I ve been to this location many times since it was first opened as we prefer to shop local. I checked the website before going there today and it showed to close at 6pm. I got there right about 3 pm and was told they closed early for New Years. This would not have bothered me so much, but it wasn t posted on their site, today is Saturday and New Year s is Sunday when they are already closed. Essentially, they felt like closing early and used New Year s as an excuse. They gained an additional 3 hours the day before New Year s Eve and did so without considering their customers. I went to Jiffy Lube down the street and they took care of me quickly. I will now take any future business I have to Jiffy Lube as well. Wylie Kwik Kar may not be concerned about losing my business, however, we ve been in Wylie for over 28 years. People ask me for recommendations all the time for things they need in Wylie. I ll be sending them anywhere but here from now on.

They broke my glove compartment while removing my filters to try and sell me another service i clearly did not want. Proceeded to tell me that it's been broken and that it's been noted in passed services. Unbelievable to think they would just straight-up lie to my face about "notes" that dont exist. Normally, I have come here for oil changes for the last few years but will never be returning.

While the service was good and the staff was friendly and VERY thorough, if your in a time crunch my advice is dont be and take a number, a simple oil change took just over an hour to have done with only 1 car ahead of me. Glad they checked other things but its just an oil change not 100 point inspection.

Wylie Kwik Kar is my go-to for all things auto! For 17 years, they have taken care of my vehicles' care needs, from oil changes and state inspections, to engine and systems analysis and repair, they do it all. Thank you, Wylie Kwik Kar for keeping me safe.

I had a brake fluid leak and it was a scary situation with the brakes not working properly. Both Terry and Amy were so kind, honest and reassuring. They repaired my car. I felt great using their business and want everyone to know what a great job they did!

Short version - Long time customer but never returning after they caused damage, refused to admit it, accused my family of causing the damage, and charged an outrageous fee in the end.Full story... I've been bringing our cars here for well over a decade and have never had complaints. Prices did seem high, but I stayed with them because I thought they were trustworthy and provided good service. My son now has training and certification in car repair, so we asked him to do oil changes on 2 of our cars. After he looked under the 1st car, he told me never to go back again because the drain plug was rounded. It could only have happened at Kwik Kar because no one else has changed oil in that car since we've had it (5+ years). He then tried to get it unstuck but couldn't, so I called the shop to ask if there's something they could do. The guy I talked to thought I was saying that my son had rounded the plug, but I informed him that my son had found it in that condition. I was told I could bring it in and they'd see what they could do, and if I brought my oil in, the cost would be $50. I reminded him that they had caused the problem but he said just bring it in and they'd look at it.When I got there, he recognized me (I really have been in there a lot) and said they'd take a look. I told him that the oil, oil filter, and gasket were in the car. After a long wait, he called me to the desk to show me the part and again said something about my son doing it, and again I corrected him.I assumed there might be a small charge at that point but was shocked when I was told that the cost would be $65. I objected but was told that's their regular price for an oil change if you bring your own oil (& filter and gasket?). I explained that I wouldn't have come in if they hadn't messed up the plug, and the only concession offered was a coupon discount of $10.When I told the woman that I thought there would be some goodwill offered for a longtime customer, she basically said oh well and made a point to say that my son's not an expert but they are. (I hadn't mentioned that he's trained and certified and no one asked - he's not a first timer for oil changes, just the 1st time on our cars.)I told her I would pay but wouldn't be coming back, and she said ok. Even with other customers in the waiting area hearing this exchange. My family owns several cars (large family, multiple drivers), and we've been in frequently for inspections and oil changes over the years. But they don't seem to need my business enough to try to ensure that I'd return. Must be nice.Side note: I mentioned my experience to 2 friends that afternoon and didn't know they were customers. They both said they won't be returning now either. If Kwik Kar had tried to make things right, I would have continued to go for inspections and maybe even oil changes when my son wasn't available, and they would have kept the 2 additional customers as well.

When we lived in Wylie, this was the only service place that my husband would take our cars to get worked on. Whether it be repairs, or an oil change, staff is very friendly, and the owner is very nice and reasonable. Even though we now live in Fate, we still drive there for car services.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I had a flat tire over at the adjacent gas station and they helped me without hesitation or hassle. I really appreciated their entire team for assisting eventhough they were busy assisting other paying customers - somehow they still made away and left me in a better position than what they found me. Thanks to Trey and his teamService: TiresService: Tires

Used to be good for taking your cars now it s long wait times and money grabs galore here. Didnt write down arrival time waited over 2:30 hours for a simple state inspection. Guy drive the truck hard around the turn because I pointed out that it was 2:30 hour wait then proceeds to fail the inspection on window tint when the car was already registered by dealer. Will never bring my cars or recommend this place again. There s a reason why you re short staffed no one wants to work here anymore and honestly you ll probably be losing more and more customers because of it. Peace out!

Very friendly staff! After looking somewhere else for a quote on a tune up and having another automotive shop tell me I needed several services done, the guys at Kwik Kar let me know that Honda doesn't require certain services until 75,000 miles or 100,000 miles..so they saved me quite a bit of money by only doing things that were necessary at this time on my vehicle. I really appreciate their honesty. They took good care of me!

The owner, Trey, is extremely knowledgeable and will tell you everything you want to know about a repair. He makes excellent recommendations on the quality of parts to use for a fix. He has even honestly told me that a costly repair was more than the likely value of the car. Probably cost him $4k in business but I value a mechanic who is willing to tell it like it is. He even came to pick me and my kids up in our vehicle after he got done fixing it!

Scammers!!! Beware!!! My girlfriend took her car for an alignment and they wanted to charge her over $6,000 worth of work using scare tactics. They told her her car could fall apart if she didn't do the work. Worst of all they charged her $60 and didn't end up doing the alignment. Stay away from this place.

End of an era. First, the service and quality are outstanding. The repair service is also outstanding. I want to make sure that was stated up front. My only problem is with their oil change prices. What use to be 60-80 for synthetic blend was $106 to kick off 2019. That price pushes you to other stores in Sachse or Murphy. It even pushes you to dealers. I will still say they are good, but for oil changes the price is prohibitive.

I have been going here for many years and I am always impressed by the overly friendly staff and care that all of the crew members have. Everyone from the owner to every staff member I have ever spoken with, always show the most care and thoughtfulness with any issues. Seems that they really know how to hire the right people and treat them accordingly.Service: Oil change

The owners of this Kwik Kar used to own the dry-cleaner next door. As they did at the dry-cleaner, they also do here: provide reliable, prompt and competent service. It was a relatively busy weekend and I needed my vehicle inspection done. In and out in a half hour. It remains to be seen how thorough the actual service component is, though even with prior owners I felt like they did a good job.

Tyler (the owner) was awesome. Took my Jeep in for an A/C repair. Work was done on time, within the quoted price and he contacted me frequently to keep me abreast of the progress. Thank you!

I have been taking my cars to this location for years and today was going to be my last visit.I arrived while all bays were empty and no cars parked around facility. A vet pulled up next to and entered shop office as I was looking for my proof of insurance. He got into the inspection bay before me and that was fine. His service was performed and he left. I then waited over 45 minutes while the state inspection bay stayed empty. In the mean time over six vehicles pulled in and had to have their oil changed. The oil changes were serviced by two people per vehicle as that one inspection bay stayed empty!I told the technician about my experience and he could have cared less. I asked him to pass my complaint to the manager. He seemed just as interested in doing that was me waiting wasting my time at that so called service facility.NEVER AGAIN!!!

WOW! Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional technicians. Even in this extreme heat they were all very friendly and thorough. They gave me info a few things they found I might want to have checked out, but never once forced me to decide immediately what to do or put me in a panic saying it had to be done now. They didn't even offer their services, just said it wasn't urgent and wanted to let me know to keep an eye out. The technician explained the pricing before he started my vehicle and told me I could go online for a coupon. Not once did I ever feel intimidated because I was a female. I will definitely do business here again. They are a little more expensive than the Murphy location, but at least they don't pressure you into costly repairs you don't need. I'll pay the extra for the more professional service any day.

I have been talking my car here for awhile. It s a 2007 Honda Pilot. I didn t do the 100,000 recommended service and paid a price for that. Kwik Kar fixed everything. They guaranteed their work. I did have a little problem with a faulty part after that set of repairs and they fixed it for free. They also towed me in for free. That was a fluke though. All of their work has been fantastic.I highly recommend them.

My wife went to have her oil changed on her vehicle, of course they asked her if she wanted to change her air filters and she specifically told them no.After telling them no multiple times, they decided to change the cabin filter and charge her for it without telling her.I know she told them no because I told her I would take care it for much cheaper and in less than 2 minutes.Would not recommend these crooks to anyone. Find some place else.

I often use this facility to do oil changes and don't have any problems. Often I am in and out in 30 minutes, occasionally its longer. State inspections I tend to leave the car so they can get to it when they can. I notice a lot of negative reviews and don't think its justified. I don't think they are the cheapest place, but I don't think they are outrageously expensive either. Tray, the owner, I have always found to be honest and gives a straight answer to any question, even if its not to his advantage.

I ve been going to Kwik Kar in Wylie for all of my auto repair needs for 5+ years. This place has great management in Trey Ellis. It s hard to trust people in this industry a lot of times, but Trey is definitely one of the good ones that genuinely looks out for your best interest. At Kwik Kar in Wylie you get high quality service to your vehicles from people with high integrity. I highly recommend this place!

Prices keep increasing. It's cheaper to get oil changes at the dealership for my truck. Paid for the highest level of car wash and the manager gave me trouble about applying a treatment to my weather tech floors mats when they have done it in the past. Not sure what has changed but management doesnt seem to care about quality of services or customer satisfaction.
