We were vacationing in the area, when we experienced a flat tire on our rental. Our rental company told us we could get a new tire at Pep Boys billed to them. Benny at Pep Boys took really good care of us. He got us in right away, so we could get back to our vacation. Mechanic Michael gave is great service as well. Fast, friendly service! Thank you.

We were traveling to visit relatives and ended up with a front end issue and needing new tires. I work in a tire center up north understand the issues. Benigno and his staff were honest, professional and provided great customer service. Got our vehicle in the same day we requested service. I highly recommend them! Thank you.

Very nice people who care about your concerns of your vehicle. They have always been kind and respectful to me and other customers. Ben, the person in charge; took the time to make sure my brakes were in good working order after I had concerns. I recommend Pep Boys in Weslaco.

There are better options and more experienced mechanics that will actually take a look at your vehicle to determine the true cause of the issue. Pep boys stated my starter needed to be changed, only for the fuel evap to be the problem. So pep boys charged nearly 1k of work for an issue that wasn't. I'd recommend another shop

I have always had a good experience with Pep Boys. The store in Weslaco is about the only place I will go for tire service. I like that they are open late and can work done on my vehicle without having to take off of work.

Service technician explained in detail. No rushing. Made sure to check the vehicle thoroughly and identified the problem. Quickly had vehicle repaired. The technicians even helped me push car as it stalled in parking lot! Alternator had giving out and messes up the battery. Great work and done fast.

After getting my oil changed at this location with synthetic oil which lasts 6,000 miles or 6 months (which ever hits first). I had 1,000 miles and one month before my next oil change was due and when I checked my dipstick I had absolutely no oil. Had I waited until the mileage I would ve ran my engine without oil, so I top it off and take it in and it s completely black as if they had never changed my oil or maybe just not my oil filter and simply claimed to . Would definitely not recommend.

Took my vehicle in for an oil change, alignment and to check tire pressure for a tire I was getting an alert on.They tried to sell me four brand new tires, but I only opted for one that was giving me the low pressure alert.The VERY NEXT DAY a new alert was going off on a front tire. suspiciousI took it back and they just filled the tire up and sent me on my way.The tire can not hold pressure so I went to another PepBoys in McAllen (closer to home). They tried to sell me another tire for almost $100 more than I paid for one three days prior.Took it to a mom and pop shop for an $11 patch.

If your mechanics don t know what they are doing just be truthful. So, I could've taken my car to someone who knows because now it's costing me more to fix what you all did worse. Thing is I won't be able to prove it unless an employee there has a heart and says the truth. To me you'll are crooks. From the bad reviews I've seen you also seem that way.

PLEASE NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE"PEP BOYS WESLACO I WENT FOR A FLAT TIRE AND THEY ADVISED ME, THE TRUCK NEEDED A REPLACEMENT I SAID OKAY, NOW MY TRUCK HAS A BIG NOISE THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHANGE THE PARTS THEY CHARGED $700 I TOOK MY TRUCK TO THE AGENCY FOR THIS NOISE, I STILL WAITING FOR THE MANAGER CALL, AFTER HE CAME OUTSIDE AND TOLD ME HE WILL CALL ME AND GET A FREE OIL CHANGE FOREVER, I DON'T NEED OIL CHANGE I NEED MY MONEY BACK TO FIX MY TRUCK. IT'S a 2020 CHEVY SILVERADO, PLEASE DON'T WASTE Your time taking your vehicle with them..They will steal your vehicle parts and will charge for nothing, I swear to God I can't believe exist ppl like this. IF YOU TAKE YOUR VEHICLE GO AND CHECK IF THEY DID THEY JOB .THE MOST BAD EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE

While the staff was friendly, about an hour after I arrived for a service they advised me a filter they needed wasn t available for a piece of equipment. These items should be checked before you start your day to ensure you can accommodate your clients. Very disappointing.

This is not the first time I've had a bad experience here, but it will be my last. I took my vehicle in for an oil change, only because it's situated close to work and it allowed me to kill 2 birds with one stone. That being said, a week after I took it in, I started to hear an ugly scratching sound coming from underneath the car. I pulled over and saw that the plastic covering underneath, was dragging and was scuffed up pretty bad. I realized that it only had one bolt that was holding it up when there should have been several. That bolt was unusable after that and I had to drive it back in that manner causing further damage. Garbage. Also, I'm a member of the military and we used to take all our rental trucks there for service but kept having issues and after months of dealing with it and going without our work trucks, we called Enterprise and asked if we could change the work orders over to Firestone - huge difference. We passed the word along to our sister companies and most followed suit. Either Firestone or the dealership. BTW, the "discounts" you're given, for those that aren't versed in mechanics and prices, are not discounts at all - this place charges way too much for basic work, only to end up with problems.

Excellent service. Went in without an appointment but was attended right away. Brake inspection was completed quickly and services were provided immediately. Customer service was outstanding.

Unfortunately, my vehicle continued to have a crunchy sound coming from the brakes even after they repaired it. They removed a rock, said everything else was fine. Just took it to another location, and I need a rotor replaced.On the upside, everyone was friendly, fast, and helpful! I doubt this was intentional, as it could've looked like the rock was the only issue.

This used to be my go to place for service and tires. Yet my wife came yesterday for a simple tire fix, she was told that the tire couldn t be repaired and needed to buy a new one. Guess what a mom and pop tire shop fixed it for $10, nothing special. All they wanted to do was to sell her a tire we didn t need because she s a woman. Never coming back and would strongly advise for everyone to stay away.

Very helpful and kind. They always seem to have your best interests in mind. Always treated me with respect, every time I've had my vehicle serviced at the Weslaco location. Aditude reflects leadership. The manager's and staff should all be commended for their hard work and dedication. Excellent customer service! Thank you!

They tried to rip me off !! Did a brake job two weeks ago charged me over $400 .had to go back was worse noise first time I went back They said the noise was normal so I left it got worse went back for the 3rd time come to find out they hadn't even replace the brakes but charged me. The woman that was there took care of it she was nice . But do not trust the manager i will never go back there again they are crooks not the only bad experience there

They were very courteous and prompt. Quality work at a great price. My pickup was fixed in a few hours. They checked my electrical, found out the problem, and fixed my turn signals. The service team is great.

Manager Benny, is a wonderful person, very caring, eager to assist customers. We have been customers here because of him, we have purchased tires for 5 of our vehicles because of the excellent service he has given us thru out all of these years, our kids are all grown and some have moved away from home and they will not buy tires for their vehicles where they live they choose to come to this Pep Boys location instead in Wesla�o Tx, because again of the excellent service we get here every time. This company I hope appreciates all of the employees they currently have because it's team work that helps keep the business going and they are EXCELLENT. If I could give them a 10 star I wouldn't hesitate.

Very bad customer service and attitude from the customer representatives and manager. They make you wait for a 2 hrs. for simple oil change and they don't even care to tell you they are short handed, which is probably a lie since in those two hours that I was waiting 3 customers arrived and they were service like they were fully staff. Never again I will go there. Stay away from this Pep Boys!
