On nov 28,2022 I had scheduled my 2012 Camaro to be seen by Aaron s auto pros , he has scheduled me two weeks ahead on Dec 10,2022. On that date he wasn t even aware who I was or that I had my car scheduled in. As I took my car in, they took 2 weeks to actually look at it since they had fallen back behind . My car has an electrical issue which has never been fixed. He was asking 1,000 dollars for a brand new ecm that was not the issue, after he insisted that he wanted to sell me his product. I told him I had two already that worked and had been programmed by flagship one. It was a plug and play, at Arron s auto pros did not like that I provided my own product and insisted that my ecm had to be reprogrammed by them, although flagship does them. Since it was a plug and play they went ahead and charged me $1000 dollars for something I had taken out of my car 3 times. And upon installation they mounted my ecm outside the fuse box. I would never recommend this shop as it clearly didn t not care about anything on top of keeping my car at their shop for a month neglecting. The owner has since never made an attempt to fix the issue or offer me a refund for never getting my car to start up. They left the ecm completely outside for it to fry and left wires visible. I do not recommend them. They are not professionals and have to call other technicians from other shops to come look at work they cannot complete.Service: Electrical

We were driving to Utah from Seattle and had trouble with our air conditioning. We just happened upon Aarons Auto Pro and we re so happy with the quick and affordable service they provided! They took our vehicle on Friday morning and fixed it the same day. We couldn t be happier and couldn t recommend this auto shop more!

*EDIT* Aaron called me after seeing my review and refunded my whole diagnostic charge. The experience detailed below is still true, but I am impressed with the way that they handled things afterwards. They were very professional and apologetic.I brought my car in a little over a week ago to check on a rough cold start and a squeaky wheel. I was told that I needed new spark plugs in one of my cylinders that I had just replaced the spark plugs in one month ago. I was also told that I needed new wheel bearings. I was given an estimate of $2,000 to fix these issues. When I was hesitant about paying this, they said that the only necessary fix was a new ignition coil. I decided to get a second opinion and took my car somewhere else after paying the diagnostic fees (they charged $200. I have never seen a mechanic charge double diagnostic fees if more than one issue is addressed).The mechanic I then took it to told me that my spark plugs were fine, my wheel bearings were fine, and my ignition coil was fine. They fixed other parts and my total came out to be $500 with diagnostics included. My car now sounds fine.Leaving two stars because they were incredibly kind and got me in pretty fast. If you have a nicer car, this mechanic is probably fine. I drive a 2010 vehicle and so of course there are always going to be things that could be replaced. In my vehicle it is just not worth it.

I have been using Aaron's for a few years now. I wish that I had known about them sooner.I think the other reviews do a good job illustrating how trust worthy they are - but I wanted a couple of things that are good to know1 - They can be pretty busy. I imagine people like them so they keep going back. You probably should make an appointment before just dropping your car in.2 - A positive perk in my opinion about going here is that the oil changes are listed as part of your CarFax report. So if you are doing regular maintenance on your car - it is well documented which will make it easier to sell.I feel like the other places in Bountiful can be a real mixed bag. These are the only people I trust with my car.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

Called for a quote on getting my clutch replaced and the guy gave me a huge attitude because I had my own parts (first release of a flywheel, 1 of 2 that currently exist for this truck) he then scoffed at me like "good luck finding someone else" (already had someone lined up, just checking prices now). As far as a mechanic covering parts warranty, that response is false and not standard practice, it's purely for markup reasons. The manufactures warranty their parts, occasionally requiring they are installed by a legitimate shop. It's the same exact component (other than the fact that you probably can't even get the flywheel at the moment), made from the same company. How does my purchasing it affect your mechanics' ability to install it correctly? Are they that incompetent? If you're going to throw a fit, at least apply some level of logical reasoning. Train your people to be more respectful and not talk down to your customers. There's no way I would take my truck to you after that conversation and response, get over yourself, you're not even top rated locally.

I had a mixed experience with Aarons Auto Pro. They were very nice and made time to look at my van even when they were very busy, which I appreciated. However, they were unable to diagnose my extended cranking issue and I was told they could not replicate the issue. I highly doubt that was true as the van had a very obvious extended crank almost every time it would be started. They tried a few things and tested a few things, but unfortunately I had to take the van back with no improvement on the issue. Since then, a different shop has successfully diagnosed and fixed the issue. I appreciated their prompt willingness to look at the van, though.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I was very impressed by the communication and the swiftness in service by Aaron's Auto Pro. I recently had a nightmare of a situation with a nearby auto shop who diagnosed the cause of the draw of my car battery which ended up not being accurate. I took my car into Aaron's Auto Pro for a second look and to fix a battery connection. I was kept informed every step of the way of what the issue was and cost, and the turn around to have my car repaired was so fast! I really appreciate the experience I had, after having a not so wonderful one with someone else. I will be a repeat customer. Thank you!Service: Electrical repair

I gave Aaron one of the most ridiculous jobs. Long story short, I had a glow plug that refused to come out. A typical 1 hour job turned into a 20 hour job. Aaron called me every step up the way. His transparency really made it comforting. When the job was completed, he even did everything he can to lower the price with such an extensive job.When the job was done and I drove the truck home, it kept popping up with check engine lights (which turned out to be a loose wire). Aaron fixed it again for no extra charge.I will for sure be coming back. Aaron earned a customer for life. I highly recommend taking your car problems here.

The team at Aaron's Auto Pro were fantastic and helped me with a major auto issue. I had a hole in a cylinder and made the decision to have a new engine put into my Ford Expedition. James went to work in getting all of the parts, and scheduling the work. Aaron and James worked to get me back on the road as soon as they could. They made sure that everything worked well, and we are in the process of the first 500 miles on the engine and it's running smooth. Absolutely amazing mechanic. I met Aaron 3 years ago when I bought a BMW from a dishonest salesman. Luckily Aaron was very thorough and quickly identified the issues with my vehicle. His prices are very reasonable and he does the best work in town. I will never take my car to any mechanic other than Aaron.

I recommend all individuals and dealers take their cars to Aaron's. They're efficient, very good at communication, reasonably priced, and most importantly gets the job done right. I had a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder with a check engine light, I first took it to a mechanic next to our company and they couldn't figure it out, then I took it to Tim Dahle Nissan and they told me there was no hope for the car. Lastly I took it to Aaron's and he fixed it at a reasonable price within 24 hours. I rarely write reviews regardless of experience, but this shop literally fulfills my satisfaction as a consumer and much more.

Have been using Aaron s regularly since 2015, from oil changes to diagnosing electrical issues to wreck repairs. Good work, good prices, never have to worry if I m being taken advantage of.

They did a great job with my car. They worked me in quickly and got right to work. They seemed trustworthy and honest. Excellent communication of status and follow up. I was not paid, or received any discount for this review. They're good!

I've had a lot of service done to my vehicle from Aaron's Auto and I see no reason to go anywhere else. The customer service is great here and the owners are extremely genuine. There is an honest feel when receiving work from this shop and that's always a comforting feeling. I would absolutely recommend this shop to everyone! They have amazing reviews and if you ever get your car worked on by them, you'll understand why! A+

Smoothest auto service experience I've had in US so far. Friendly, polite, no pressuring, they let me in to talk with the master who was working on the car so I could check what's going on and ask dumb questions.I've brought them the car I was about to buy from AI Monroe dealer a block away for a pre-check that went well, so I signed for bunch of maintenance jobs after I bought the car:- Engine Oil change- Transfercase fluid change- Transmission fluid change- Front & Rear differential fluid change- Brake fluid change- Powersteering fluid change- A/C pressure check- Brake wear check- Service interval reset in ECUAll was done within 2 hours with just a really good experience with the guys.10/10Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, A/C installation & repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Wow Aaron is the best!! I had a local dealer telling me I needed to spend $1,200 I'm getting all new lights for my car. Aaron figured it out in less than 10 minutes. He did it out of the goodness of his heart. These guys are amazing I will be back!

Aaron's Auto Pro is by far the absolute best mechanic shop around. I have a 1988 BMW, which needed an entirely new transmission. Not only was I able to finance the repair, but Aaron got the part, and installed in the very same day, and even stayed late!Hands down the fastest, and most reliable experience I have ever had with any mechanic. Strongly recommend this place to friends, and will continually be coming back here for my regular checkups.

Aaron's Auto Pro is the mechanic shop I will now be taking my vehicles. Aaron treated me fairly and did a great job repairing my Mazda. Don't just trust anyone with your vehicle, use someone who cares; like Aaron. Also he does every kind of fluid change and tire sales as well (Trust me... they are the best prices around). There is no limit to Aaron's awesomeness! Thank you again for staying late on Friday as well.Lastly Aaron's kind of a big deal. Don t believe me? Just read his other reviews!

I recently had auto repairs done at Aaron s this place is fantastic !!My car was pouring out antifreeze and I just drove in and asked Aaron if he could take a look ..He called back and advised me it was my water pump ; also mentioned some other repairs that (should ) be done while it was apartHe didn t pressure me into anything and the repairs were done quickly and affordable !I have NEVER had that positive experience from the dealership !,Keep up the good workSteve

Aaron & Cassie are fantastic...very genuine, very honest, & very attentive. Aaron was knowledgeable, straightforward, & bent over backward to help us out with my car (which is admittedly one of the quirkiest, most annoying cars to work on - EVER!). He didn't have to spend as much time as he did trying to help us out, but he did, & it is much appreciated. I truly don't think you'll find a better combination of fair, professional, efficient, & simply good at what they do, than Aaron's Auto Pro. I'm very happy that Aaron decided to open his own shop! We will absolutely use them in the future!

I would just like to share my experience at Aaron. I recently took my car back in to Aaron because some of the parts that they had replaced started giving me some problems. At first I was excited because I was still under warranty for all of the parts, I wish I had known at first in order to get the warranty to replace those parts you had to be able to prove that it was the parts that they had malfunctioned...Geez, at that moment I sure did wish I knew a lot more about Automotive then I did and if that were the case I wouldn't have needed Aaron's help in the first place.

Aaron is one of those rare, exceptional mechanics that you meet only once or twice in the lifetime of a car. We came from San Francisco, our poor truck barely chugging into Salt Lake City after towing our brand new travel trailer from the Bay. We had had quite the saga: the RV dealer installed a faulty brake controller in California, resulting in considerable damage to our truck. We got as much of the truck repaired as we could in California, but couldn't wait for the rest and needed to leave to get started on a project in New Mexico. The truck made it as far as Utah before our ears were ringing with it's horrible screams and we decided we couldn't make it go any further. We called Aaron on a whim, and I am so grateful that we did. He did an excellent job rebuilding our rear differential, but even more impressively, he did all of this work in just 2 days. He called us twice each day to update on the progress, make sure we were ok with the estimate (which was completely reasonable), and to explain to us all the things he had checked and tested in the car. Not only that, but when we picked it up, he told us that if we were in the area, we should come back in a couple days so he can make sure everything is running as it should. We did just that, and he dropped everything in the middle of his busy day to test out his work. It has been driving like a dream ever since. Could not recommend Aaron more highly.

Very happy with this shop! My son's pickup had broken down, right before he needed to fly out of town. He was new to Bountiful and we didn't know anything about any repair shops. I ended up on the phone (from California) making arrangements with the owner, Aaron. Long story short, we ended up having him do the repairs and couldn't be happier with the service, concern, repairs and price for the whole situation!

We needed safety and emissions done on our car and we called Aaron s to see if they could get us taken care of. He made me an appointment and got me right in! We didn t have to wait long at all and when it was all done, he got me my tabs and we were on our way. So painless and easy!

WOW! I have never before in my entire life been to a mechanic who takes such good care of me. I had him check my car two days before I was leaving for a long trip and he said that his mechanic didn't find any problems. However, he wanted to do a double check and said I should bring it in the next day.I did bring it in and he ended up finding the cause of some strange vibrations the car has had. He apologized that his guy hadn't done a very thorough check and felt so bad for that that he gave us a minor discount.Not only that, but because the repairs on the car would take several hours, he let us use one of his cars for the day free of charge! Aaron is very accommodating, extremely kind, and very friendly. Aaron, you have earned yourself a life-long customer because of your kindness.

Talked with them on the phone about getting an inspection for a used car I was interested in buying. Talked me through what was included and we're able to get me in quickly. Very accommodating and helpful. Didn't try to push anything extra and we're very thorough. Ended up buying the car in confidence.

I typically go to another auto place in Salt Lake, but I was near here when my car started going out, and I didn't want to risk driving to my regular guy. I feel bad for my previous shop, but I think I have found my new go-to.For some reason it seems like guys in this industry are really surly and glum. Aaron was the person who took care of me, and his attitude was more like the way they try to train chick-fil-a employees, (but he was genuine, without all the insincere "my pleasure" you get there.) He really did impress me. And the price he quoted me was incredibly reasonable. I think his rates are below standard, and the service is above. What more can you ask for than that?

Aaron and his staff are awesome, they always do a great job and treat you with respect. Just fixed up my car and it runs like a dream with no problems that have been yet seen, I would highly recommend.
