even gave us a ride down the street to the rental car company! I brought my car in and it was finished with no issues within a few business days. 10/10 experience, would rate higher if I could!

We had transmission issues on a drive down to So Cal. We made it here and the reviews helped me know they would be honest. After checking the fluids the team was honest and suggested I get a flush and replace it the fluids. They also pointed out that the ATF cooler I had added was horribly installed.After performing the work and telling us to go slow we made it to our destination. Great people to work with.

Fortunately my vehicle got an all expense paid trip, courtesy of yours truly, to Cedar Performance. Unfortunately I was the one towed into Cedar city on a Sunday after my vehicle broke down....where nothing is open on a Sunday. Made an extra night of it, hit up Cedar performance first thing Monday morning and was completely taken care of. The customer service I received is something you don't find anymore. My car stayed an extra week to get a new transmission and Cedar performance kept in touch with me and was very detailed about what was happening. Came back a week later to pick it up and take it home. Runs beautifully well, better than it ever has. Hands down best customer service I have received in a very long time.Service: Transmission

My check engine light came on and I took my truck to five different shops. They all said they couldn't diagnose or fix the problem. Cedar Performance drove my truck around the block once and knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. They went out of their way to help me and did a great job. I had transmission trouble when visiting Cedar City and was really happy to find a great transmission shop when I needed one. The people that work there are knowledgeable and great to work with. They got my truck up and running quickly again so I could continue back to San Diego. The truck now performs better than when it came from the factory and I was very impressed with the quality and attention to detail in their work.

We were traveling through Cedar City and stopped at a gas station only to have our car not start and the all wheel drive warning light come on. I read reviews and saw that Cedar Performance had great reviews. When we called Bill, he was out to lunch and told us he would come back to the shop soon and also told us who we could get to tow our car there. He rushed back from lunch, and went right to work on our car. We went to lunch and when we returned he had our car ready to go for us and we felt like the charge was so fair. We were treated wonderfully! He helped us through a stressful situation and we will forever be grateful. We would recommend Cedar Performance Transmission and Auto to anyone.

These guys are awesome! I found a bearing in my oil while I was changing it in my 2006 Dodge Ram Diesel 6 speed manual transmission. Thought for sure my transmission was in need of serious repair. Took it to Bill and Joe, they looked into it and found the bearing probably came from my shift tower when my clutch was being re done (done by someone else) and had been rolling around in there for a while. Transmission was fine so they put it back together with new gaskets and seals and sent me on my way. Had a real opportunity to tell me I needed a complete rebuild but didn't. Honesty, what more can you ask for. After that I took my other 2006 Dodge Ram diesel automatic transmission to them and had them rebuild it. After about 6 months noticed a leak and took it back to them. They took care of it and didn't charge me anything. Honored the warranty they gave me when they did the original work. All of this has been a couple of years and everything is still working great. Highly recommend Bill and Joe at Cedar Performance for there work and for who they are. Highly satisfied customer. Will use them when needed again without a worry!
