Mike is one of the most genuine and honest people I've ever met. He's doing everything he can to get my beat-up old SUV to pass inspection because the check engine light keeps getting triggered. He lays out all my options and lets me decide how to proceed. Can't recommend him enough. Truly passionate about helping his customers.

I highly recommend Pops and Michael. He did the work quickly and professionally. He saw that our Jeep Grand Cherokee needed a brake job and recommended that. It is nice to have a honest technician who is reasonable and completes all the tasks on time

Took the old truck in for a little (read: some serious) preventative maintenance (something every 22 year old vehicle needs every now and then) on Tuesday, and got it back just after lunch on Friday, and everything is operating the way is should again. Cost ran a little over original estimate, but as I'm fully aware that tearing into twenty-plus year old equipment there's going to be a few "surprises," I had no problem with the extra mile that he took in fixing them. Good work and a fair price. Even the A/C is back to approaching frostbite inducing levels. When it's a bigger issue than I can handle in the driveway, I'll take it back to Pop's!

Pop s Automotive is the best! I had asked for a recommendation on Facebook, and he personally reached out to me. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and does all the work himself. I will definitely be taking my car there from now on for anything that it needs and will highly recommend him for anyone that needs anything for their car.

Mike has a nice one man shop in Webster. I went to him for the first time, as I needed an air conditioner compressor replacement. He was pleasant to speak with, knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable giving him the work. He took my vehicle immediately and had it repaired quickly and at a reasonable price. I have absolutely no qualms taking any future vehicle problems to POP s Automotive.

The team at Pop s Automotive were great. Very upfront and informative. Gave me an estimate for the repairs needed on my tundra and there was no deviation from that initial price. Michael also helped solve a challenging electrical issue I had been battling. Michael has helped with various vehicles in my family for years. Always a great feeling knowing you have a mechanic you can trust! Thank you Pop s!!

Michael knows his stuff! Pop's Automotive has been our go-to for all our maintenance and repairs. (Note however that, at the time of this review, the shop doesn't have the space to fit new tires, so we have to get that done elsewhere for now.)

I took in my Toyota Corolla for coolant flush, to replace transmission fluid, and to replace valve cover gasket. Mike was very professional, quoted the price before beginning the work, and was willing to answer my questions. I m very pleased with the work he did, and the price was reasonable.

I wish i could give more than 5 stars because Michael, with Pop s automotive was amazing!! He was honest, fair and did great work on my vehicle. Pops is now my go to Automotive place I will be using and referring everyone to.

Pop's Automotive is a definitive go-to for honest, affordable (not cheap), repaired the first time correctly. Mike (Pop) will not oversell, or try to raise prices through junk fees. You will get Honesty, Integrity, and a shop which stands DIRECTLY behind their repairs. By the way...Maintenance (not just oil changes) keep the big invoices away. Pop's Automotive will offer a full, comprehensive maintenance schedule from the vehicle manufacturer to keep you're vehicle safe, reliable, and worry free for years to come! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND POPS, and happen to be a 30 year automotive technician...and NO, I am not a current, or past employee.

Mike did a great job letting me know what exactly my car needed to clear the check engine light for inspection and getting it running like it should. I dropped it off and he did exactly what he said it needed and had me back on the road in a quickly manner. I highly recommend using his shop.

So glad I tried Pop's! Less than 1/3 of the price I was quoted at another shop-- replaced one targeted part instead of just shotgunning the entire system. Rapid turnaround. Fair warranty. This is for repairing an AC system on an old Subaru over the holidays.

Michael is amazing! Generally you do not hear the words, honest and mechanic in the same sentence however, that is exactly what Michael is! He is always upfront and does what he can to save you money. Michael is about creating relationships and a loyal customer base. Didn t do a good job with the car. I went in to fix whatever was wrong with my car to pass the car inspection, and followed the instructions the mechanic gave me. Turns out he broke something else because my car went in with a misfire on cylinder 3, and came out with a misfire on cylinder 2. Terrible service. Do not come here if you want to fix your problems

I had such a good experience with this mechanic. Michael was wonderful and thorough. He was knowledgeable about a tricky problem with my vehicle, and was able to diagnose it quickly and get me an estimate same day.He was very clear and concise with what was needed on my vehicle and made sure I had a good understanding of the problem. Michael was very up front and professional. Gave me a rundown of his proposed actions and got to work on my car the very next day. I was emailed a report that broke everything down, all the required actions and a couple recommendations. Very simple, user-friendly layout, I was able to pick and choose which actions I wanted done. What was even more awesome was a call the day after I picked up my vehicle to make sure everything was running well. I have never had that experience with with any other mechanic. I brought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in with some A/C issues. After a quick talk with the owner, Mike, he informed me that he could get the issue resolved. However, to my surprise, Mike fixed the issue literally overnight and had the Jeep ready for pick-up the next morning. I can not recommend Pop's enough. I feel like they have gone above and beyond to help me get my sons truck taken care of. He is now away at college and I feel better knowing that quality work was done on the truck. All work has been done quickly and the price is fair. I would recommend Pop's to anyone needing work done. Bonus...they work with extended warranty companies.

I ve been in Texas for 5 years now and have been looking for a great mechanic that could be my knight in greasy armor for a while now. On Facebook, I ve gone to many of the recommended mechanics on Talk of League City without any luck. I m not sure what people base greatness off of, but none of them were for me. I expect great customer service, honesty, and to not get taken advantage of because I m a single female.It took two years but when I met Michael, I knew he was The One! He s honest, helpful, affordable, and has great customer service. He reminds me exactly of the mechanic I had back back home in Chicago.I delayed writing this because I didn t want him getting so busy that I couldn t get in.But how could I not brag about such greatness?!So go see Michael now. I took my used car in for diagnostic inspection because I was having issues. They told me up front of the cost and if I used them the cost would be applied to the work. They had my diagnosis the next day which was quick. I trusted the information they gave me and with that it allowed me to make a decision on what I should do with the vehicle. We decided to not have any work done and trade it in for another car. I would use Pop s Automotive again if needed. They are trusting and prices are reasonable.

Mike is always an ace #1 mechanic! He is incredibly knowledgeable in every aspect of being an amazing mechanic! I would refer him to anyone in need of a good mechanic who is honest & is the best of the best!I visited Pop's recently & had the best service ever again!
