My family and I came here on a last minute vacation to teach one of the kiddos to ski. We chose this hotel due to it being available and that the rooms come with a varying type of kitchen (depending on what room you get). They had a promotion going for stay two nights and get the third free. I chose the middle level room so that I had a full kitchen. The room is generously sized and has good room for little kids to run around. I have one in a pack n play and there was no issue with where it could fit. The furniture is easy enough to rearrange when needed. There s two fireplaces, each with a small mantle that you can put it gloves on to dry. The enclave with the dvd player gets warm too.The service is good with staff willing to help and plowing the parking lot continuously. The only issue is if you need anything, you have to go to the front desk and it s in the main building which isn t that far, but when you have to take kids with you in the snow, it gets a little tedious. The location is great with a free shuttle that will take you the short distance to the slopes and other areas in town (like the few places to eat). The covered parking is under each building (there s 3) and fits a couple dozen cars, otherwise you have to park outside. It s a great spot for families.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Great amenities! Room was perfect for our family. Dishwasher was clogged, maintenance offered to fix it immediately but we asked them to wait until we checked out. We have gone to Brianhead twice a year for the last several years and have stayed at many different places. Cedar Breaks Lodge rates highly amongst them. We will stay here again.Pros: great amenities for families, close to Navajo lift, helpful staff, large smart TVs, free movies to check out, two large hot tubs, heated pool, board game room, game roomCons: older buildings but they appear to be updated

Staff was very considerate and helpful to resolve any problems that we had. Her bathroom sinks were clogged one night and they worked on it until they got it clear. There was a little bit of slow water the next day so they came back to make sure that everything was draining smoothly. Our refrigerator was missing a shelf piece and they didn't have a replacement, but they offered to swap out the fridge for me if I needed it.The resort is not brand new, but the staff has done a nice job of keeping things up. The towels in the bathroom are extremely luxurious. The beds are comfortable and the linen is soft and smooth. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets in case we got cold. The location is very close to Navajo Lodge, so you can even take the town shuttle instead of driving your car to go ski.Nearby activities: We had great access to Giant Steps Lodge for skiing, about 5 minutes away. We walked to Thunder Mountain Motorsports, about 100 yards away, where we enjoyed a great snowmobile tour for a reasonable price.

This is the place we stay when we come up to Brianhead and we were, once again, reminded why. The staff are great, the rooms are really nice, the amenities are great, and the price is affordable. We, definitely, want to point out the staff again, they were all so nice and accomodating; all of them! Love the library, game room and pool too!

This is the perfect location for skiing at Brian Head. Especially if you are mainly staying at the Navajo Lodge. You can walk to it. The staff was very helpful. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom room was perfect for our family of five.Walkability: You can walk to the Navajo Lodge.

Torn on my review here. Rooms are so so. Hallways are depressing getting to your room to start. But appreciate the covered parking. Disappointed that the breakfast was closed permanently which Is hard when you have small children like we did. The location was great and the staff and management were very helpful when we had an issue with the room. I know this place is a 3 star but a small remodel or touch up of this place would go a long way. The living area of the 2 bedroom is just so dark and depressing since there are no windows they need to be brightened up so you don't feel like you are in prison.

Unfortunately, due to a very snarky, mean-spirited food server bar person. We will never come back to this property.Jesse, working in the bar area Instead of asking us if we had ID on us, she confronted us why we didn't have I. D.We were caught off guard because we're both in our 50s. And we're waiting for our to go order and playing pool. (We don't drink)She told us we had to leave since my wife did not have her I D on her, that she left it in the room.My wife went back and got it. So we continued playing our game of pool while I still waiting for our very late to go order.Jesse came back up to us very aggressively. Asking for ID and my wife said. Couldn't you ask a little bit nicer? She then said. that's it. You guys need to leave and she kicked us out.Said she's going to call the marshall if we didn't leave now.Because of Jesse we won't be back. Not to mention the restaurant is incredibly backed up and slow and never has enough staff.

I have a time share here. Love the convenience. The amenities are great......HOT jacuzzi (love) restaurant is overpriced and sub par but the biggest challenge.......cold showers. Thank you for texting to check on guests......that's a nice touch but the fact that I stayed for three days and couldn't take a hot bath or shower after being cold to the bone on the slopes all day was tough.Noteworthy details: Fireplace in room is fantastic! Love jacuzzi and steam!

We had a great stay here. Suites were very nice. They do charge a modest resort fee, but that covers things like laundry, which we found useful. Onsite restaurant was very good.Note that the lodge is at nearly 10,000 feet elevation, so it can be colder than other locations nearby, and altitude sickness is a thing that is common this high up. Plan and pack accordingly.

We have a timeshare here. I don't really love being a timeshare owner but the property itself is fine. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is expensive but good quality food.Nearby activities: Our 8-year-old daughter did a half day lesson at the ski resort nearby and the instructor was fantastic

Where to begin?! This was our 3rd visit to Brian Head during the summer time. Our first visit, we stayed at Cedar Breaks Lodge in 2016 and nothing was very memorable about it besides that we were so hot because there wasn t any AC.The second time we visited, we chose to stay somewhere else.We just got back from our 3rd visit to Brian Head, where we decided to give Cedar Breaks Lodge another try. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. We walked into a very clean room and I could tell there had been updates made to the carpet, furniture, etc. since our last visit to CBL. The layout was perfect for our family of 5. We were able to buy groceries and comfortably cook because we had all the dishes and cooking appliances we needed. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. I do wish the pool could ve been slightly heated because it prevented us from being able to swim as a family. The pool was way too cold for our toddler, but the hot tub was way too hot, so we had to swim in shifts. But, that wasn t a huge setback. My kids also loved the playground and we enjoyed the beautiful weather while watching them play. The thing that stood out to me the most this trip was the amazing customer service. To me, most things can be fixed, but if the customer service is lacking, it can ruin a trip. From the friendly manager, Karen, to the personable front desk attendant, Brittze, to the super attentive and kind maintenance man, T , we had excellent customer service. I haven t stayed at a hotel in a long time where I actually remember the staff s name because they stood out to me so much. They spent time talking to us, making sure our stay was going well, addressed any concerns and even helped us talk through a plan of trying to come back during Spring Break. We will definitely be coming back! We had such a memorable trip and the staff were awesome! Great job, guys! You re the reason we want to come back!We even forgot a pacifier of all things and they were happy to ship it back to us.We cannot wait for our next trip to Cedar Breaks Lodge!! Thank you!!

The room was excellent super clean. My windows face the mountains beautiful view. You could smell the clean air when you cracked open the window. Sleeping was wonderful just the sounds of outdoors. Temperature was easy to control. I took a long soak in the bathtub which was very large. Lots of clean towels. I use the coffee maker it was easy to operate, utensils cups everything you need. There's a refrigerator. The front desk was wonderful, will help you with anything. Sweet little doe wandering around the building. The elevation makes it super easy to stargaze, which is incredible all by itself. Probably my favorite high altitude cool-out retreat place.

Located at 10,000', driving to the hotel is absolutely breathtaking and worth the drive.Downside is if you're not used to the elevation, you're lungs will let you know.Rooms are large, very comfortable and clean. I loved the mini kitchen area especially the full size coffee pot. Would definitely stay here again. The off season rates are phenomenal.

Wonderful room, super comfy and lots of extras - like laundry powder (no dye/perfume!) and free washer/dryer. Dish soap, microwave, fridge. Super comfy bed and linens, very quiet room. And the location was perfect for exploring Cedar Breaks and the rest of the southern Utah areas. Would highly recommend and stay here again - price was GREAT!

We loved our room. It's walking distance to Navajo lift, but with all our equipment, we found it even easier to catch the shuttle. The room has a small kitchen and utensils so we made oatmeal, cut up fruit, allowing us to eat a healthy breakfast in the mornings, The lodge has a nice restaurant and bar on site. They don't just have a jacuzzi, they have a huge indoor pool area with steam room, sauna, 2 Jacuzzis and a heated pool, and plenty of towels always stocked up. I asked a front desk attendant a question about the ski area. Luckily she has skied there for many years and was able to give me detailed info about the ski runs. We found all the staff to be super nice.

Beautiful place. Fun bar but super expensive can beer. $9 each. Lol. Great dinner food but no breakfast options at the hotel. No air conditioning in the room. Ceiling fan and wind air circulator. Nice bathroom an kitchenette for cooking your own food but wasn t aware of this until we were already there. Need more descriptions so visitors know what to expect in the summer time.

It's older. The service is OK. We ate at the lodge but found better food and value at Bryan Head Lodge. The room smelled. We paid for a king and rec'd 2 doubles. When asked to correct the issue, they claimed to be full, but the parking lot and traffic in the common areas spoke otherwise. They did bring a can of air freshener for us to spray.

We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath unit. It was a very nice unit with a full kitchen. There was a fireplace in each room. We stayed in winter so the fireplaces were nice and so was the view outside into the snow. There was a small game room that our kids used and of course they used the pool as well. The ski resort was very nice with plenty of options for our intermediate level family. I would highly recommend.

Came for a short family vacation with our 8, 5, and 2 year olds. Was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a little library where we could barrow books, games, and dvd's while staying here. That kept the kids entertained plus the pool area is super nice! It wasn't real busy while we were here and the kids had a good time going from the two hot tubs to the regular pool. They also have an outdoor little play area which our kids enjoyed. The rooms weren't anything really fancy, but they were clean. There is no AC, and we came in July so our rooms did get a little warm but it still wasn't to bad. Would highly recommend when searching for a place to bring a family!

Love the rooms, fireplaces are so nice in the bedroom and living room. Kitchen is so nice to cook breakfast. Downside is one hot tub has not had functioning jets for about 5 years since I've coming, wet sauna tiles always look a little dingy so i prefer bringing flip flops. Kids are almost always in the good hot tub near the fire jumping/splashing, they like that one since its the only one with functioning jets, so its kind of a bummer to have the kids in the hot tub when trying to relax after a day on the mountain. Also, half the bar lounge area has been closed down for over a year (since my last visit) due to leaking roof. It would be nice to sit and enjoy watching the snow fall by the fire. However, you can't sit there due to leaking roof. Cafe I've never seen open, my friend who did not come to ski was a little sad of the lack of open things during the day when we were out on the slopes. I will still come back because the rooms are wonderful, but there are definitely some improvements to the community areas that could be done. I did call diamond resorts prior to arrival to ask about early check in, they said if the room is ready it shouldn't be a problem but when we arrived the resort said their policy was no sooner than 3pm check in, so conflicting answers there.
