This is a great park. The owners are very nice and helpful! We love the amenities (the pool and walking trails are our favorites) We stayed here for almost a year and had no issues, other than neighbors not picking up after their dogs but that didn t take away from a great place to stay!

I have lived here for 2yrs. No better place around. The owners are fantastic and will help with any of your needs. Mr Young constantly working out here making improvements. He built the pool by himself and it's awesome. Fenced dog park. Free eggs and the community puts free food in the laundry room. Big property. Walking trails and fishing pond. You can not beat this place hands down.

Young and Rachel are very nice host! The park is very quite at night and the stars are a real treat in this true country setting. I had one small issue and emailed it in and it was taken care of the same day. The chickens leave eggs for all that want them. If I stay there to much longer we may have to get more chickens. The laundry is very well lit and the machines perform very good. If it were summer the kids would really enjoy the outdoors and the BIG pool with a nice deck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! We stayed for about 4 months, and loved it! Super quiet at night, the owners are so friendly and accommodating as well. The lots are large, and the fact that they don t discriminate against dog breeds really was amazing!! The drive there is beautiful and it s a cozy spot in between lots of hpese ranches. We loved it and will definitely be back if we re in the area again!

Lovely park with an above ground pool with a nice deck, dog park, laundry room with a nice community sharing area. The owners have a chicken coop and they share the fresh eggs. Great perk! Full hook ups with back in and pull through spots. Recently planted trees through out the park that will provide some great shade. Walking trails and fishing pond. Well maintained and owners are very friendly.

This is the best park in this area! We were so happy we were able to get a spot. It s ALWAYS clean. The owners do a wonderful job with upkeep. Grass cut regularly and trash if there is any. The pool is awesome! And always clean as well. (As you can see, I m a clean freak.lol) THEY HAVE A DOG PARK! So your 4 legged companion can run free! They have a chicken coop, with free range chickens and ducks (they get put back in coop daily) , that they share eggs with in the laundry facility/ community table where there will be other goodies too from other campers! They have a little pond out back and walking trails! Also, the spaces are decently spaced apart unlike other parks in the area! We would hands down come here again!

If you are looking for a nice, quiet and family friendly RV park, Star Trails is a great spot. The owners take great care of the grounds and enforcing the rules that help keep it family and pet friendly.

We recently purchased a travel trailer and did not know if we would be able to find anything the weekend of Memorial Day. Fortunately for us, I stumbled across StarTrails RV Park on a google search. They had recently opened and didn't have much booked. We really enjoyed our stay. It is run by a wonderful couple who have 2 children. They are on the property. There are full hookups at the sites available. It is very bare bones when it comes to amenities (a small laundry area), but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway without any frills, this is definitely your place. We brought along our 2 dogs (no breed restriction so that's a plus for us!) and enjoyed walking the trail. There are many routes to take and it's a good mile if not more if you walk the entire trail. Our dogs LOVED being out on the trails. We loved it too. There is a lovely pond, and they are located next to a horse farm so you may get to see some horses next to the trails, or as soon as you step out of your rv!They seem to have a lot of plans in store for the land. We would definitely visit again and look forward to seeing this place grow.

Absolutely AMAZING place. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend. Very calming. Stayed for a little over a week. New and very clean. Back in and pull through spots very easy access. Playground, laundry house, picnic area with hammock and tent swings. Family that runs it is amazing and incredibly sweet. My family loved getting to play with their kids. We drove to Big Mineral at Lake Texoma for a family reunion a few days during our stay. It was very close and great to have a little get away. The trails were fantastic and my boys loved the pond. They played every day at the playground. I can't WAIT to see how this place grows.

A great stop on our way home. The park is very open, clean and well kept. It has all the necessities and then some, including free WiFi, laundry and a nice dog park. The owners are great and go out of their way to make you comfortable. Give it a try.

Wonderful place to camp!! The view is exceptional with a horse farm to the left of us, pond and hiking trails behind us. Free wifi, laundry room, and a playground. And you cant find any better of staff that run the park. Just a wonderful family oriented environment, secluded, yet 6 to 8 miles in either direction you'll find a dollar store or grocery store. I love it here, and feel like it's a wonderful find!!!!

Had to book an emergency 4 day layover in our 36ft Momentum 5th Wheel on 2 weeks notice during 4th of July weekend and every place with availability hiked their prices to $65 to $99 a night. StarTrails seems to not try to rip off the weary traveler and we got a 50amp full hookup for $35 a night. The owners are fellow travelers and built a no nonsense RV Park to accommodate the practical needs of RVers. No fancy lodge, no dining hall or concert stage, but you get a giant dog enclosure big enough to throw a ball full force and actually exercise your cooped up puppy. You get a beautiful nature trail to stretch your own legs, a tree fort and playground for the kiddos and an above ground pool to cool off and relax. The laundry room is roomy and clean and it only costs $1.50 a load get this...$1.00 to dry! There is also a sense of community here with a food donation basket and free eggs from the owners. This was our first 4th of July away from family, and the owners knocked on our door and welcomed us to join their BBQ. If you are looking for something big and fancy stay away...I prefer to have this home away from home all to myself.

We stayed there for a week while moving back to Texas from Tennessee. They set us up right beside the pool. It was great for the kids. They loved the kids park, rabbit, ducks and chickens. Wish we would have had to enjoy. Highly recommend.

A very nice family owns and runs the park. They have a chicken coop with beautiful chickens and a pond for fishing. They have only just opened the place but the extravagant scenery and hospitality make it a must stay. If you're just passing by for vacation or plan on staying for a while this is an obvious choice.

I am so happy stateaying here. The couple that owns the place are just great people. They have a dream to make this place the best it can be. Its a brand new RV park so everything is fresh they've. Even begun planting more trees in the park. Its already a nice quite little community I would really like to see it take off for the owners they honestly deserve it. Great people!

The campground is in a pasture turned into a campground. There are many full timers there with only one or two overnight spaces. We were in D01 which was a mud puddle. The people next door said there was a water problem and all the water settled in our site. The photos on the website are very deceiving, don't take them as gospel. Needless to say we will not be staying there again.

As we wrap up the end of our first month here, as a full time, long term RV-living, fur-family, I can hardly believe what a beautiful Texas paradise that we have laid out around us every day. Park is situated on a hillside, and with the pads spreading down towards the office, laundry facilities, play equipment, chicken coops, and maintenance shed, with a couple of trees at the bottom that have likely stood for a hundred years, looking over them all. Iwake up every morning with the sunrise in my bedroom window, and I open my front door, or kitchen curtains, and watch the glorious sunset behind those grandfather trees in the evening. My 2 mini Chihuahuas, who are pet fence, rather than leash dogs, have the freedom to enjoy their own little front yard, with little frogs to chase, and a birds eye view of the entire place to bark at. Once the sun has set, you really begin to realize where the name came from, as the site is located far enough from the highway that there is very little interfering light to block out the constellations. My husband and I could not be happier, or feel more grateful to have found Startrails, because it feels like our own little country paradise. It s quiet and secluded, and located near Whitesboro, where you can find fast food restaurants like McDonald s and Pizza Hut, and grocery stops like Brookshire Brothers grocery and Dollar General. Couple that own the park are delightful, always cheerful, usually on site during business hours, with a friendly smile on their faces, and their own precious family and pets playing nearby. WiFi is excellent for satellite internet, and is free, so no more burning up the hotspots on our phones. The only thing we need now is more neighbors, so if you re a similar full time RV family, look no further.
