The BEST car repair shop around!I called to schedule service and they were a week out (I always know how busy they stay- because they re that good). A friend talked me into taking my car to another shop that could get to it sooner but they couldn t figure out the problem so took it on to Lloyd at Frenship who is the best troubleshooter and always figures things out and fixes them right and for a more than fair price.I don t believe there is a more honest, skilled shop in our area. I won t hesitate or take my cars anywhere else ever again.

I can't say enough good things about this place. This is where you want and need to have your vehicle repaired. The technician on my truck knew his stuff. Even showed me all the problems it had. And the front desk staff are beyond helpful and friendly. 10 star rating for sure.

Got a flat outside and conveniently they were close. I went inside and one guy was on the phone with customer and the other younger girl was on a personal call and ignored me. Then she got up to talk to her co worker and ignored me like I wasn t there. So I left. Luckily a nice pedestrian stopped and helped me change the tire.

Brought my 92 Jeep in because it wouldn't start. Took them a day to figure out it was the starter and have it repaired. These guys are busy but that's because they are good. Frenship auto is the only place I will take my Jeep. Highly recommended.

Frenship Automotive went above and beyond my expectations. Had some electrical work done and a switch replaced. The work was completed at the agreed price. I picked the vehicle up and noticed some other work that needed to be done had also been completed at no extra charge. Have tooken 3 cars in total 2 with my name and another with my husband.. problem has been fixed they are very clear with their prices and if you want to go thru with it!!! We took my daughter's car and they had it for 2 weeks before doing any work on it. Every time we called asking for it, they told us it was the next car to go in. When they finally called us to talk about needed repairs and costs, Lacy told us it would be 640 dls but when we picked it up, it was over 1,000. Apparently she forgot to mention the estimate she was giving us was for labor only (if you decide to bring your car here, make sure you clarify what is the estimate for). To finish, when we took the car home, we noticed that the oil leak is still going, something else is leaking pretty bad as well (which it wasn't before we took it there) and they left the coolant reservoir empty.Service: Brake service & repair

Steve and the staff at Frenship Automotive were lifesavers. We had an issue arise as we were trying to get on the road and he was able to assist. They have worked on our families vehicles in the past and will continue to use. Cannot emphasize enough how great the staff, prices, and quality of work is/are. Thank you all!

This has hands down been my best experience with a business in Lubbock. It is hard to come by people who treat others as you would want to be treated. They are honest, fair, and do great work. I m so thankful for the people here and their expertise!

I have used this shop on several occasions and at first had no trouble. I had to have all 4 motor mounts replaced and a large piece of machinery was left loose and floating around on top of the engine block. When I took it back and showed the mechanic, he claimed not to know what it was and said he'd never seen it before, yet he managed to bolt it back down properly. No harm done. I thought. The next time I took my car there after this extreme cold spell which killed my battery. I had replaced it myself but the car wouldnt start, so I had it towed in. Within a couple hours they called me a d claimed the motor was bad. They said it was blowing smoke, had metal shavings in the oil, and a "white milky substance in the air breather. I couldn't believe it. The problem which was keeping the car from starting had appeared to be fuel related, like a fuel line or pump. I asked the man if he had mixed me up with someone else. He confirmed it was mine and said I needed a new motor and that I must have driven it hot. I told them to lock it up and I'd come get it. I called for another tow and when the driver brought it to me, he said the guys at the shop had started it up and driven it onto the truck and there was no smoke. He drove it off the truck here and there was no smoke. After checking everything over I have found there is nothing wrong with the motor and none of those symptoms are present. Not only that, but they obviously fixed what had been keeping the car from starting. They must have thought they could fool me and get me to authorize a VERY expensive job. Either that, or my car was healed by God. I wouldn't trust them again with even a simple job.

Frenship Automotive is by far the best shop I ve ever used, and we use them a lot. Whether your needing diesel or gas repairs, this is the place to go! Even though, I said we use them a lot, we ve never had to have the same thing repaired a second time. If you want honesty and integrity, this is the place to go. Anytime we ve had unknown or expensive issues, Greg has contacted us once diagnosed to ask us to come by to see what it is they need to fix and why. We have never wondered if what was done was necessary as Frenship has always shown us before hand.

y'all. They towed my truck to the shop not 30 MINUTES after I called. They kept up with me the entire time, making sure I stayed informed. I picked up my Ford F250 today and was treated like FAMILY by the owner. My Ford is, well... a Ford and it died at the gas station down the road. It's older and has a personality. The owner hopped in his truck with battery boosters and came TO ME. Didn't charge me a dime. I swung back by and just changed out the batteries. Yes, the price was great, but I'll absolutely come back due to the IMPECCABLE service

I have tried several different shops in Lubbock. But now I can truly say they are the best! Greg and his staff make you feel welcome and they do their very best to resolve your problem and tell you why. Their prices are always good and they offer great advice for maintenance. You can count on them and I would highly recommend them to anyone. If you got a Ford diesel, you must try them next time you need service or repairs.-Kevin

I had to have a pretty expensive repair taken care of today and Greg took amazing care of my daughter and I. He treated us like friends and ended up helping us figure out that the dealership could warrenty the repair. Not many auto repair shops would tell you to save your money and have the work done somewhere else. Greg was a blessing to our family today. We will go see him anytime we have a issue from now on.

Great people help me out when I was in a bind and didn't bend me over they actually lowered the price of their normal labor charge so that I can repair my wheels and get back on the road

My pickup is a 1996 Isuzu, needs repairs every year or two. When I have problems they always fit me in, keep me informed about repair status and are reasonably priced. I have never had to return the truck because a repair wasn t performed properly.

Excellent service all the way from "hello", to "thank you for coming" sorta thing. Great people. Owner is a wonderful person at heart, not out to getcha. ABSOLUTELY % recommend Frenship Automotive.

I couldn t ask for nicer people and better customer service. I was in school and the owner arranged for my car to be towed to the station to get worked on. If you re looking for great mechanics at reasonably prices, look no further. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, they didn t try to sell me blinker fluid. I know where I m taking my car next time

This is the only mechanic I go to in lubbock County. Always have treated me fairly and been completely honest. They do not nickel and dime you.
