If you want a good and honest mechanic, this is the place to go. American, foreign, it doesn't matter. I've taken my Chevys, Hondas, and Mazdas here for 8 years now, and I always get the best price and service. I have even been told other places would be cheaper for certain types of service (body and cosmetic work). No question this is the best place to take care repair needs!

I've had Brian work on a couple of different vehicles now. He's always done a great job and been efficient and upfront about everything. Recently a fuel pump failed that he had installed earlier this year and he warrantied it and took care of it. I highly recommend Force Automotive.

Tim is amazing. He stayed in contact with me every step of the way by texting me photos and updates. Finished everything in amazing time. And I'm in love with how my corvette came out. If you have any LS you better go to Tim.

I live on the east coast and contacted Force Automotive about doing a pre-purchase inspection on a CTS-V being sold at a nearby dealership. Brian was very flexible through the dealership missing the scheduled appointment (twice!). And when the car finally showed up at his shop, his inspection was very thorough -- with detailed reports via email and valuable personal insight over the phone, all for a very reasonable price. If I was local he'd definitely be my go-to mechanic.

Tim is the absolute best mechanic around! I have taken all my vehicles to him for over 5 years. He is very honest and knowledgeable about every vehicle he works on. When your car leaves his shop it will be fixedto manufacture specs! There are customers that come from all across the SLC valley to have their vehicles repaired by Tim! I would highly recommend Force Automotive. He is fast! I would give him 5+ stars!

Tim at Force Automotive was awesome to work with. I needed a transmission replacement, his bid was one of the lowest, closest to home and had good online reviews. I took it to him, he ordered the transmission with the 3 year/100,000 mile warranty and had it installed in a few business days. The vehicle runs great. No leaks, no problems. Tim has become my new mechanic! I would highly recommend paying him a visit for your automotive needs.

I've taken my car here a few times now. Prices are reasonable, communication is pretty good, owner is straightforward and to the point. When I talk to him over the phone he's good about telling me what I can just do on my own. He isn't out to nickel and dime you, just take care of you and get you your car back.Edit a year later: Force is transitioning to a new owner. Tim is working alongside him for a while to make sure things run right before leaving. From taking my car in again, seems like the new owner (sorry I forgot his name) is going to treat customers right. Took my car in for an engine light. Charged me next to nothing after discovering it was just a bolt that needed to be tightened.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Oil change

I highly recommend Tim for your mechanic needs. I have always heard great reviews on his service but today was the first time I have visited for service. I took a late model SUV to him to look for a noise from the suspension. He was very attentive in looking for possible causes of the problem and fixed a few other minor issues while at it. Pricing was incredibly competitive and most importantly, I trust that he knew what he was doing and was honest in his approach.

I can't count how many times this awesome shop has saved our hides, and not empty our wallet. Tim runs an efficient shop and does his best to work with you schedule. He's honest and is a rare mechanic that cares more about the quality of his work than making a quick buck. Having a good trusted mechanic is like having a good doctor and and there's nobody else I'd let operate on my vehicles.

I am from out of town and needed someone to help me troubleshoot my check engine light so we could return home the following week. I called many mechanic shops and all of them were booked for weeks. I spoke with Brian at Force and he was also booked but understood our situation and made accommodations for me to come in even with their busy schedule. He helped me figure out a solution and did not charge for his time. Whether you are a local or visiting, I recommend these guys to anyone. Thank you again!

I was looking for a go-to mechanic. Tim at Force Automotive came HIGHLY recommended. After using Tim multiple times now, I can say I've found one. Its like having a good buddy work on your vehicle. You know he will give you friendly service with timely, quality work. He always fits me in, even when I'm in a bind and I'm on my way quickly. Thanks Tim!!

Force Automotive is the best around. Tim does quality work at a very competitive price. Not only does he continue to save me money, but he has literally worked late and on weekends for my "urgent" repairs. He goes out of his way to provide excellent customer service and accommodate his customers. Highly recommend this business!

Tim is fantastic! Best mechanic I've ever had. He answers the phone promptly, is courteous, fast, has great prices, and has a wonderful personality. He's a rare find. You won't be disappointed in his services. I am now taking all of my autos/motorcycles to him for everything.

Do you and your car a favor and go here for all of your car repair needs!! When we moved to Northern Utah, I was sad because we had finally found a good and honest mechanic in Salt Lake county. We would have been willing to drive over an hour to have him fix our car, but we knew that wasn t the best idea financially. We called around and got major lucky finding Tim s place! His waiting area is nice, and he even offers free waters! And if you have to wait awhile with your child(ren), he has a cute play room (if your child isn t sick; PLEASE avoid the public if your kid is sick) that is every parents saving grace at a repair shop BLESS YOU. Tim is thorough and quick, even gets you in fast! His prices are the best I could find in Davis and Weber county. He communicates with you and gives you options, and he is just everything you would want in a mechanic. I won t go anywhere else!! Unless I move far away ;)

Needed a bunch of maintenance done (replace timing belt and several flushes). Called around for quotes and Force had the best price plus was recommended by a friend. Tim got my car in the next day and was done within one day! Great, fast service. Even got a discount for paying cash. Thanks Tim!

Force Automotive in West Bountiful helped my daughter and son in law with buying their Mazda Crossover. With two cars they considered buying, Tim and his team inspected every part of the vehicle and identified what was wrong and needed to be fixed which helped my kids with their decision to buy which car. Solely because of Force Automotive expertise and auto mechanic expertise, they decided to buy the second car instead of the first one they had a deposit on. Tim did both inspections for $37.50 each which is a GREAT DEAL and he gained two new customers for life who now fully trust him and recommend him. Thanks Tim for helping them and me with making such a big decision.

Tim Een is an honest mechanic. Yes, folks, there is at least one on earth! Seriously, this guy is amazing at what he does and honest to a fault. He and an assistant mechanic spent 4 hours diagnosing a pesky idle issue with my Honda Accord and he charged me $135 labor---total. To boot, he reattached a broken washer fluid line to my windshield and didn't charge me a dime. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else, period.

Yep, that was the best estimating process and customer service I ve ever received from a repair shop. He made everything so easy and turn-key for me (pun not intended, but kept in intentionally). I had him look over my car for preventative maintenance and I felt no pressure on what repairs to do versus not do. I wish every business interaction went like this! Timing and prices are reasonable.

He is an honest, highly skilled and affordable mechanic. I like to work on my cars but my last visit is a testament to the value of a great mechanic. My Porsche was making an embarrassing sound from the rear suspension. Had I been left to my own skills, I'd have spent hundreds of dollars on the wrong parts and not solved my issue.Instead, Tim diagnosed the issue and did the repair (lower control arm) for about half of what it would have cost me to buy and install the wrong parts (shocks).Thanks, Tim!

I'd give Tim at Force Automotive ten stars if I could. I've known him 20 plus years, and he is by far the BEST mechanic out there. His turnaround times cannot be beat, and neither can his prices. I highly recommend him to anyone I talk to.

I've been going to Force for the last 3-4 years and they've been awesome every time, I live in Syracuse now and I still keep coming here. They are really honest and easy to work with, they don't bring up a bunch of stuff I'm not sure if I really need or not. Pricing has always been great, better than other places I've worked with. Tim (the owner/operator) is a stand up guy. Highly recommend!

I use Force Automotive for my fleet at work so i figured when my a/c crapped out on me i d take it there since i was close by. Brian was friendly and helped me figure out what i needed to do to get it fixed. I trust these guys!!

Tim is fantastic. I called Thursday afternoon. I got my car to be repaired on Friday when he opened and he had it done an hour later. I can t say that ll be everyone s experience but after talking with him I can tell he s committed to providing value to his customers. I felt I got the best bang for my buck. Note: his dog Gus is gigantic but he s a total love.

Brian is by far the best mechanic I know. He gets the job done the right way. He is one of the few mechanics I still trust to work on my car.

I could not be more happier. Lost some power when I upgraded wheel sizes. Had Tim install new headers and tune my truck. My truck runs like a champ now. Gained back all the power I lost and some to spare. Any upgrades or repairs I need in the future, I'm taking it back to Force Automotive for sure. Professional, quality work and peace of mind knowing I wasn't getting a shady deal. Even got my truck done a few days before I had expected.
