Well I have been a loyal customer for years, bought my winter tires here with the great deal of being able to switch them over for free. They have done this for me for years for free and usually under 30 minutes. Now they were quite busy and so when I asked for them to do that, they said it might be up to 2 hours which I asked if I should come back but they wanted me to stay instead. I stay and they don't even pull my car back until it had been 2 hours. I knew it normally is pretty quick so I didn't say anything when they had finally pulled my car. By hour 3 I hadn't gotten an update and I was getting frustrated. After asking for an update, they tell me they can't get the sensors in my winter tires to work. They have always switched them without the sensors working, but today I find out that's illegal. So now I either have to pay $80 now and when I take them off or pay $190 to put the sensors in permanently. I am beyond frustrated but I tell them to just put them in and asked how long that would be. Said 30 minutes but took about another hour. So 4 hours and $190 later my car got finished. Apparently they actually don't "do the right thing".

I've been going to Les Schwab for years. Up until last year I was going to the Centerville UT location. They have typically been great. However, my most recent experience with the Bountiful location has left me with a very sour taste.I called ahead to confirm that they had the tires I needed. I was told that they needed to get them from another store. When I arrived and dropped my vehicle off I was told they had just left to get the tires and the vehicle would be done in about 90 minutes. I returned 90 minutes later to find out that they hadn't even pulled the car in. I was told that apparently the tires were just barely arriving and I was up next.After expressing my frustration they pulled the car in and said it would be done in 20 minutes. I sit here 40 minutes later and still don't have my car.The most upsetting thing is that I was told by multiple people in the store it would be done by the time I needed it because I had some place to be. Here I sit more than 40 minutes after that time without my car. I will be late. Sounds like I need to find a new tire shop. Les Schwab has lost its luster for me.

I ve never dealt with such a dishonest company. I m so ashamed of how people treat others to make their boss a buck while they make pennies through commission.First off, never go to an auto shop that pays commission. Secondly, never go to one run by teenagers. Unfortunately my girlfriend didn t know better, is from a small town where honesty is the common interaction, and she simply just doesn t know Different.Long story short, she heard a noise coming from her tire so she pulled over and called a friend who informed her to IMMEDIATELY pull over and get it checked at her ( the friends) favorite auto shop, Les Schwab. Already on high alert having her two little girls in the car, she did just as she was told.To the pieces of human waste working at this moral-less shack of lies, it was hook, line and sinker.One of the employees, but not the manager, ( never got a name), told her that her wheel WILL come off and her and her children WILL MOST LIKELY DIE when that happens.Turns out a bolt had broken that held the spring back on the brake pad, inside rear brake. Not good, but not life or death. Then after assessing told her she couldn t take the car off the premises without them hiring a tow truck and watching it be properly loaded. So they held her against her will, for a price of course. And told her for them to fix it would take multiple hours and cost 900 and some change. I m sorry but a screw that took ten minutes to get to shouldnt cost a thousand to replace. Her friend offered to float the bill and knowing she was stuck other wise she said okay out of FEAR OF DEATH. After calling when I got the chance in between driving at work, they refused to re assemble the brakes so I could pick it up and go elsewhere. I spoke with the manager and he said I needed to get in within thirty minutes in rush hour traffic and Sign a release form. Lies and scare tactics are all these foul pieces of work know. This location needs to find a new home with new associates. Please don t go here. They carelessly scare people right before Christmas time in order to make a Buck. Safety should always come first, but greed is too often a first priority. Take care of your family and friends and spread the word. They shouldn t be in business another day.

I honestly never leave reviews, but we have had an absolutely horrible experience with these guys, and I need to warn others. We called Les Schwab to put on our snow tires, and at the appointment, they somehow accidentally got our vehicle mixed up with another one being serviced and threw all of our main tires out after putting our snow tires on. After they told us about their mistake, they spent some time digging through their thrown out tires and found our tires. So, we took them home and several months later, when we went to go get the snow tires switched out for our main tires after winter ended, they forced us to replace 2 of our tires because they were worn out. These had been brand new tires before Les Schwab lost them, and clearly their employee who dug through those discarded tires a few months back gave us 2 bad ones. So, we had to pay hundreds of dollars to replace these tires based on a mistake that Les Schwab employees made. Totally unethical and unprofessional. I ve never experienced anything like this in my life.

This place is awesome. This is the second time this month we got a nail in a tire! They dropped everything and helped us immediately both times. Super helpful, friendly, and thoughtful. They ve got our business next time we need tires for sure!

Found my trailer tire was flat while in bountiful for work, they pumped it up no issues at all. Sometimes tire shops want to try and sell you new tires or are super uncomfortable to deal with when asking you I just pump Or fill tire, they were awesome. Super happy with them

Casey from the Bountiful store is awesome! He replaced our tire and did our alignment today and a few extra s. I am so grateful to finally find an honest tire company.

The shop lobby is new and has plug in accessory outlets at high chair table for USB, etc.Seems clean and good service, they got right on my vehicle...

This is the best les schwab I have ever been to. I took my vehicle in to get it looked at because I was hearing a noise, they found the problem within just a few minutes where all the other locations kept saying that there was nothing wrong.The employees and managers at this location are great. They do there job correctly and make sure the work is done properly. I don't mind driving the extra distance, especially because of how great the service is.I will definitely continue to use les schwab.Keep up the great work les schwab.

I went in for a quote for tires and a lift on my Jeep about a month before I had it done. Oscar was very friendly in helping me that day. When I went back in for the lift and tires Austin helped me and was also very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Les Schwab location.-Angie

I have been a lover of Les Schwab, but my belief is quickly turning. First let s talk about why I liked them.Quality tires is the first, knowledgeable customer service, fast and quality service conducted by professionals. Their warranty, free flat repair and rotations.But things have changed.If you choose to do business with Lea Schwab, expect that part of the cost is time. They are so slow, a tire rotation can take over an hour and a repair could take over two hours.In my opinion this is not because of how busy they are, it is management, scheduling and I am sure their ability to hire techs, which many businesses are struggling with. But I think the most important aspect causing bad and slow service is the employees and local management s lack of caring.About a month ago I was at a location and I watched an employee drive a suburban through the parking lot on a rim causing damage, when they could have simply taken a jack to the parking lot. The customer asked them not to drive on the Rim. They acted like they had no choice but they did.Quality tires. This seems to be unchanged and great. I have reputation tires on all my cars. I love them and they are absolutely great tires.I don t know what has caused the negative changes. But I hope they can turn it around.

I brought my car to have a low tire checked. They told me it would be an hour and a half. After 1 1/2 hours I inquired about how much longer it would take. They said I still had 2 cars ahead of me. After waiting about 2 hours I complained again and told the girl I had to get going. She handed me the keys. I told her I wasn t leaving with a very low tire after waiting 2 hours. I then spoke to the manager who told me we re doing the best we can. It s been almost 3 hours and I m still sitting here. This place is a joke. I have seen customers come and go and I m still sitting here.

MUCH better than Discount Tire Bountiful, very clean, very comfortable, and fair prices, I highly recommend!!I prefer Discount over Les Schwab but not in this case. This location always does a great job on my vehicles, gets me in and out as soon as possible, and has a very comfortable waiting area for kids and adults. The service they do is also better than any mechanic or tire shop I have ever been to!

Scheduled an appointment for service this morning and showed up and was immediately told they couldn t work on it right away, which pretty much defeats the purpose of making an appointment if they re not going to schedule their workload around the scheduled appointments. Then when discussing the service - I needed the bearings on my trailer repacked - they said they didn t have the equipment needed to do so, even though they claim to be a full service shop because they do everything except the things we can t do. The Les Schwab website confidently asserts that bearings are a specialty that they re equipped to do so I was surprised they couldn t do it. Fortunately Burt Brothers Tire right down the street says the bearing service is easy for them to do, even with the braking system on the trailer.From the Les Schwab website: Les Schwab Knows TrailersStop by Les Schwab and we ll inspect your trailer bearings and brakes. Our pros know how to repack or even replace the bearings, and can get your brakes working like new. Far short of replacing the bearings they couldn t repack them because either the people working there didn t have the experience or the shop that took my appointment didn t have the equipment. Either way, I ve lost confidence since their advertised service could not be delivered.

if I could give them 10 stars I would. Every time one of my vehicles needs repairs or service I take it to this location and every time I am more than pleased with the service and price! The level of customer service from the staff is amazing! They are patient, well trained and always professional. This time I took my car in on a Saturday for a noise in my front end. They told me it would be 1-1.5 hours for them to diagnose. I got a call 45 minutes later with the diagnosis and cost of repairs. I called 4 shops in the local area and Les Schwab's estimate was at least $100 less then everyone else. I called them back and they said they could do the repair same day and within a hour they called me back and my car was done. Most shops would tell you to make an appointment and come back during the week but this shop takes care of you on the spot. I have bought tires for both my vehicles from this location and again have been very pleased with the service

Misogynistic managers!Do not bring your own tires to this misogynistic establishment! They tried convincing my wife that my Yukon weighs 9,000 lbs??? and my tires I bought are only rated for 8,000 lb vehicles and less and tried to sell us their own tires.I never write reviews. But I couldn't help myself on this situation. I will never step foot in there again! You should be ashamed! And your advertisements are annoying

My friend had a flat and they were great to get her in and out quickly! Did a great job getting TWO tires fixed for her. She had one fixed a few days prior, and hasn't had issues since! :)

When I pulled in this morning there were 3 customers and 4 bays open. Thought I'd come for an oil change since it was empty. Bad choice. 2 hours for what others do in 5 minutes. Looks like a training center. Many folks per bay and one experienced person giving instruction.

Awesome experience with Oscar, we had a break down on our trailer which we need for our business. Oscar got us in within 10 minutes, educated us on what was wrong, fixed it and got us out in a timely fashion. Thanks Oscar!!

I had an unfortunate incident with my car and they were confident they could fix the problem, but said I would have to wait a day for the parts due to a snow storm which I was OK with. Staff ended up going above and beyond to get the parts and fixing my car the same day. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly. Amazing service and my car is good as new!

This has to be the worst mechanic shop I have been to. I had to take my car back 4 times just to get an alignment. They first told me the tie rods needed to be replaced and so I did. I ve worked on cars for years. They lied to me each time I brought it back saying that they couldn t do the alignment. It cost me 400 dollars just to get an alignment. I had other mechanics look at my work and they said it was perfectly fine. The assistant manager Chris said that he wouldn t tell me what was going on with it because he needed to keep the lights on and pay his guys. Very very poor customer service. Everything they said I did wrong they lied about. The assistant manger Chris was very disrespectful to me about the whole situation.

Part 1 from 2019:Came in for a tire rotation and had a free tire rotation coupon . I ve been in this type of situation before at other shops and expected that since I had a free service that I was going to get a barrage of non-existent issues with my car or special offers from them to get money out of me. Not the case. They got me in right away, said it d be about 20 minutes and 18 minutes later my car was all ready to go and it was so quick and painless. Great first impression!Update 5/27/22:I can t say it enough. I ve been back a few times since my first review. So stellar every time! I took my truck in to Toyota Bountiful. They said I needed my brakes replaced and that they d need to resurface my rotors for $600. I held off (thankfully) and came to Les Schwab here in bountiful. They told me my brakes were fine and wouldn t need to be replaced for a while and that my rotors didn t need to be replaced and said if I ever wanted them that they d do it all for $345 out the door! Nearly half of what the dealership said for just resurfacing, not even replacing! I m coming here for everything.

I got a flat on the way(530) to work had no spare. Had it towed to the les Schwab at 12:30 pm. The had the car sitting there for 2 hour. I forgot to give the key to the tow company. I called them and told them that they had my permission to fix the tire at all cost. In actuality they could gone out there and jacked it up and pulled the tire off and worked on it.So instead I went and waited a hour and a half after workIt was under warranty cause I bought the four tire from the les Schwab tire center in Layton.Bad time with these guys. They don t go out of their way to help people. They wasted my time away from my wife and four kids.

Horrible. Wife picked up a nail out of town and stopped there to get it fixed. They made her buy a new tire and tried to strong arm her into buying 4 tires because we had awd, pushy manager, tried to force her to buy 2 tires to match the wear on the other rear tire (which was replaced about 4 months ago) or he wouldn't even put the new tire on the car. I had to drive to the wife's car to put the tire on, got it home and the tire lost pressure overnight. Brought to another les Schwab and they had put the pin too high so the dust cap opens the valve. They had also bent the valve stem so it couldn't be adjusted or removed. The other les Schwab had to break the stem off just to remove it. They replaced the valve stem for free but it wasted so much of my time I'll never go there again.

I stopped by on Friday and asked to have my brakes replaced. Earlier that day my car underwent routine maintenance at the dealership and they told me the front brakes needed to be replaced urgently. Les Schwab quoted a much more reasonable price for the work, which is why I dropped by. Before I could get home after dropping off my car, Jake called to tell me that the brakes were not yet due to be replaced. Jake and his team easily could have just replaced the brakes and charged me because that is what I asked them to do. Instead, they were honest and placed my interests above theirs. In an industry where honesty seems to be hard to come by these days, this business and it's employees are a real asset in our community. I'll be back when it's time to have the work done and would strongly urge others to give them a try. Very good experience--thank you again!!

Customer service ready to help when you are in need. They often have product in stock, ready to be installed. They are willing to examine, test, and recommend work to be done (but be sure to be aware of your car's needs, even if you aren't a car person, so you generally know what you should be getting into). Seems like they prefer to oversell on brake work. Keep up on tire position rotations.
