I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. The costumer service is top notch. I needed a U-joint removed from my drive shaft and the new one pressed in for my 69 Dodge. Met Doc as I was walking up and told him what I had. He stopped everything he was doing to help me out. His service was 10/10 and he was one of the nicest people that I have met in a long time. You just don't find costumer service like this anymore. HUGE shout out to DOC.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Highly recommend Ernie's Automobile Care in West Columbia, Texas. I have been going to Ernie's for almost 3 years. He is very honest and can be trusted for all your automotive needs! Knows everything about cars and truly has a passion for helping people!

Ernie is an honest mechanic, and cares completely about his customers being satisfied. I was completely impressed with my A/C service today and will definitely be back for any mechanic services I need in the future. Without a doubt, this is a dependable, go-to shop.

My car lost its alternator just outside of West Columbia earlier yesterday. I was 2 hours away from home and I had no one to help me. Pulling into dairy queen I wondered what I would do, so I found a hotel and looked for mechanic shops. Ernie was the first to pop up on the list, so I checked his reviews, all of them 5 stars. I called promptly as they were closing soon and talked to Ernie, he said he was pretty booked but he would see what he could do for me in the morning. Let me tell you folks, Ernie has earned EVERY single 5 star review he has. He was polite, expert, and even though he could have had me over a barrel (as I had no way home) his prices were incredibly agreeable. This is a diamond in the rough shop in West Columbia.

Go ask for Doc when you go. He knows foreign, domestic, and anything in-between about cars from bumper to bumper.

Knowledgeable staff, pricing was pretty much on par with everyone else, the guy that runs the shop, Juan, is smart and friendly. Great Shop 10/10 highly recommend
