This place is very professional and stand behind their work. I took my truck in for a alignment and was done in a decent amount of time. And the mechanic showed me all the specs on the alignment. I will go there again for all my mechanic needs.

If I could not leave a star I would, I went in to get an inspection on my vehicle. Actually I went in to ask to see if they did that. The workers had no issue talking about who was going to help me but no one wanted to actually help me.

Friendly and informative. Owners are local and usually at the store. They close by 6pm.I went about 3pm and the Auto Tech was busy with an alignment. So I made appointment go back next day at 3pm.Another Auto Shop I tried, Auto Worxs, was making appointments 3 weeks out. I needed Freon for A/C and couldn't wait that long. Glad I tried Western Auto in Whitney,TX. My A/C is working great!!! I will check with them for future Auto needs.

We recently had a bike tire fixed for our grandson. My husband went back today to get the other tire fixed and the lady at the register was extremely rude to him. She told him they don t fix bike tires. When he told her that they recently fixed one for us she basically called him a liar in front of several people and told him they ve never fixed bike tires. After that, my husband said he will burn in hell before he will ever step foot in there again.

Sorry first off for a lack of pictures again. But, as for western auto, small town feel, friendly enough and a lack of business seem like to me when I went in there but then again it is out here in the country town of Whitney so that's to be expected. Perhaps it was just a slow time when I went through. The lady running the check out was very friendly and even gave us some brochures on some zero turn lawn tractors. They do not sell bike accessories according to the guy at the back desk which is what I went in there for.

Needed an inspection, got here at Western Auto with fast and friendly service, no pressure selling, just down home great service. will do business with them again.At a later date; call for another inspection, the lady that had answered the phone was very friendly and told me to come on in and they will get it done, but just come in before 1:30 because inspection stop at 1:30 on Saturday. Good to know. As always great customer service.Thank you Western Auto

I desperately needed an oil change on my F250SD Diesel. I called and asked how much would they charge if I had all the parts for the oil change including the 2 gas filters and air filter. I was really surprised at the amount told to me, so promptly made an appointment (which wasn't really needed) for the next day.I arrived at 8am promptly and watch the store being opened. The mechanics got busy and about an hour later, all was put back to right. As I was paying for the services, I asked if they could reattach my front license plate as I had knocked it off pushing brush. The mechanic stepped up and said it would be done.The staff went out of their way to help this old lady and I am sorry I will be moving away next month and will miss their due diligence and can do attitude in changing the oil in my old truck for my next oil change. But then, it isnt that far of a drive to come back.Thank you Western Auto..you were a life saver.

Go here for oil change and inspection. Always so nice. Also go here to have mowers n stuff fixed. Sometimes it s a little slow to get your mower back but I guess he s super busy.

The employees are very friendly and they get the job done quick and explained to me what was wrong with my tire and how to go about getting a used one since they didn't have my size. Love this place. Danny is the best there!!

I ve bought my fishing licenses here and a few other items. Always has been a great place to find most any hardware item and the people here are great.I wish they also sold other brands of zero turn mowers, but they d need more room to do that.

We were recommended to take our vehicle here. We thought the breaks needed changed. Dropped off. They informed us, the breaks were good and just humidty causing squeaking. This spoke volumes to me as the told me they were honest.

The Western Auto in Whitney has a very good selection of tools and equipment. They have excellent customer service. The store is always clean and organized. Many decades of service in the Whitney location. Exceptional mechanics and a great location.

If I could give a zero, I would. They do NOT know the law regarding diesels!!!My husband took his Dodge Ram in for inspection. They wouldn't pass it. Said it needs a muffler.Texas law: Muffler, a device consisting of a series of chambers or baffle plates or other mechanical design for the purpose of receiving exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and/or TURBINE wheels for the purpose of receiving exhaust gas from a diesel engine, both of which are effective in reducing noise.His truck has a turbine!Drove to another shop nearby. They had the inspection done in a matter of minutes and when asked about a muffler, quoted the about law!!FYI, my husband is a CERTIFIED DIESEL MECHANIC. He just doesn't work in the field.

OMG I hadnt been in a Western Auto in years...Western Auto was where my parents bought me my fist bicycle...Western Flyer...just walking in there brought back so many wonderful memories I almost cried...GREAT GREAT MEMORIES THANK YOU!!!
