We took our Jeep to Freedom Automotive for a second opinion after receiving a large repair quote from another shop which included several parts that did not actually need replacement. Jon with Freedom Automotive quickly identified the one bad part and had our Jeep back on the road driving better than ever and saving us thousands of dollars. I highly Recommend Freedom Automotive.

This guy is super honest, top notch mechanic, great prices, quality work. Everybody wishes they had a mechanic like this; super hard to find. Always saves me a lot of money. The work I received was less than half of what it would have cost at the dealership. Thanks again

We had service performed on our 2017 GMC Yukon Denali back in October! We could not have been more pleased! While the service itself and pricing were phenomenal - what impressed us most was the communication! Jon texted and/or called with all information and THEN two months later - followed up to ensure everything was still going well with our vehicle! We will definitely continue to use Freedom Auto Repair for ALL our serious/extensive car repair needs! Thank you Jon!

Jon is straight forward and takes care of business. I like the way he suggests other vehicle repair needs but doesn't press the issue. Very communicative and honest.I have taken manu vehicles to him and have never been disappointed.

Had some work done on my F150. Jon went through the entire truck with a complete diagnostic assessment and gave me the option to choose the items needing repair. Communication couldn t have been any better. He seamlessly worked around my schedule. I ve never had customer service anywhere close to that of Freedom Auto at a dealership. All of my vehicles will be taken to Freedom for any issue from this point forward.

Freedom Auto Repair has been great to work with. All communication is responsive and efficient. They return calls quickly but will also text if that s what you prefer. And another great quality, which is unusual these days, is their repair quotes often have option levels based on the brand of manufactured parts and longevity of warranty offered. It may only be a difference of $50-100 but can be helpful.Three different households in our family use them. Our vehicles range from four to 16 years old; Chevrolet, GMC and Hondas. We appreciate the integrity of Freedom Auto Repair.

Just got my truck back...had a great experience, thorough with transparency and reliability during this process... Very honest and fair ended up spending less money than the original quote that they gave me... I highly recommend freedom Auto repair... I can honestly say that I have not had a company treat me with the level of honesty and fairness that I received with this company... Felt like I was working with family.

Superb communication, price, and service.Let's be honest it's not convenient shop for me personally. Its not close and I pass several other shops to get here. That said, I do it gladly. I've had many horror stories from other shops and dealerships. Freedom has been a breath of fresh air. Jon is great at helping me understand what my vehicles need, which recommended services are important when and most importantly I can trust he does the work he claims he does for a fair price! I've yet to see an air filter ive paid to change that doesn't actually get changed or oil filter not replaced. He even helped me when my catalytic converter where stolen with quick and fair pricing. He made sure I wouldn't be such an easy catalytic target next time!It may not be close to me but well worth the job. Honest, fair, and great communication.

Great service ,value and Communications !!!Jon is very knowledgeable, professional and honest .I kinda stumbled across Freedom Auto Repair like one of those hole in the wall restaurants with the best food and service that you come across and can t wait to tell others .For now on Freedom Auto Repair is my first choice for all my automobile service needs.Go see Jon you ll be glad you did also .

Great service and even better pricing. His shop is very clean and got my truck back in a timely manner. Jon also went through my truck and found things he recommended fixing, but was not pushy about it. Will give him my service again.

Great service and great work. Jon went above and beyond to ensure our car was taken care of properly. This is the 2nd time we've done business with them, and will be back in the future. Fair, and honest pricing with great warranty. You can see how meticulous and careful he is when taking care of your vehicle as his shop is pristine and tool boxes immaculate.

Jon is our go to guy for repairs on all of our family vehicles. He is very detailed, upfront and honest about the repairs. He gets the repairs done in a timely manner. He does the job right to ensure the safety of the vehicle. I take my Tahoe there before long trips to make sure everything is operating properly so we don t have any issues out on the road! We first used Jon at Freedom Auto Repair when his business was in a tiny shop S of Cleveland. We had our Tahoe evaluated elsewhere and were not confident of the diagnosis or of the price estimated to make the repair. Jon not only discovered the true issue but the repair was less invasive and much more affordable than the other shop. His repair corrected the problem and he delivered at the estimated price. John has since moved his business to Willis and though it is a little farther we gladly make the short drive N of the Woodlands to entrust John with our vehicles. Every repair has been done right and at a fair price. Jon always discusses any options that may be considered and with an older vehicle like our Tahoe he does a thorough inspection of other possible issues and helps prioritize by urgency or safety. An honest and knowledgeable mechanic is a wonderful find. Jon is an outstanding guy, running a family owned small town business, handling a wide variety of auto repairs with many years of experience. He is a straight shooter...completely up front and honest and to top it off, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. If you have a question or noise or issue, take it to Jon to have him look at your vehicle and discuss your options. I am a repeat customer and travel out of my way to get to Jon because I know my truck will be road worthy and safe for my family when I get it back from Jon. I needed to get a headlight assembly repaired. I called and was inquiring about if he would be able to do it and if he couldn't then could he point me in the direction. Jon was so friendly and personable, he did exactly that he gave me a timeline and he exceeded on his communication. He had me scheduled and handled business and just like over the phone he was just as nice in person. I just got my van back from the shop today and am happy to report that issue was much simpler than I feared. Jon did a great job tracking down and fixing the problem (a loose battery cable). He is good with communication, taking time to explain the issues, proposed repairs and gives a good breakdown of service in his quotes. His pricing is fair and he does a good job at keeping our older vehicles running. Highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with Jon at Freedom Auto Repair. I was searching for a reliable mechanic in my area who was both honest as well as reasonably priced. I was comparing reviews between shops and came across his reviews. He had excellent reviews. Almost every one said exactly what I was looking for. I called him up and told him that I needed to have my truck checked out, especially the brakes, because I was concerned that my truck was getting unsafe to drive. Even though he was booked for that week he made sure to put some extra time in his schedule to take a look. He kept in touch with me the entire time telling me what needed to be done in order of priority and giving me the prices associated with the service. He was totally honest and upfront the whole time. I was able to get the services I needed in a timely manner and am safely back on the road!

I used Jon for my auto service for ~8 years in WA and I jokingly followed him to the Houston area to get a good mechanic. Seriously though Jon is everything you'd hope for in a mechanic - honest, reliable, and reasonably priced. Jon is the most honest mechanic I have met to date. He states he is reasonably priced but honestly he is beyond reasonable with his pricing considering that he includes parts and labor and warranty. The quality of his work is excellent and he really knows how to treat a customer. The man contacts you to ask if there any concerns with the vehicle and if there is he will take it in and even offer a loaner car. I highly recommend Jon and would ask that everyone support this gentleman and the great he is doing.

When trying to decide on a mechanic you always want to read the reviews to see how they have treated others in the past. In reading Jon s reviews you begin to think that all of the good reviews can t possibly be true. I m here to tell everyone that he is exactly as he has been represented. He is full of integrity and provides quality, professional services. If you need an honest, knowledgeable guy to care for your vehicle...search no more. I have used Freedom Auto on several different occasions now. Jon is always very up front with you on cost and diagnostics. Their prices are more than fair and their work is beyond exceptional. Great and honest mechanic shop, you won't be disappointed! I've been told several times by the GMC dealership that I needed new brakes ASAP...Jon has checked my vehicle out twice and still says I have many, many miles left before needing new brakes. He is upfront and honest and doesn't try to take advantage of you like a lot of places do nowadays.

I can't say enough about how good the service was from Jon. The clutch replacement was done timely and professionally. Like many folks , I've been burned by shops that overcharge for repairs. Jon's rate was very fair and I saved hundreds of dollars versus what Mini would have charged me for the same job.It's a relief to have a mechanic who I can trust with any of my car repair needs!Service: Transmission

I just came to TX from CA. I drive a high mileage 99 Honda CRV that was running rough and stalling, as well as needing a new catalytic converter. Being from out of town, especially being from CA, I anticipated less than stellar service. What I experienced was the very best service I have ever had with a mechanic. I am an amateur shade-tree mechanic and I HATE having to have someone fix my car for me. That means I am the worst kind of customer for a mechanic.Jon and his crew were absolutely professional and clearly know what they are doing. Communication A++, Clear and fair pricing A++, Prompt high quality repair A++, Patience with an old grumpy know it all A++++.Take your car here with confidence. I recently moved to the area and ran into some car trouble. Got an estimate for my car repairs from a well known car repair shop. The price was ridiculously high so I started to look for another mechanic to get a second opinion. I came across Jon's Craigslist ad and all the great reviews and gave him a shot. I'm glad that I did. He was prompt, professional and straight forward in his response and was able to fix my car for 1/3 of the price. I've had no issues with his repairs and I even recommended my friend take her car to him. I'm thankful that I found an honest mechanic. I won't take my car anywhere else.

I consider myself a pretty trusting person and sadly over my 15 years of adulthood I have been raked over the coals by multiple auto shops and individuals because I thought I could trust their expertise and their work. I've been taken advantage of so much that I even considered just ditching my search for a good mechanic and learning to work on my vehicles myself, which is really hard when you have a family, a job and other commitments.To say I combed over all of Freedom Auto Repair's (Jon) reviews before reaching out to him was an understatement. I was incredibly hesitant. When I met Jon that started to changed. He was very friendly, and right off the bat he went out of his way to help me. He did a fantastic job on some specialized part installs and maintenance. He sent me pictures of the work and communicated every step of the way. His prices were very fair. It was a very refreshing experience compared to my past auto repair debacles.I've gone to Jon multiples times now and have always been very happy with the experience. It's one thing to do good mechanical work but it's an entirely different thing to also be courteous and customer oriented. And I'll just reiterate that his mechanical work is top notch indeed.And, just a tidbit to throw in here as I am writing this the day after Tropical Storm Imelda flooded the engine of my truck- Jon just got it back up and running on his own time without me even asking. He potentially saved me thousands of dollars with my insurance company because he cared enough to check the things that someone like me with no wits about working on automobiles wouldn't know to do- Again he did this on his own accord out of the kindness of his heart. I didn't ask or even know! If this doesn't speak volumes about Jon and his business Freedom Auto Repair, I don't know what would...But I can tell you one thing, he won a customer for life and I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who needs automotive work done.
