Service was excellent and process was well explained. I just wish the company it self would know a little more on what is covered when you purchase warranty. Not a good thing when you think you will be covered and then that one item that breaks ends up being the only thing not covered. Other than that it was a great experience my car was in and out in a day. Thanks Homer for the great and easy experience.

Homer the service advisor did a great job helping us with our truck problem. Our truck was there for a week and Homer explained to us exactly what was going on. He assured us that it was going to be repaired right. We were charged a very fair price. The truck worked great. We are very satisfied with the service. I would also like to thank the mechanic that repaired it. Great job.

Carried Buick in for oil change and issues I was having with the customization of the instrument panel. As always, the did an exceptional job. Called and got appointment for 3 hours later. Went in and oil change was done promptly. Mechanic told service writer the instrument panel was a user issue. The service writer assisted me in resetting everything. They were very kind and didn't make me feel stupid. They just helped!

Service associate was very good and appreciated for the help. Service was extremely slow and too 2 full days. No updates provided till I called. This would have been worse if I had planned to wait. As it was I chose to drop off with the knowledge a call would follow up. I trust Chevrolet with my vehicle and only get service at a dealer. This type of communication is a negative experience. Even after the second full day I had to call to get an update which was unacceptable.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in at my appointment time. Joey handled the reason I was there and explained the process very friendly and professionally. When the job was done about an hour later, Joey called me to inform me that the work was completed. At checkout, the ladies were friendly and courteous. Everything was great! Thank you.

Joey in service does not listen and notate all issues. My dent was not fixed nor noted and now it will be another 3 days without a vehicle if I can take it back all the way from Mission. He was slow at responding. Oil change was perfect and diagnostics explanation was good. 2 for Joey and 5 for the actual techs.

Over all the experience was bleak. Alyssa was supposed to be in charge of my vehicle and all she did was check me in. Another gentlemen came and told me the services my vehicle needed and he s the one that brought my car. Brenda, the one that charged me was extremely nice and helpful. My vehicle was just left on the service driveway turned on with the door closed. About two hours later I get a text from Alyssa that my vehicle wasn t ready yet but she ll update me. It s a little concerning that the person in charge of my vehicle information wasn t even aware it had been done and not even on the lot anymore. Doesn t seem like there s proper communication within the service department.

I will continue to take my vehicle to Payne GMC. customer service was great - including my shuttle home. the driver was so nice and friendly. The service writer , Mathew was professional and kept me updated the whole way through the services they performed. I won t go anywhere else from now on!

Service representative Rey was professional, courteous and respectful. Payne Chevrolet is very fortunate to have him!!! However the $12.95 shop charge for repair order is a complete scam. Prices are high enough due to inflation without having to pay for this frivolous charge. I rate Rey a 5 star and the dealership 3 star.

Went in for a standard oil change and tire rotation, staff was very friendly and helpful, service was fast and the wait lobby was comfortable and clean. Very satisfied with service and the promptness of the completion. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning for my next scheduled service.

The two batteries on my 2020 Denali Sierra truck were depleted (4 years). They were replaced. Payne checked the condition of each battery before recommending they be replaced. They replaced them quickly and I am back on the road. A little expensive, but I would rather be safe than stranded a thousand miles from home pulling our RV.

Had an appointment for oil and filter change at 1:00 pm. They immediately took my car keys and car into service. I was done by 1:45 pm. Fast and efficient too expensive, though. Will not use a dealership next time. I will try a private shop.

Updates were never fulfilled by the dealer. I had to be calling to ask what the status of my vehicle was. Ed Payne employee lacked communication skills. Communication needs to be better with the customer. After service was completed on my vehicle, I requested an oil change and no sticker with date, mileage was posted for next oil change. Had a new water pump installed on my vehicle and coolant wasn t added to the truck.

Our experience started off a little rocky. We were getting frustrated with not getting communication.Once Mathew Romero took our file over it was smooth sailing. He was very patient and knowledgeable about everything. He also kept us updated with all the details.

I called to schedule an appointment the same day. I was seen by Malachi and he was amazing didn't last more than 1hr before my vehicle was serviced and turned over to me. Overall great experience and awesome customer service!

Went for a recall had a free oil change was there for 2 and half hours only got the oil change come 12 o'clock every one disappeared for lunch it's always the same with payne service department. Do not recommend at all!!

Took my car in for a small oil leak... about six months later, left with a new motor, new battery, and a car that is ticking, stalling and needing a tow... but they tell me nothing is wrong with it. During that time, the only updates I would receive was after I called and spoke with someone at that moment. I ask for manager to call back, 9 times out of 10 no call. Sorry but customer service should be giving updates as things happen, not letting weeks go by and then replying when called.

I was informed about a two hour job, from 10 am to 1pm, 1hour break for lunch, I was dropped off at Academy in the meantime. At 3pm I found out my truck was ready!They didn't notify me that my truck was ready until I called them, so I wasted a better part of my day waiting an extra 3 hours!Sorry customer service!

So this time I had to come in for a slipping 1st and 2nd gear for my GMC Sierra. Immediately from entering the service department with Martin I new everything would be taken care of in a timely and professional manner!! Definitely would recommend the service team here and will definitely be back in the future if necessary..

There was a substantial lack of communication from key parties in regards to getting a loaner. Once I did get a loaner I was pleasantly surprised when they called me after only a week to advise me my vehicle was done. I was unpleasantly surprised when they borderline demanded I return the vehicle back to budget with only a three hour window because they closed at 1pm and I was called at 10am. After much back and forth they were generous enough to let me turn it in the following day. I am not from the valley so I have no family that could help me out or friends that could help me out last minute. This was after they had told me that could turn the rental back in to them and after calling budget they re like Ummmm .. no you can t do that. There is so much more in this interaction that I left out that would ve explained how bad this interaction was. Additionally, the reason I took it back to Payne was because mid-2023 I took it in complaining of a substantial gear slippage and the check engine light coming on. They said it was an issue because the transmission needed a flush. The same issue occurred just recently and when i looked online it s been a known issue with Chevy Silverados (lifters/cam shaft) which was verified when i took it in. These issues were covered under warranty but that didn t stop them from charging me a bunch of money for an unneeded flush months before. I was lucky/unlucky to have this issue rear its head up, much worse this time, 2 weeks before my warranty expired.

I always return to Payne Chevrolet for service and maintenance on my 2017 Traverse. I was surprised that my Traverse required extensive front fascia/bumper removal to what should have been a simple change out of 2 headlight bulbs, but the folks at Payne were extremely helpful to getting my car back in proper road approved shape. Thank you.

4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation!I had an appointment at 10am, and my car wasn t done until almost 2pm. The person that helped me said it was because I dropped off the vehicle and they were first servicing the vehicles of the people that were waiting. Then what is the point of scheduling an appointment if the people waiting take priority. I did not receive any updates until I went in to check at the 3 hour mark, and still waited there for an additional hour because they were barely working on it. It s ridiculous how ones time is disregarded like that. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the ONLY person that apologized and heard me out, was the person taking payments. I have always done the maintenance with the dealership, but after today, I will not set a foot into the establishment. Upset is an understatement.

Everything fine except for just replace 2 air filters, a/c cab and engine air filter on a chevy spark $100 bucks! Seems to me so expensive $70 bucks per labor plus $30 on both air filters, and didn't take not even 20 min to change them out. Next time I'll do it myself

Terrible experience with chevorlet weslaco payne service department. I made the 45 minute drive out there to get my vehicle serviced thinking I d be getting the best costumer care as it was the place I initially purchased my vehicle from. Entirely the opposite. I was told after the vehicle was serviced that some parts would be needed to be ordered and that they would take a couple days to arrive but that I was still able to pick up and take my vehicle home that same day. I was told over the phone by the service agent that it was okay to be ran as is and for me to just bring it back when parts arrived. I arrive there only to be told by another individual that my car was NOT OKAY to drive as per the mechanic which made her hesitant on returning my keys. I had no other way of leaving, again I live 45 minutes away and my ride had left at this point. I opted to take my car anyway. Few days later I call about the parts and was told to go in on a specific day, so I made morning arrangements with work to be able to drop off the vehicle. The morning of I try reaching out to the service agent to verify if parts had arrived before making the drive, no answer. I call the service department, manager lets me know she has spoken to my service agent and that parts had not arrived yet. Minutes later, my service agent texts me telling me parts are in. So here I am turning back and forth, missing hours from work and wasting gas because I m being told two different things and nobody could clarify anything to me. I told them I d be returning to work and that I d be taking my vehicle in 2 days later just to allow them time to get it together to avoid any more time off work and spent gas from my part. Finally the day I return to get everything taken cared of, I turn in my keys and was ultimately declined a ride home even though at my last visit they told me they ve driven people home to my area in various occasions. That same service agent told me the rides were for the locals only! That felt entirely unfair as I too am a costumer of the company and should be treated equally. I ended up waiting a total of 5/6 hours in the facility, unable to leave until service was finished. With that said, I am incredibly disappointed with their service at payne weslaco and don t plan on returning in any foreseeable future. Terrible terrible terrible service. Ended up getting charged a higher price than initially stated as well.

They treated me like family and knew exactly what they were doing fixed my issue in the service department and the young man with the glasses that does the oil change kudos to him for being such a great trooper and all this especially want to thank him for helping me the way he did.
